My opinion is that the glass is Bohemian. It's quite beautiful with a heavy glass center that appears to be ruby red(I think, rather than"flashed" red) which is cut to clear in a geometric pattern. The fittings appear to be brass and the base/ foot is marble(with felt lining on bottom. A fairly large piece. The glass measures approximately 6" in diameter. The base is about 5" square. Not counting the finial, it is 18 1/4" tall. This piece appears to be in generally excellent used/old condition and- as you can see in the next to last pic- it works great. I don't see any cracks or damage on the cord. Either. However, I can not remove the harp. and I am not going to try to force it. The only damage I see is some green on the stem- discoloration or just needs cleaning/ polishing? Please do examine the pictures carefully but note that any bright white and/or yellow spots on pics are just glare/flash! A stunning old lamp offered at a terrific price to add to your collection or to enjoy displaying and using by itself! A nice early oil lantern. Unusual cut glass globe with brass ends. Has a metal swivel handle with hook to hang. Sits on a small brass burner. Working condition. You will need to fill with oil as I will be draining it to ship. Stands approx. 11 1/2" tall without handle. Glass is 6" diameter widest. Condition is good, glass does have some scratches to it. Also the burner does not connect to lantern, I'm not sure if it's missing some clamps or? Burner will wedge in to place, but, do not move or lift when lit as it could fall out and cause fire. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. They are quite nice and have a ruffled top. The chandelier is very lovely and elegant. It is in very good condition ... morewith a beautifully aged patina. a beautiful antique chandelier. Gilded golden brass, two rings. There are an abundance of tear-pear drop with one flower drop crystal, beautiful solid crystals not new, vintage, however. There are two small holes every other pear drop crystal, which do not have a crystal, this is because if u put in more of the tear drop crystals they are jumbled up, so i have left these two free holes, doesnt notice when hung up, simply would look nice if there were more crystals. i would think that this chandelier probably had icicle crystals which are much narrower. diameter 8" drop 5.5" Chain length 9" I sell a lot of vintage retro lights. Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. It's in very good condition considering it's age. No chips. Cracks or breaks that I can see in the metal part. The glass part on the top piece has a couple of chips. One of the pictures shows them. This item is a beautiful Antique/Vintage Ceiling Light Shade. It is pink. Frosted depression glass with cut flowers and leaves. It has cut glass scallops along the outside. There is a cut glass waffle pattern in the center. It is in excellent condition for it's age, however, there are a few flea bite chips in two of the corners and one chip on the side, barely noticeable(see pics 3,4,5& 6) There are two very small dark marks on the inside, but again, barely noticeable. Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Reduced Rare Art Nouveau Crafts Large Cut Glass Dome Chandelier 3 Frosted Shades
Hello. Welcome to our auction of this original Art nouveau brass chandelier with large central frosted& cut glass dome and 3 large pendant lantern lights suspended down from the centre piece. The ceiling rose measures 8.5" wide and 4" tall. The main frame is 17" across and 5 1/4" tall. it measures a total drop from the ceiling of 34" With each side pendant on a chain of 3 links and total length from the top if the frame of 16.5 inches. It will require a re-wire and small amount of attention to the metal links holding all the pieces. It still has the ceramic rise& fall fixture within the ceiling rose. Which now has a metal hook. Each of the pendants has the old white ceramic edged screw fittings(normal width) There is a suspended arm adjoined to the frame which holds a bulb to the centre if the dome. For the ... morepurposes of the photos I have suspended the light over a single energy bulb.not the brightest. But I think this gives a basic idea of how it could look. The glass is in near perfect condition with only a couple of light edge marks where the small screws have held it in place. The dome and other 2 lanterns are unmarked. One of the small screws is damaged, but the shade is firmly in place with only 2. Good patina and age on the metal work, could be slightly polished so the floral motifs are highlighted. This is one of several glass sconce chandelier lamp light shades up for auction(others being sold seperate auction) Each shade measures 3 5/8" tall x 4" bottom opening x 3 1/8" I believe to be Czechoslovakian. I purchase all of these shades over 25 years ago and have loved them in my home! Each are in beautiful. Good used vintage antique condition. Each have an irridescent colortone in the glass. Vintage wall light fixture cut glass Sea Foam Green works
Vintage glass wall mounted cut glass light fixture. With a sea foam green backing. It works fine and has a turn type switch on the bottom of the socket. There are no chips or cracks in the glass that I could see. There is some light flaking of the green backing as shown in the pictures. It is 5" across the base and comes out from the wall 8 1/2" there is a glass loop on the top to hang it up with. Has the original cord and vintage socket. Rather than deco, due to the smooth flowing lines in its design. It is a three-bulb. Flush mount fixture that is 17 inches in diameter overall. The base and filial are cast iron with a gold finish. This fixture is quite heavy. Weighing just about 12 pounds. The 12 inch diameter bowl is cut glass in a beautiful flowing design. The underside of the fixture says that it was made in Spain.
