This listing is for a PAIR OF ANTIQUE ART DECO SLIP SHADE WALL SCONCES W/ AMBER FROSTED SHADES IN ORIGIONAL FINISH REWIRED.The metal sconce has a nickle platted finish. One shade is in good condition with a few minor inside edge chips. the other shade is about 90% cracked thru. Previous owner said a glass person glued the crack so it wouldn't come apart.I am selling this as is with one good shade and one bad shade.The electrical components were replaced for safety. The length is about 11 inches with shade. About 7 in width and extends about 4 1/2 inches from wall. The shade is 1 3/8 inches at base and 5 inches at top. Sides are 5 inches long. With sleek Art Deco lines, the lamp has a large Glass shade, with these same lines, and design, the lamp measures 12" high, and the shade has a circumfrence of 25" around at the bottom of the shade, the lamp is in very good condition no chips or cracks, and uses a 40 amp bulb, the lamp cord is a standard plug, and is in very good condition, and works great. The scones measure 10 1/4" in height with the back plate measuring 4 7/8" wide and it will stand out from the wall 3 1/2" from the back plate to the edge of the glass. The back plate is made of brass. The curvature of the glass measures 3" from the base plate to the maximum curvature and is 4" wide at the base. The glass is 7 1/4" high. This item is a beautiful Antique/Vintage Ceiling Light Shade. It is pink. Frosted depression glass with cut flowers and leaves. It has cut glass scallops along the outside. There is a cut glass waffle pattern in the center. It is in excellent condition for it's age, however, there are a few flea bite chips in two of the corners and one chip on the side, barely noticeable(see pics 3,4,5& 6) There are two very small dark marks on the inside, but again, barely noticeable. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Beautiful antique glass shade ceiling light fixture. This light comes with the mounting hardware and is ready for use. The light has a wonderful glow with the frosted shade and clear glass accents. It really lights up a large room and gives it a warm inviting feeling. The pressed shade has a wonderful raised clear leaf and flower detail with clear glass scalloped and spider webbed center. A heavy brass pineapple finial finishes off the bottom of the shade. The porcelain fitter is by Porcelier and like the shade in excellent condition. The fitter has leaf design along the rim. Very nice clean Art Nouveau or early Art Deco Lamp Shade made of clear frosted glass. The shade is in clean condition with only some very small chips on the top rim(which is attaching the shade to the light fixture- therefor it will be invisible) The shade is about 6 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The diameter for the top is 2 1/4 inches(outer part of the rim) and 2 inches(inner curve of the rim) all messured on the outside of the rim. Overall a wonderful shade. Please see pics. Antique Frosted Etched Painted Pink Cabbage Roses Glass Globe Shade Green Leaves
This is a stunning antique frosted glass light globe has delicate raised pink roses and green leaves with a garland of branches with tiny thorns looping all around the bell of the globe. Standing 4.5” tall. The neck is 3.25” around(outside diameter) and 2 7/8” around(inside diameter) The sides are fluted at the neck and then flare out to a bell with a turned edge that is 6” wide. The delicate pink roses, leaves and brambles with thorns are raised on the outside of the glass, but the coloring was added on the glossy inside. Under the top lip is a chip about ½” long, plus a few flea bites, and the larger diameter lip has a small chip on the inside(not noticeable from the outside) plus some air bubbles throughout the glass, but nothing that detracts and nothing that compromises the overall integrity of the shade. There are no cracks or ... moresplits anywhere and the beautiful frosting is complete throughout. It could use a cleaning but I will leave that up to the new owner. This is a gorgeous vintage glass globe and most unusual, probably from the 1930’s or earlier.
