International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for a shipping estimate! Up for sale is a Vintage Cast Iron Slag Glass Gothic Arts& Crafts Mission Porch Light Fixture. This fixture has a great revival look. features removable slag glass panels. They were originally installed via 2 L-brackets. So that they could slide in. Now, the bottom brackets are still there, but the top brackets have eroded away, or they were possibly cut out so that the glass could be removed. This is all the original glass that came with the fixture. The only way I could figure out how to properly hold the glass in, was to use velcro on the top side. Believe it or not, it works pretty well! I took a photo showing the little velcro tabs. Obviously you could remove those tabs if you wanted to use a different method. The fixture is very old and vintage, and has a few areas that are weathered& have small splits(near the bottom finial part) The paint isn't in the best condition but has the weathered appeal. The base is cast iron; the other part of the fixture(the fram part where the glass goes) is not cast iron, it's some sort of painted metal. The entire fixture is heavy and solid, weighing in at about 5 ounds. The fixture has a new porcelain socket& brand new wiring. It's in excellent workding condition! The entire fixture measures 12" long by approximately 6" wide. The glass has a green swirl design but when lit. It almost looks yellow. You could keep this beautiful glass or replace it with clear panels. There is no mounting hardware or bulb included in the auction. This would look great on the porch of an arts& crafts bungalow. NICE ART AND CRAFTS SLAG GLASS GOTHIC HANGING PORCH LIGHT
This auction is for a neat Art and Crafts period Gothic style hanging porch light. It has 8 slag glass and amber glass panels. The light has a great look but has a few minor losses that are not too noticable. Especially if it is hanging. First it is missing two decorative finials, one on one top corner and one on the bottom. One amber glass panel has some light crackling to the glass. It is not broken through and the glass is in tact. It is also missing the piece that would cover the wiring where it gos into the ceiling. There is some light paint loss to the metal but it only serves to give the light character. Antique Gothic Fixture Lamp Very Rare Amber Mica Glass 4 CandleLight 30 H X12W
Up for bid a very Rare Beauty of a Rare Gothic fixture with crackle motif glass it's either Mica glass or art glass it is 30in from the top to bottom not counting the chain the plate it's 12in W but because of it shape its quit bulky around it would be 48in it has 4 candlelight with covers it has a small door that opens and resembles a cage it looks like a church fixture very early the metal is tole or tin I am not sure it's not that thick I am trying to see if it has any marks. We bought two of these fixtures in an antique shop that closed in Chicago about 15 years ago and we were told they were European. This listing is for a Gothic style chandelier with 6 lighted candles plus a center light. The light is shown in working order. But should be inspected prior to being installed. The piece at the ceiling is missing. The white candles are discolored. there is a switch on top of the light that controls what combination of lights are on. A vintage cast iron light fixture with lightly textured ruby red glass panels. Measures approximately 11-1/2" tall to the top of the hanger finial x 4¾" in diameter at the widest point. The mounting plate measures approximately 6" in diameter. The glass panels are free from chips or cracks. Overall condition is good. There are small two cracks in the cast iron on one side which does not affect the soundness of the fixture- please see picture#6, the cast iron is oxidized, it will need new wiring and will benefit from a more thorough cleaning.

You are bidding on this vintage pair of light shade. They are a very deep amber color. Carmel color. The glass is blown into a ribbed metal“cage” Very different, and ancient looking. The glass is thick with lots of texture in it. It’s a large shade. 9 1/2" tall, 7" wide, and opening at bottom 3 1/2" diameter. This shade weighs about 2 1/2 lbs each. The rim is rough around the edges as they is hand blown primitive, thick glass. There are tiny paint flecks on it, as seen in pics. Circa 50- 80 years old, in excellent condition! SUPERB Victorian Gothic MILK GLASS Ceiling Light c1900. Originally from Church
This superb Victorian Gothic ceiling light was removed from an ultra modern flat in London's Docklands just last week. Rather surprisingly being used with a Herbert Terry anglepoise wall lamp, which is listed seperately. I was told that this milk glass light had originally been found in an ante room of a local church and apart from receiving a good wash to the shade and rewiring. It has retained it's original fittings and is completely as found yet looks simply stunning. The hexagonal milk glass shade is approx. 12" tall. Giving a 15" measurement to both shade and it's fitting. Each of the hexagonal arched panels measures 3" and the total width of the shade is approx, 7" The original hammered metal rose is present but a new chain and sympathetic wiring has been added. I truly wish I had photographed this before ... moreremoval, as once illuminated it displays enchantingly. Please take a close look at the moulding to the shade. As it is very fine work and adds considerably to the overall gothic effect. Be sure to take a look at the Herbert Terry lamp and it would be great if they could again be displayed together!

Vintage Antique Custard Glass 1920's Gothic Ceiling Light Fixture Moorish
For your consideration is this beautiful Gothic or Moorish Design Custard Glass shade ceiling light fixture. It has great gothic lines and appears to be hand painted in the panes to look like stained glass or marble. Stunning when lit. The painting is original to the shade, I soaked it for a lnog time to get some paint splatter off the shade and the paint never softened, so it must be fired on. The shade is hanging from it's brass fitter that is 5 3/4" across at the ceiling mount. The light measures 16 1/2" long by 6" wide. It has a pull chain switch that looks like it has been added. There is a small hole on the opposite side that looks like it was the original hole for the pull chain. The shade is in wonderful condition, no chips or cracks, maybe a few tiny spots of paint that I missed when cleaning. The fixture has it's ... moregreat old natural aged patina and does have a split at the top and a tiny one above the pull chain, in the rim. It does however, hang securely and is holding well and should not split any further. This light has been rewired recently and is working well, including the pull chain. A great solid heavy brass and glass fixture that could be used on a porch or in a hall; circa 1930's or 40's. Fixture has 6 panels of glass. One panel is hinged as a side door that has a locking knob. Glass is set in a very heavy solid brass frame with an antique finish. There are four candelabra base sockets. Cast Fleur De Lis accents adorn the top of the frame. Dimensions of body are 20" tall by 10" in diameter. For your consideration is this magnificent light from an old mission in Southern California. It has all of it's original honey Slag Glass and it's original canopy. The light measures 20 1/2" tall and is 9 1/2" across. The chain and canopy measure 22" in length and the canopy is 5" across. The sides panes measure 10" tall by 5 1/2" across. So this is a nice sunstantial size light. As shown, this light is fabulous with all of it's glass, on the roof, sides and the bottom. It light's up beautifully. The condition is very good, the light has been rewired. ANTIQUE FRENCH SPANISH GOTHIC IRON 3 LANTERN LAMP CHANDELIER AMBER STAINED GLASS
Very beautiful. Antique to vintage, French or Spanish, Gothic style, chandelier. Features a large, ornate, scrolled wrought iron frame which is black with gold gilt accents. The chandelier is 3 arm/light. Each arm houses a large lantern with 4 stained glass panels. The glass is dark amber which changes to a lovely gold in the light. At certain angles and in certain light, the fixture appears to have two different colors of glass. The glass is textured on the interior with a smooth exterior. The glass is held in place with tabs on the interior of the lanterns and with screws at the top of the lantern frames. Each lantern is topped with an ornate, large twisted finial. This accent is repeated on the bottom of the fixture. A floral pattern bobeche sits below each lantern. The lanterns are open on the top and bottom. The are angled with the top ... moresections wider and they narrow toward the bottom. The chandelier is quite nice and in very good condition. It retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is fluted and the gold and black colors are repeated here as well. There is a yellow UL sticker inside the canopy but there are no manufacturer's marks. The initials of"G.S. are painted on the top of one of the arms. I do not know if this is a maker's mark or if this was added sometime later. It is not visible when the chandelier is hanging. The wiring is cloth wrapped. The cloth has worn in a few areas but the wiring is still in good condition. The sockets appear to have been updated at some point. Each arms houses one socket and utilizes one standard sized bulb. The chandelier is large and measures 27" in diameter and 24" tall(excluding chain) There is approximately 17" of wire and hanging chain(original black iron) Each of the lantern arms is 13" tall from bottom to top of finial.
