It is a single mount wall sconce with 2 lights. They are bullet shaped glass shades in white with clear stripes. The mounts are brass and they have teak knobs. The lights are direction adjustable. Brass will need some cleaning and there will be wear marks from changing bulbs and use over the last 50 years or so. Base plate measures 6-3/8" across. Mounting holes are about 3-3/8" apart. Shade and brass assembly is 10" 11" with nob. Mounting arms are about 5" out from base. They have 2 points with articulation for maximum range of adjustment. Please read all terms below. The shades are marked Holophanes. XE-40 some are also marked patented 1912. This Uno shadeholder style was used 1912 and into the 20's. Some of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the ones pictured by my fingers. I don't sell items that are obviously damaged but I am not going to document every little flaw-these items are old and used but in good recondition. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 10 1/2 inches, they are about ... more16"wide and 10" top to bottom. They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are circle F NOS(new old stock) porcelain fat boy sockets-that work well with a crisp click. Easy installation ready, the mounting hardware has been upgraded with ground. Look closely at the pictures, there are minor dings-these are not new. This is a beautiful matched pair of brass. Filigreed wall sconces. Great for accent to a bathroom or hallway. They measure approximately 13" long from top to bottom, 9" wides with a 5" projection from the wall. They came from the ladies's room of the Paramount Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. The light holder on the right is not bent.I just failed to put the cover back on corrently. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have about these sconces. Vintage Antique Double Light Metal Wall Sconce
This auction is for a vintage metal wall sconce which has the capacity for two light bulbs and stands 9" tall at its highest point. It has a beautiful swag design on both the main body and the light holders as well as a drape of flowers on the body of the sconce. The cardboard"candles" are in good vintage condition. Not pristine but certainly usable. There is a turn switch toward the base of the sconce which has a crisp click to it. The fixture does need to be rewired. There is no damage/cracks in the metal. It would make a beautiful addition for any home with a vintage/antique vibe.

Ca. 1920's matched pair of double candle Victorian Gothic electric wall sconces
Another of my"absolute auctions" 99 cent start& no dreaded reserve. BARN FRESH" from Alabama(really) I did evicted the spiders(and other critters) However(comma) these have not been cleaned. Not rewired, not tested. nice and dusty with all the"original" dirt, spider webs, roach poop& patina included! These are real"Adam's Family" or the Munster's) decor. VERY COOL. Herman Munster would be proud to own these! Lots of 80- 90 year old original paint left on these fellows(see photos) No notable damage to the main support structure on these nice lamps(you will need to find a good mounting bolt for the center hole(see photos) The main structure is a cast metal. It is not cast iron as the metal is not magnetic. The"tin" bobeches(wax catchers) are bent/banged-up a bit. easily corrected ... moreby the proud new owner. The sockets are dirty. But may be OK once cleaned up. I would highly recommend rewiring these lamps. I usually do this before listing lamps/electrical items, however, I'm getting a bit lazy lately. Both sconces are marked on the backside"Pat. Applied For" Both old switches are there. they click when turned. But are untested electrically. I know. the word"untested" on Ebay usually means broken. I'm a bit different than most sellers. I bought these at a good price and can afford to have a bit of fun with this listing. Trust me. if I say untested, it most likely works. FANTASTIC Vintage HUGE Metal Pair of GOTHIC Medieval Double Candle Wall Sconces!
This is a FANTASTIC and REALLY HEAVY vintage metal pair of GOTHIC or Medieval Double Candle Wall Sconces! REALLY IMPRESSIVE! The two candles are on an ORNATE SCROLL piece that extends out 4" and is 1" by 1/2" thick. They are very HEAVY! packed weight is 20 lbs! VERY ORNATE with four arrows and scrolls! This is very THICK metal! This piece is 10 1/4" wide and the scrolling is nearly 3/8" thick! It extends from the ORNATELY DETAILED back plate 4" and the candle holders size is 4 5/8" so you can use any candle up to that size. It also has a 1/2" rim around the candles. The back plate is LONG and measures 24 3/8" and is 5 1/8" wide and 1/2" thick. The design is in relief- or raised from the back. The design is a tall tree or plant with ORNATE scrolls. Flowers and leaves coming out of it and ... morethe base is a pedestal vase. There is a large flower on top too. The back is a black velvet like material and has two holes for the nails on top. Great condition with no breaks or dents and only a slight discoloration in the metal at the top corner of one of the sconces and a dot on the other one done when made. Some tiny raised areas but also done when made. Not noticeable. I apologize for not being able to really capture the BEAUTY of these sconces but it seems although I took a LOT of photos the full length ones came out dark on the bottom light on the top! Vintage Porcelain Double Socket Wall Light
This vintage beauty measures approximately 10 and 1/2 by 4 and three quarters inches by 2 inches without bulbs 6 inches with bulbs. The colors that are painted on this magnificent piece of porcelain are burnt orange. Blues greens, and brown, the porcelain itself is ivory. There are no chips or cracks on this piece it is in like new condition but of course it isn't new it's a wonderful vintage piece. I was thinking it would look great as a addition to a work of art on your wall above it to light its way. Or above a mirror on your makeup table. The shades are correct period prismatic leaded Holophanes marked E7. This shadeholder style was used 1905 through the teens. The last picture shows this sconce in a 1912 Peters catalog with a different shade choice-Peters did not market Holophanes. A few of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the one by my thumb in the last picture. These items are old and used but in good recondition so do not expect new. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces ... morestick out about 9 inches, they are about 171/2"wide and 11" top to bottom. They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are Weber porcelain fat boy sockets-that work well with a crisp click. This is vintage pair ornate double candle/light wall sconces/fixtures. The pair are a heavy. High quality, and ornate pair of vintage wall sconces. Each sconces is beautifully designed and have to lights that would come out from the wall. I believe that they are brass by their look and due to the fact that they are non magnetic. But I am not 100% sure. Each piece measures approx 10" tall by 10 3/4" wide and would stick out from the wall approx 6 1/2" Both of the sconces are in very good to great condition. I do not see any damage other than some normal age and usage wear. There should have been prisms hanging underneath the light arms but I am sorry to say that I do not have them. EMPIRE Double Wall Sconce Electric Candle Drip Heavy Cast Working Estate Find
This is one of several wall sconces I was able to acquire from the estate of a very nice old home that was built in 1913. I am unsure of the age of the sconce. But I was told it is old. On the back it is marked PATENT PENDING EMPIRE LF. The sconce measures about 9.6" tall and is about 9.6" wide as well. It is made of a heavy metal cast and weighs about 3.6 pounds. The wiring has been replaced at some point but the old on/off switch marked BEAVER is still there with the old cloth wiring attached to it. There is some small rubbing of the paint but no chips or breaks that I can find. As I said earlier I acquired several of these as well as 2 chandeliers also marked EMPIRE. I do not know exactly how old it is but I believe it is 1930's era. Untested for operation but it has old wiring in place with porcelain recepticles and pull chains. I do not see any breaks. Damages, nor repairs. Aging and wear as would be expected on this old of an item but nothing serious. It looks nice. It is vintage and in as found condition and will look even better if cleaned. This piece dates to the mid to late 1800s. The sconce has two arms. Beautifully cast in the form of leaves and blossoms. The back of the sconce is done as a laurel wreath with a panel of black glass in the center. In the middle of the black glass is a cast profile of a helmeted Greco-Roman warrior. This decoration is quite detailed and intricate, depicting even the curls in the warrior's hair and the dog and bird in relief on the side of the helmet. The bobeches or wax drips of the sconce unscrew for ease of cleaning. The back of the sconce has a hook for hanging. The sconce is in great condition. The glass is in ... moregood shape. I have two or a pair of antique wall or ceiling light fixtures made by Markel Electric Product Inc. with marking patent date 3-29-27. They are made of cast iron. Double(two) bulb with finial hanging in center. Some wear, but original paint looks to be a light beige color on the base with light green leaves and pink/peach accent flowers. Needs some cleaning and touch up.I have not cleaned them. Original wiring, sockets and hardware seems to all be here, with the exception that one fixture is missing the nut that goes on the bolt to hold finial, which can easily be replaced for a cents on the dollar.
