I have for sale a pair of Art Deco style molded glass and chrome wall sconces, each frosted pink shade is decorated with a ribbed motif and central figure of a nude in relief, set in a chrome frame. I was told they were made in Holland. I am a guy whose taste is not quite this style. By the pictures you can see they do operate. Unfortunately one does have a very tiny nick. This does not affect the looks though when the glass is sitting in the chrome frame. They measure 9 1/2"high, 10 1/2 wide and weigh approx. 5 lb. I hope the pictures and info help. Any? A fabulous vintage French Art Deco design ceiling light. The heavy opaque glass dome has a deep internal rib design(with the outer glass being smooth) Fitted with is a very stylish decorative brass outer collar which has a delightful filigree pattern running around the whole of the outer rim. There is a complimentary brass empire style centre embellishment to set it off. In very good used vintage condition. Only a few light scuffs/ age tarnishing to the brass. Verreries des Hanots Wonderful very rare 1930-1935 flush fitting art deco ceiling fixture in bronze with nickel finish holding a very large shade in a thick quality white moulded-pressed glass. Produced by Verreries des Hanots in the 30ies this shade does not exist with a signature. It is represented in numerous catalogues of lamp producers for instance Hettier& Vincent made several fixtures for this model. In an old Holophane(Hanots and Verlys) catalogue is is represented under#8547'Laterne Juive' the Jewish Lantern) I was not able to trace down the maker of the fixture. I found several of these mountings in cast brass or bronze and originaly they were covered by green paint. I had them nickel plated and patinated. The lamp is in excellent condition. It has a drop of 33.7 cm(12" and the shade has a diameter of 28 cm(13-1/4" ... moreThe shade has a weight of 2.8 kilos! Hand made from thick. Pressed glass between 1926- 1936 in France, this is an excellent example of famous Degué glass, signed and guaranteed original. The lampshade or'tulipe' has a deep geometric and stylised floral design- classic Degue- and is mostly frosted with polished clear highlights. The lamp is 40 cms or 16 inches tall. Is 15 cms/ 6 inches across and wheighs 1.5 kg/ 3.3 pounds The glass is in great condition. There is a very tiny fleabite on the rim(pic 10) and a shallow hairline crack visable on one side of the glass only(pic 11) I have had to look very hard for these. They are hardly noticeable, do not affect the stability of the ... moreglass and I only mention them for accuracy. The base is painted iron and is in good. Aged condition. The paint is missing in places either through age or design and this adds to its charm. Included in the sale is modern wiring suitable for 110v. 220v or 240v fitted with a European B22 lamp holder. This can easily be replaced or converted to another size depending on your needs. In this case the heavy metal filigree frame is the vintage part, all the beading, prisms etc. has been added and is not original to this light. Absolutely gorgeous circa 1920's Art Deco French chandelier. It is solid cast brass with 8 arms and 16 lights in 2 tiers. Acanthus leaves and flying Goddesses make up the decor of this fancy formal fixture dripping with rocco swirls and movement. Rocco chain and celing plate also. There are scalloped petal"wax catchers" under each candle light. Some"candles" have dripping wax. Some don't. The chandelier appears to have been recently rewired. It came out of a very upscale estate sale home. Measures approximately 26" in width from candle arm to candle arm and approximately 34" in length not counting the chain and ceiling plate. Vintage Glass Shade This is a beautiful glass shade. It is cranberry and clear glass. Which has a swirl pattern and fluted, frilly drop edging. It measures 16" in diameter and weighs 11 pounds. It has only been cleaned with Windex to inspect for damage. There are a few small chips on the rim and mounting holes. The lighting fixtures cover any chips by the mounting holes when assembled. The chains are 21" long. The black light switches are marked Perkins. There is some white marks that maybe paint and some black rubs on the shade. The wires are frayed. The ceiling cap has been painted at one point in its life. Title Superb 1930's Art Deco Ezan Glass Ceiling Light, This is fabulous French art deco chandelier dating from the 1930's. It is by the renowned glass maker Ezan and is signed on all the glass parts. Complete with all it's original'p âte de verre' melting ice glass shades in excellent condition. The frame is made from alloy with a copper colour coating and has very attractive arms with a pierced fretwork design. It was completely dismantled in our workshop. Cleaned and fully rewired. Period Bronze & Alabaster Chandelier c1930 French Empire Art Deco Gold Ornate
Offered here is a unique bronze figural chandelier with original period carved alabaster shades. This period antique piece is in EXCELLENT condition. With only minimal chipping on the alabaster shades, and a light patina on the bronze frame. The figural caryatid busts are done extraordinarily well, with clear attention to detail by the original manufacturer. This chandelier was most likely produced in Chicago around the 1930's, while the shades appear to be Italian. This chandelier measures 41" tall by 21" wide. This chandelier has three sockets, each accepting one 100 watt Edison based bulb.

Art nouveau deco geometric nickel bronze ? Bomb chandelier Light Lustre French ?
I will try to describe this as best as I can; I am not a lighting expert but I do know a nice thing when I see it! If I am in error in any way. I welcome a polite correction and will add to the listing accordingly. This light fitting is the most wonderful shape. It puts me in mind of an archetypal WW1 bomb with it's upper fins. It is extremely heavy and although I'm not absolutely sure what it is made out of, it could be bronze that was nickle plated/ gilded, originally. It weighs just under 8kg, it is 75cms from the bottom point to the top of the loop fitting and it is 55cms across it's widest point. I haven't attempted to clean it in any way as it looks great the way it is. I'm sure a new owner would be the best one to decide how to use or restore it if need be. Apart from what I presume is obvious loss to the original ... morefinish, there is no damage that I can see, no dents or breakages. The shade sconces are a little out of shape here and there but nothing serious. Of course, the whole thing would need re-wiring and new bulb fittings installed but it will look sensational in the right room, I'm sure. There is a chain attachment at the top with no ceiling rose but I'm sure that this would not be too much of a problem to source. I do have 5 pink satin shades that came with the fitting and will post a picture anon. I think however that some frosted Muller or Degue shades would suit it better. Obviously the postage for this item is going to be very high- around £25 to £30 for Europe and certainly around the £100 mark to the USA. The fins at the top of the fixture and the 5 lower arms do unscrew. So it would be fairly straight forward to re-assemble. I am happy to post abroad but please do bear in mind the costs. I am happy of course to mail within the UK but would really prefer personal pick-up/ collection. If possible. I have acquired a handful of lighting pieces from this period. Large French ART DECO ceiling rose 1920s 1930s for chandelier - cache beliere
Wonderful and LARGE art deco ceiling rose. Dates from the 1920s or 1930s. From France. It features a geometric decoration with stylised flowers and fruits. Wonderful detailing. Quality item. Quite heavy. I think this is gilt bronze. Difficult to find. 18 cm or 7' diameter. About 57 cm or 2' 3/4 high.

PAIR ART DECO MARBLED GLASS SHADES A pair or Art Deco marbled glass shades. They are shaped rather like a beehive and have the original fittings. In perfect condition. There are no chips or cracks although there is some light nibbling around the top edge which is totally concealed by the fitting. They measure 8cm in diameter at the base and are 16cm in height including fitting. Due to the hand made nature of these glass shades there are often tiny bubbles or minor flaws which are part of their charm. Any damage will be pointed out to the best of our knowledge. Description For auction is a vintage French Art Deco period ceiling light complete with beautiful mottled white stepped pendant globe shade. With aluminium gallery fitting This is an original French art deco piece. The shade is very much in the"Clichy" style of mottled glass. Condition is very good, the shade is in perfect order with no chips or cracks, and the metal surfaces are nice and clean with minimal signs of surface wear, consumate with age. The lamp is fitted with a hanging bracket that could be attached to a chain, or it can be simply hung direct on the cable The overall length is 23cm.
