They have a great hammered copper look and classic style and they are in good condition. There is a receptacle and wiring present. A modification has been made so that this lights can be turned off and on by using the switch on the top inside of that loop. This is a good adaptation for inside use. There is some very slight distress on the edges of the loop that surrounds the switch one one light. They are each about 11 1/4" high to the top of the strap. The distance from the bottom of the lamp to the top of the round loop is about 10" Distance from wall is about 7" Wall base is 4 5/8" in diameter. The hammered copper look parts have a great ... moregreen/blue patina on one of the lights and the other light has an aged patina but not the green/blue type. This is a stunning rare antique electric outdoor Gothic sconce fixture from a church. It is a large sconce made from solid bronze or copper which has obtained a wonderful patina from age. made early 1900's and is a wonderfully ornate design and has some nice weight to it. it's all wired and ready to hang It is 6 sided and has a nice tapered roof with riveted vents to release heat from the bulb. the panel sides have textured glass inserts which are orange and clear glass. the sides each have a cross fencing to avoid damage to the glass and have a bronze floral piece in the center. Vintage wall mount lighting fixture. Estate sale acquisition. Not sure if this was rewired or purchased this way. Switch works. Takes a Christmas tree type bulb. The only part that turns is the circular mounting part. Maybe this went at top of a staircase. Not sure. Porcelain light fixture is mounted in copper. Only markings I can find is KA Pat Pend, stamped on the copper. The cord is almost 8 foot long. Glass globe is included, bulb is not. There is some fading to the finish. Thanks for looking. Antique Cast Iron/Copper Victorian Wall Sconce Electrified Hurricane Oil Lamp
This lamp was found in an 1800's cottage on lake Ontario in New York with the beautiful globe seen in the photos! Beautiful ornate Victorian cast metal/copper swinging wall sconce. Marked Pat'd June7, 1887. The globe is a soft off white color with floral transfers and some hand painted additions. Simple clear glass oil lamp base-appears newer. Oil lamp in some of the photos has a filling cap- the one for sale is the same but does not have a filling cap. The lamp has long ago been electrified and will need rewiring to current standards. The wall mount/bracket plate is included with the lamp. Measurements: sconce is 12" from wall to exterior holder; The holder part for the oil lamp measures 5 1/2" diameter on each. It was late in the day and the estate had pretty much been picked over, but out of the corner of my eye I noticed this wonderful sconce on the wall in the living room. I asked the agent"Is this for sale? and up until then had considered it a'fixture' that was to be sold w/ the property, like lighting and such, but when showed her how it simply was hung on a nail and was easily removed, she was sold on the idea is was simply a decorative piece and therefore'could' be sold. So, we got it. It is pretty safe to say the item is vintage, but we are not sure if it is antique. It is very heavy and made out of a hardwood. ... moreThe wall mount portion of this item, where it hangs on the wall, looks like its been through some changes over the years. as it now had plate held on w/ Phillips screws, but you can tell that it once was mounted differently. The wall plate is kind of primitive, rough, not a'refined' as the turned candle holder piece. There is a little hook on the wall plate, I would assume that might have been for a snuffer, no missing. The piece you put the candle in looks charred, as when the candle got so low the flame torched it. The candle holder piece is actually removable, so you can, if you should be brave enough to, remove it while the candle is lit and walk with it, like medieval times, walking through your castle w/ a lit flame. The color of the Copper has a hint of pink which is only found in the older fixtures because of the purer copper used back then. Top globe is a swirled bead design globe which covers the gas fixture. The fixture is marked HP 4B Bray Special. The bottom clear globe is electric. No chips or cracks. It is Rewired. The height of the light is 21 inches from top of top globe to bottom of lower globe. The glass is in good condition with no cracks or chips. there are three pains of yellow and three panes of blue. This has been electrified which may not be original to the piece and in doing so there is a puncture hole to let the cord out in the top of the copper top one place in one place only. The light does work and there is a switch on the cord to turn it on and off and there are new phrase or breaks in the cord. this may be measures hand made. Vintage Pair Copper Jelly Jar Nautical Porch Wall Light Fixture Sconce 3454-14
Nice Pair old copper light fixtures. Has a nice nautical look with the ships wheel back plate. The jelly jar style globes are undamaged and in good condition. There is one small split in the bottom copper ring attached to the globe on one sconce. The other sconce has a small dent in the back plate and it causes one of the spokes to look bent. They are copper fixtures with a black finish. Wire and socket look good but have not been tested. Overall they are in good usable condition. Gorgeous antique cast metal slip shade stye sconce fixture. Measures about 5 ½" wide by 7 ½" long. Very good condition for age. Has a lovely pattern and nice bronze/copper finish. There is a little discoloration at the bottom tip of fixture, but I was afraid to try and clean it. I believe the piece is cast iron as it is quite heavy, but it could be cast aluminum, or spelter. This is a beautiful antique wall sconce for restoration. It has original copper socket and wiring so this would need replacing. Rare Antique Arts& Crafts Copper Wall Mailbox Lamp Sconce Craftsman Mission Highly unusal. 1920's era mailbox/exterior light combo that still has its original newspaper holder on the bottom. Patent date of Feb 1st 1927 stamped under the roof lid. This fixture features solid copper construction. With white and amber slag glass panels. There is a hinged door on the side to retrieve your mail and gain access to the light bulb. The roof of the fixture lifts up to reveal the mail slot, which also keeps the rain out. Fabulous detailing throughout, like the curled roof edge, the faux roof vent, and the nifty wire"cages" over the amber glass sections. Antique Copper with Milk Glass Shade Wall Lamp Fixture
Antique Wall Lamp Fixture Copper with a milk glass shade The lamp works. Has a working on/off switch and can either be hardwired or used with an outlet The back that connects to the wall measures 5" across. The lamp will stick out from the wall about 6 1/4" the decorative front without the shade is 8" long The milk glass shade measures 4 3/4" high. 6 1/2" across the bottom and 2" across the top The lamp has what looks like old polish residue. Like someone starting cleaning it and didn't remove all the polish or maybe someone starting cleaning the copper and stopped when they got to the hard spots. Whatever it is I like the old patina& left it alone. The lamp has no dings or dents and the shade has no chips or cracks but the lamp does have some very minor pitting but that is to be almost expected

This is a great copper mission wall sconce. The patina is excellent. The shade has dark amber highly textured glass. The texture is facing outward. The shade itself is a 5" x 5" square. Each side of the shade is 5" x 5 1/2" The top is a 6 3/4" square. The backplate is 5" x 14 1/2" There is some separation on the corners. The sconce extends 6" from the wall. Hello. Offering for your consideration a copper Art Deco wall sconce with a custard shade. The sconce measures 10" tall. 5.25" at the widest point. The shade holder is 3.25" tall. Shade has no chips or cracks. The sconce is copper, with a bronze finish. The screw cover is copper over metal, please see photo's for condition. There is crazing to the finish on the sconce. Beautiful antique wall sconce. Got this from a 103 yr old home we are renovating. Works great. Beautiful piece. Don't know what it is made of. Brass, bronze, copper, tin. Copper color finish. Light weight. Wall mount. Measures 12 1/2 inches tall over all. Thinner glass shade is 5" tall other shade is 4 1/2 inches tall. Wall mount is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Nice vintage copper porch sconce light fixture. It does have a sticker on back but the manufacturers name is hard to read. It looks like it has been painted black. The surface of the copper is scratched. Chipped, dirty, and has some oxidization. Two out of three set screws are froze in place and it is missing 1 of the set screws on the bottom. The glass globe is in good shape no cracks, chips, or breaks. The glass is wavy and has a few air bubbles in it. Overall good condition. Please look over the pictures and ask questions when needed. Wall Sconce Copper Cast Metal Vintage Antique Double 2 Light Ornate Art Deco
We found this old wall sconce at an estate auction. The two socket covers and the backplate are copper. The rest is cast metal. The scone is approximately 10” wide x 8” high x 5” deep. The backplate is 5” in diameter. The edge of the backplate is ruffled at the edge. I did wire the sconce in and it works– however– the socket on the left is very loose and definitely needs some work or replacement. The wiring looks like it was replaced at one time. The amber bulbs shown in the photos are what was in the sconces when we got it. However, they are NOT INCLUDED in the purchase and will not be shipped with the sconce. Antique copper hanging sconce wall lamp light brass tin. glass shades. Perkins
Antique wall sconce light. Hanging 3 light with glass shades. Knob to turn on lights says Perkins on it. That paddle stitch was patented in 1899 and was used in the early 1900's. These were from a 103 yr old executive home that we are renovating. I don't know a lot about them but I believe they may be copper. The metal is very lightweight not sure. Copper, brass, tin? copper/ gold tone color) Very good condition. They were all working great when they were taken down. Photo shows how they looked while they were still mounted on the wall. I have 7 available. However glass shades are not all matching and some are without shades included. Beautiful lights! Fixtures measure14 inches wide. 10 inches from top to bottom with shades on.
