This is a nice vintage possibly antique Venetian blown glass chandelier with floral decoration. It is only for candles and is NOT ELECTRIC. It does have obvious damage from over the years being moved around various nicks& chips that all couldn't be pictured the worst of it being shown in pics 8& 9 where one of the scrolling pieces of glass is badly broken and a large portion missing. Estate Find Vintage Clear Glass Lamp Shade? Not a typical Shade Nicely detailed 6" tall Glass Lamp Shade No dents or cracks- Nice old item Vintage lighting item in good condition. What you see in the picture is what you get. You are going to win this great shade. I have never seen another in my career of selling vintage items and also refurbishing light fixtures. Maybe you can tell me about it if you know. It is in the shape of a typical glass shade for a fixture. It is just over 6" tall and has a fluted edge. There are flowers around the edge. The bottom has a fitter that is just about 2-1/8" in diameter. The strange part about it is that it is NOT open on both ends. It is closed on the smaller end- see 4th picture. This is a gorgeous old lantern shade. It measures 15 1/4 inches tall and about 9 1/2 inches at the widest part. It has really lovely floral details on each panel and on the top and bottom. This auction is for the shade ONLY. No chain or electrical parts included. This has a hole that is about 1/2 inch in diameter at the top to attach the socket or other parts. No damage to the glass panels at all. There is one place(pictured) where the green glass doesn't quite cover the opening. Art Noveau Painted Floral Glass Ceiling Hall Light Lamp Fixture Solid Brass Base
This fixture has a very attractive painted floral design in the Art Noveau style. It is an original antique. And the base is also orignal solid brass. The brass base has been polished and coated with a clearcoat to prevent tarnishing. The clearcoat can be easily removed if tarnishing is desired. The base is wider than today's electrical boxes, and may need to be installed using two screw expansion connectors, which are supplied. The shade is pink on the top. And white on the bottom. It is approx. 7" diameter at the widest point. There are no cracks in the shade, and the only chip is along the top edge, where it inserts into the brass base(and is covered by the base when installed. The shade has normal soiling and fading for its age, see pictures for details, but is in overall very good condition and the wear does not detract from ... morethe lamp when installed. Nice looking vintage lamp. Has a little paint on rim. Signs of wear but sits straight and no damage. Glass globe inside has a little chipping on one spot where it meets the housing. You can see condition in the pics. Solid with all nuts and screws. Just needs mount bar which is easy to find. I will try to take a picture when lighted soon. Beautiful floral pattern cut glass. Ceiling light cover. Frosted glass. Antique and wonderful addition to any ceiling. Measures 9 inches across with center hole at 1.5 inches. It's just the fixture cover and will need hardware to install but it's a wonderful antique piece. This could be considered Art Deco as it was part of my great grandmothers home and is from that era. Very versatile ... morelight ~ could work easily in the hall. Entry, bedroom, bath or kitchen! Light is all original with exception of bulb socket which appears replaced at some time in it's history. was functioning perfectly when removed several months ago. Has since been stored boxed. In dry location. Light is free of damage including any cracks. Chips, nicks, scratches, etc. There is the occasional, incidental mark on the frosted glass. These can only be seen close up and do not appear noticeable on the light at ceiling level. Chrome finish is intact and undamaged, but could use a polish if desired. The Lightolier tag was directly under the bulb. When the light was removed most of the tag crumbled from the years of heat. However the last pic still shows the classic"L" of Lightolier. Back Mount measures 6.5" across. Screw holes for mounting are 3.5" across. Chrome measures 1.75"H and Total height is approx 6" Please take a look at my other auctions this week. Milk glass interior with a white satin glass exterior that has highlights of Golden yellow. Ribbed column pattern top with a beaded band and center pattern of flowers around the middle. Ribbed puffy base. Ground glass top and bottom rim from the manufacture. They are in Nice Condition.
