Offered is a fabulous 47 piece lot of old French Cut pendalogue chandelier prisms. This is an asssorted lot with the smaller ones measuring 3 inches long plus the top bead. The largest ones are 5 inches long plus the top beads. These are flat on one side and cut with a double bevel edge on the other. A great mixed lot with some unusual cuts, some have glass florete top jewels. There are more than enough prisms her to really dress up your old French Versailles chandelier. There are a couple of them that are missing the top jewels, I will add them prior to packaging. The parcel will be a rather large and heavy. Its about 13" long to the bottom of the prism to the top canopy piece without any chain and 7" in diameter at top rim and 6" at top canopy section in diameter. Its got beautiful crystal spear prisms hanging down and all are present. It does work as you can see in photos and has along cord for plugging into wall, however the wiring doesnt look brand new so it should probably be checked by a professional. Also the top portion is missing a lot of its patina, and there are black spots, so its not perfect, please see the photos and inspect carefully so you know the condition. If you like French then these vintage wall sconces are for you- this is a pair of brass 3 arm wall sconces with handpainted Sevres style medallions depicting a courting couple. The brass has a nice aged patina. At the top the brass is a basket of flowers then they have criss cross pattern that continues down to the arms of candleholders. The medallions are on each arm so 6 total-the brass work around the arms are very ornate and very much in the French style. They are in great shape-there is some residue from candle wax(last picture) which I am sure can be removed. The chandelier is arrange in two tiers. The first crystal is a rose cut crystal with a dropper crystal underneath and measures approximately overall 8" outside diameter and a drop of 9" excluding the chains. All of the crystals appear to original and in place with none missing. The crystals also appear to be in good order. however some of the tips have tiny chips to them you have to look really close and I am not sure if this was made in manufactureWhat would seem to be the original 3 hook ceiling rose is present. The bands are made of brass and the top band has a flower and leaf motif running around the circumference. The top band has 5 ... morebrass leave coming off the top of the ring. Each of these leaves has again a two part dropper as above, again in good order. The brass work does show signs of tarnishing due to the age of the item. Up for consideration is a fine set of 4 or 2 pair of Antique French Wall Sconces. The sconces date from about 1910 or so and measure 14 1/2 inches tall by about 10 inches by 5 inches deep. This set consists of 3 arms on each piece with great casting and super casting. As with good fine quality French Sconces they are cast in many separate pieces. The backplate consists of 3 separate pieces. There is a lacey bowtie top cascading down and tying into the top of the torch with descending bell flowers in the center body of the torch. These date to the late 1800s and are very ornate and high quality. They are made from solid Bronze and were burnished several years ago and shine brightly. These sconces were originally electric sconces that were removed from a St. Louis mansion. They are done in the ornate Neoclassical style. They have a large decorated Oval back plate and two ornate arms and a large center light decorated with ornate Acanthus leaves. They span 15" across and the entire sconce is 15" in height and will protrude from the wall 8" These are very high quality and were constructed of many parts. They are super ornate and the only thing I noticed was a missing flower on each sconce. This is ... morenot even noticeable but mentioned for accuracy in description. The light sockets were removed and these were being used with candles. They could be restored back to electric sconces if you so desired.
