I can not seem to find any maker marks on either piece but believe it to be older. The chain on the top looks like an add on in order to hang this globe for display. The globe measures about 7"long and the bottom opening is about 4" with the top measuring 5" There are several chips on the edges of the globe but no visible cracks or damage. It looks like there are small paint flakes on the glass but otherwise in very good vintage condition. The bottom gas inlet and burner portion appears to be brass and the top shade looks to be lightweight copper. There are a couple missing thumb screws on the top portion. We can see a predominant Art Nouveau theme with Louis XVI elements. It originally had a central gas lamp and two additional lamps at each end. The gas lamps are now converted to hold electric bulbs. This is a counterweighted lamp: the center section can be extended/retracted with a chain and pulley system. This system works as it should except the chains could be longer. The bronzework on this chandelier is excellent. With high quality construction and nicely done details. It is nicely patinated to a medium bronze color and we did not attempt any restoration or polishing. The wiring and sockets are old and in poor condition and must be replaced before use. Adjustable Base. Uses standard light bulb or floodlight type. Brass name plate on the base. Large in size- 13" in diameter. The fixture can be mounted flat. Upside down or on either the left or right sideways. A very unusual and hard-to-find light fixture made by Westinghouse Electric& Mfg Co prior to 1945. I know this as the floodlight has a brass plate on the base with the Westinghouse name. Style number and watts. Westinghouse changed it's name in 1945. The style number is 786740-B. Watts are 150-200. Another unusual thing about this light has a thick glass cover or lens. The lens is attached with an expanding ring that ... moreencircles the outer edge of the fixture shade and lens. I put a standard 50 watt bulb and an electrical plug and everything works great. A larger bulb or even a flood light bulb can be used depending on what the end use of the fixture is to be. The base has a wingnut adjustment so that the angel of the light can be set as desired. There are a couple of spots where the enamel finish is missing and the glass lens is chipped on one edge(see pic) The electrical cord is 7-8 ft in length and the plug is brand new. The lens is marked'W' and is the fixture for Westinghouse. My lengthy research failed to find another exactly like this one. The center of the glass lens is like bubble. It's not a break or a crack. Rare Ornate Antique Cast Iron Gas Town City Street Light Lamp Post Bracket
Here is a great RARE antique cast iron gas street light bracket. It may also have been mounted to the side of a building. Either way it is very unique and rare. It measures a total of about 19" from top to bottom and 7" in diameter across the top. The bottom rod that sticks out is about 5" long. Overall it is great shape. It obviously needs cleaned up. The top removable round"disc" is slightly bent and will need straightening. I am not sure how the other two"discs" fit on. They may be the base and trim piece for a pole. I have other fixtures listed and more on the way. This is an amazing find fresh from an estate the scroll work is beautiful. This will look fantastic in any home or office. I have a matching fixture listed separately. The sockets do not fit normal bulbs they are foreign possibly French. Easy to swap out for ones that accept normal bulbs or possibly there is an adapter that can just screw in. The milk glass shades look great and have no chips or cracks. The fixture with the shades is 20 wide and 34 from the ceiling to the bottom. the shade fitters are 2 1/4.

Antique Brass Gas Wall Sconce Roses Art Nouveau Lamp Candlestick Holder
Up for sale is an Antique Solid Brass Gas Wall Sconce features a rose design. Looks like a bouquet of roses. There are 2 tubes that lead to the large open roses, which thread onto the tubes. The front features a hole where a knob would be mounted to control the flames. There are a total of 2 gas burners, it could be used as candlestick holders or even be converted to make a really nice wall accent lamp. It is approximately 21"T x about 12 1/2"W, and total it stands approximately 4" from the wall, so I would say 4" deep. This is a really intricate and realistic casting, note the detail work on the closed buds and on the leaves. This is a very quality piece, and very solid and heavy, it weighs almost 6 lbs. It was made in the late 1800's to early 1900's and is of an Art Nouveau style. This would make a lovely accent ... morein any home or garden. Ornate Flowers & Leaves~Antique Victorian Etched Glass~Gas Lamp/Light Shade~4" F
Unusual antique etched light shade with all over ornate floral. Leaf and vine pattern. Detailed acid etching. This Victorian era shade most likely dates to the 1870s to 1890s. About 3-3/4" tall. 4" fitter, and just about 7-5/8" wide at the top. In lovely condition for its age. It has a little slight roughness around the fitter, but no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. One area on the inside has some tiny texture bumps, almost like hairspray got on it. It is part of the glass, and not visible, but thought I'd mention it. It will be carefully packaged for shipping. ONE OF A KIND! Monumental Late 18th c Continental Carved Gilt wood what was a Floor Gas Chandelier/ Lamp base. A meticulously with high attention to details. Carved base is tripod and has three gargoyle supports for the lower baluster-form body continue to a more narrow with acanthus leaf round top. The wood show great age. You can notice small cracks here and there. Over the lifetime this piece was repaired in a few places. I see missing piece pict#4. Sometimes in a past it was refinished through which we can see a dark bordo color base( was used instead of the later used white gesso base) under the original gilded finish. the bronze ball rolling hardware was attached sometimes in late 19th early 20th c. will help to"drive" the piece from place to place using one hand. Amazingly this piece has light weight! though it is 55" ... moretall and 25" wide:O! There is a hole for the gas pipe goes all the way from the bottom to the top. Wow a true one of a kind fresh estate find(remote primitive Vermont homestead) hanging gas chandelier light. Very early and very original. Measuring approx. 36" tall and 25" across is this monumental hand forged( a true early artisan blacksmith creation) forged iron with no welds all iron is tooled and hammer meshed together to act as a unit, iron clasp and forged rivets. 4 tubular forged iron gas tubes that lead to 4 forged duel valves w/ bronze control knobs( couple are bent) for a total of 8 flames or torches. Flame nozzles appear as a mini fire hose nozzle, 12 original separate mica lens( material used in old wood stove windows) encircle the entire chandelier with 1 broke. This is a very old original gas chandelier that one can assume needs reconditioning to be used as it once was over 100 years ago. An unusual old hanging burner- lamp- heater- stove. The top round fuel tank is made of tin. The long arm is steel with brass fittings. The round container would hold gas. Kerosene or oil. Not sure which- It is 36" long. It has a patent date of the Jan. 1876. It appears to be in very good condition. We haven't tried it. And don't know if it works. There is a round hangar on the top back. It could be hung in different rooms in the house or moved and hung in the barn. It would have provided light and heat to warm something up. This lot has three late 1800s gas chandeliers in need of restoration. All are solid brass and all need work. The two arm fixture with fancy Eastlake style gas keys measures 33” tall x 20” wide; hall fixture is 30” tall and holds app. 6” diameter globe. It has a badly bent shade ring. Lot of 14 Cylinder Mantle Incandescent Gas Lamp Light 1 7/8" Fitter Chimney SHades Welsbach Burner Mantle MacBeth 180-D in Box Mica UP FOR BUY IT NOW: A lot of 14 unusual cylinder gas chimneys. Chimney shades are ca. 1890s- 1910s. Cylinder style for gas lights. All excellent condition except as noted. Five 1 7/8" fitter chimneys that are 6" tall. Three similar fitter chimneys and 7" tall in thin cardboard sleeves. The one frosted on both ends has a crack. One MacBeth 180-D shade in original box, has 1 7/8" fitters and 8" tall, one end frosted. One Welsbach combination burner, igniter, mantle, and mica chimney combination in original box, the box and mica shade are rough.
