The pear shaped gilt frame is covered in leaves and accented wonderfully with white drops. The contrast of gold and white is very elegant. It has the original chain and ceiling canopy and takes US/Canada standard candelabra bulb as I have added an adapter. You can also use E-14 European base bulbs by removing the adapter. Up for sale is a vintage Italian gold gilt iron decorative chandelier part. It came from a local estate and its actual function is unknown. It could be used for decor or lighting but it currently is not wired. It features gold gilt roses. Foliage a partial chain, tassel, and 3 miniature arm like extensions. A creative person could create a lamp or chandelier. It measures 14" long by about 7 1/2" wide. This is an older decorative piece with some scuffs, scrapes, scratches, and general wear. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL AND RARE DESIGN. Antique(c1940s) French wall sconce lamps. This grand pair mimic climbing rose bushes which are attached to center poles/stakes. The vines/branches and leaves are gilded iron tole with ivory/white porcelain roses in full bloom. Each sconce features 7 porcelain roses. The sconces are quite grand in size and measure 29" tall. They have ornate wall plates of gilded bronze or brass with a flower petal design surrounded with a beaded pattern. Long arms extend the sconces out from the wall for an even grander effect. The sconces operate with one regular sized, 60 watt bulb(not the small candelabra type bulbs) Each sconce retains their original harp and finial. The finials are also porcelain roses. This is a beautiful, elegant pair of sconces with a truly unique design. THEY ARE GORGEOUS! ... moreThey are in very good condition for their age. The roses do have some minor chips on their edges, but nothing that is too noticeable or out of the ordinary and certainly nothing distracting. This is a pretty one light hanging gilt/gold light fixture/chandelier. Made in Italy. It did have a made in Italy label when I found it but unfortunately I lost it, It has been around a while so does have tarnish spots on it. PLEASE LOOK OVER PHOTOS. I did add a new socket and wire, but otherwise it is AS FOUND. It has a short chain and about 2 feet of wire at the top( i added plenty of wire in case you need to lengthen the chain, you can always cut some off if you don't need it) It has a bamboo/wicker look ceiling mount. You could add chain/cord to make a swag you could use anywhere, or use as a hardwire light like it is. It uses a large base bulb. This measures about 15" tall and 15" wide.
