This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. The ... moreglass parts are 3/8" to 1/2" thick and there are no chips, cracks or damages to the lower part or brass accessories. The bottom center of the shade is in the form of a compass. The light hangs down about six inches, and measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter. This item is a beautiful Antique/Vintage Ceiling Light Shade. It is pink. Frosted depression glass with cut flowers and leaves. It has cut glass scallops along the outside. There is a cut glass waffle pattern in the center. It is in excellent condition for it's age, however, there are a few flea bite chips in two of the corners and one chip on the side, barely noticeable(see pics 3,4,5& 6) There are two very small dark marks on the inside, but again, barely noticeable. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Beautiful antique glass shade ceiling light fixture. This light comes with the mounting hardware and is ready for use. The light has a wonderful glow with the frosted shade and clear glass accents. It really lights up a large room and gives it a warm inviting feeling. The pressed shade has a wonderful raised clear leaf and flower detail with clear glass scalloped and spider webbed center. A heavy brass pineapple finial finishes off the bottom of the shade. The porcelain fitter is by Porcelier and like the shade in excellent condition. The fitter has leaf design along the rim. Brass has age wear and is dark at the top and ceiling part has tarnish proofing flaking and some paint on edge. From top of hanger loop to bottom finial it is about 12 1/2" long x 5 1/4" wide. The overall length of the fixture is 7 1/2" high. The canopy cover is tarnished,pitted and has paint around the edge. It measures 5 1/8" in diameter. The brass collar around the socket is split.The porcelain socket has some rust and the wires are in poor condition.This fixture was not tested. I do not see any markings or manufacture. Description: This re-wired vintage ceiling light is likely from the 1930s or 40s. The glass shade has a satin finish on the outside. The inside is painted in white. Yellow and orange-red, with a stylized floral pattern. The fixture hangs down 10-1/4 inches, and measures 16 inches wide. The glass is in great condition. There are a few minor flakes on the rim, but they are not very noticeable, and do not detract from the beauty of this fixture. The metal components are solid brass. Including the ceiling canopy. Beautiful vintage frosted peach& clear glass ceiling 3 hole light cover. Ex.cd. This is a Beautiful vintage frosted peach& clear glass ceiling 3 hole light cover. The shade/cover is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. One very tiny nick or what may just be a manufacturers flaw on the upper outer edge. There is some roughness along the upper glass edge but it appears to be manufactured that way, where the glass edge just isn't real smooth. There are three tiny pen point sized spots of color loss to the peach color on the inside of the cover. It also shows some minor scratches or scuffs at the mounting holes where it was previously mounted. I'm trying to point out any minor imperfections that I see to eliminate any surprises but in reality this is still a very nice shade cover in great condition. Wonderful frosted peach ... morecolor in the center along with a pretty design outer clear glass ruffled edge. It has three mounting holes. Really a truly beautiful piece. 1930s Vintage Bubble Pattern Frosted Glass Ceiling Light Fixture w/ New Wiring
Description: This ceiling fixture has a shade that is etched on the inside. Which also has a raised bubble pattern. The outside of the shade is smooth and not etched. The rim of the shade is wavy. The shade is suspended from the steel shade holder by three bead chains. The shade holder has been carefully stripped and finished in a metallic antique brass color. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of very minor flakes on the inside rim, but not really noticeable. The light hangs down 8 inches, and measures 11 inches in diameter. I have two available, and both are in the same excellent condition. The fixture has a brand new porcelain socket with new wiring. Vintage Mid-Century Glass Globe for Ceiling Fixture - Clear and Frosted
This estate sale item a glass globe for a ceiling fixture. The house from which it comes was built in 1947; I think it's the original fixture from the main bathroom. The globe would work for any style from mid-century modern to art deco. The design is an interesting mixture of ribbed. Dotted, and concentric circles of frosted glass with a milk glass accent band. In terms of size, it would work best in a smaller space like a bathroom, kitchenette, short hall, etc. The globe is fairly small(6 3/4" across the base, 5 1/2" high, and 2 3/4" across the opening) We package the fragile items we sell carefully with bubble wrap and packing peanuts. The frosted pink shade is 14" in diameter with a feather design around center of shade. This fixture is a double light socket. Light also has a clear glass center column and clear glass top bowl. The frosted pink shade has 2 small chips on inside edge of shade(shown in picture#11) I left the dirt in those 2 chips so they would be easier to see. However they really don't show once cleaned. I tested this fixture and have a few pictures to show it while lit. It really has a nice glow. I did notice though the wires up in the chain have a couple spots where the cloth coating on the old wires has deteriorated. So this light will probably need rewired. Antique glass center hole mounted ceiling light fixture shade. It is clear and frosted with a rounded shape and a nice pattern. Very nice shade. It is 10" across and 4" deep. It has no chips or cracks that I could see. I have described the items condition to the best of my knowledge.
