Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The light measures approx 10 inches(250mm) tall by 5 inches(125mm) in diameter. It is modeled as an inverted flame. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a beautiful decorative piece. Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. It's in very good condition considering it's age. No chips. Cracks or breaks that I can see in the metal part. The glass part on the top piece has a couple of chips. One of the pictures shows them. This is a gorgeous gone with the wind style hanging chandelier light or lamp with red glass. It resembles fenton type glass lamps I have seen. But I could not locate a marking. There are no chips in the glass, also includes tons of hanging crystals. VTG MID CENTURY MODERN GLASS CHANDELIER SWAG HANGING LAMP ORANGE AMBER PLUG IN
This is a very nice mid century hanging swag lamp. The chain hooks up to a ceiling hook. Etc. the lamp hangs down. There is plenty of chain to reach quite a distance to an outlet(then just plugs in- no hard wiring needed) The clear coated electrical cord runs within the chain. The cord/chain has a dial type switch(see photo) The globe is glass with bubble shaped type texture pattern. The ends are metal. Please examine all enlarged photos for best description. I believe you will be pleased with what you see. On the upper rim. Under where the metal covers, there looks like there may be a small crack. It does not go through the glass. I noted it when I took the metal off. I will be adding a photo. It is covered by the metal& does not affect appearance. Other than that there are no chips, cracks or breakage. In a few small areas there are ... moresome minor changes to the orange/amber color on the glass- much like thinning varnish, typically expected with aging. In my opinion it is not all that noticable when the lamp is on, nor does it detract from the wonderfulness of this lamp. It is a good sign of true vintage age. Again, see all enlarged photos. These are a matching Pair of Antique Hanging Lights or Chandeliers with matching cased glass orange shades. They are in very good condition. There is some paint on the ceiling mounts that need to be cleaned off. There are no chips or cracks to the shades but there is a spot that has been ground down on the rim around the fitter on one shade. It is hardly noticeable and undetected when put into the ring. The shades are cased with orange and white faded colors on the outside and white on the inside. The shades are 4"long x 5"wide. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Vintage Mid Century Green Electric Plug In Hanging Lamp w/ Amber Colored Glass Globes and Glass Prisms. This Lamp or Light works great and would be an asset to anyone's vintage home decor. Please look at all pictures and read item description. Here is what to expect as far as condition and is what was written above: Vtg Used Condition. Might need more cleaning. It has been cleaned lightly for pictures but might need a little more. It is missing one of its original nuts on top. We have replaced it with another one as seen in pictures. The prisms could stand to be rewired and attached to the lamp. The wire has gotten old that holds them onto the lamp and sometimes they break off due to the brittle metal wire. So rewiring the prisms is a must eventually. It isn't missing any of its prisms. You might see some minor scratches to the paint ... morebut none that is just awful or takes away from the lamp. The goldtone chain might have some fading to the plating but really looks good for its age. I don't see any rust on the chain at all. This is a really beautiful antique light fixture. It is a hanging ceiling mount chandelier type fixture for restoration. I think it is 1930's and has an art deco look to it. There is a clear glass shaft with really thick glass. looks much thicker then normal glass shafts. It holds 4 standard bulbs. The glass arm measures 12.5 inches long. Overall 34.5" inches long. This is a truly beautiful stained glass light fixture. It has wonderful green. Pink, and yellow colors. The shade measures about 18 inches in diameter and has a depth of about 12 inches. The chain is large and has been left with its vintage petina- looks great. The ceiling canopy has a vintage brass patina as well. The glass is all there and is from the 1920's era. There are a few of the pieces with cracks/chips. But, has great presence and displays exceptionally well. The socket housing is vintage and in great condition. Antique Art Deco Cream Colored Crystal Or Glass Hanging Chandelier
This is a great looking Art Deco hanging chandelier. I believe the shade is crystal. It carries a longer tone when struck. The shaft and cup at the bottom look to be glass. But I am not sure. The shade is about 15" across and the chandelier is about 13" tall. I do not see a maker's mark but I also don't know where to look. There looks to be an internal crack in the cup underneath the shade but you can't feel it when you run your hand over it. This piece of art carries strong lines and curves. Overall, the entire fixture is solid, nothing is loose, bent, or damaged. Obviously, for something of this age it's in need of either cleaning or a polishing, depending on the buyer's preference. One sconce has a visible crack in it, though it's not damaging to the structure of the glass from what I can tell. The wiring is original and would need to be replaced, though the sockets look very clean. There is a small bag of installation hardware. I've lightly washed the glass sconces and brass chandelier, but some light grime may still remain. Vintage Wrought Iron Hanging Chandelier with 8 Handblown Blue Glass globes
Offered here is a vintage wrought iron chandelier with 8 what appears to be hand blowen glass globes in a crackle glass pattern. The globes appear to have been blowne right in the iron frames. The glass is 3/8 inch thick. The chandelier measure 32 inches across and is 18 inches high from the point at the bottom to the top ring. There is a chain that it hangs from that measure 36 inches long. The wiring is all intact but I would recommend that it be rewired to make sure there are no problems. This chandelier has set in a damp location for a few years and has some surface rust on it that I think could be cleaned up easily or it can be left as is and be called Rusty Rustic or something like that. SORRY I COULDN'T GET A BETTER PICTURE BUT I HAD NO ONE TO HOLD IT OR ANY PLACE TO HANG IT. THE CEILING FIXTURE IS 7 3/4" IN DIAM. THE SHADE IS APPROX. 7 1/2" IN DIAM. AT THE LARGEST PART AND 8 1/2" TALL& THE BASE IS 4" IN DIAM. THERE IS A 3/8" CHIP ON THE INSIDE EDGE AND NUMEROUS FLAKES AND SMALLER CHIPS FROM BEING REMOVED NUMEROUS TIMES AND FOR IT'S AGE.
