Very nice art deco. Porcelain, floral design, double ceiling light fixture with a pull switch. Measures 10 1/2 inches long, and 6 1/2 inches wide at widest point.Drops down 3 1/2 inches from ceiling! Has the old original 1930s porcelain light sockets and everything is in pretty well excellant condition. Paint is nice and bright, no chips and even the wiring looks good. Questions are welcome! 3 ART DECO LIGHTS LAMPS CEILING FIXTURES WALL SCONES 1930S?
Up for auction are 3 Art Deco Style ceiling or sconce flush mount lights. I am selling these for parts or restoration as they are not complete. As seen in the photos there is one ceramic socket missing from each lamp. I planned on ordering the replacemant parts and restoring the lights but went a different route. These have paint on them from someone painting around them.also fly specks ect. I have not tried to clean them. They measure end to end 12 inches and side to side 6 inches. They are not extremely heavy but a magnet does not stick to them so they may be brass.Each has the little"tassel" looking thing that goes thru the center hole to attach to the ceiling box/fixture. 2 Vintage porcelain lights, ceiling & wall lights with flowers.
These are two vintage lights. One of them is a ceiling with a pull switch which will have to be rewired. It has pink and blue flowers. It's 6" The second matches but is a wall light. Again this will have to be rewired. From the back down it measures 7" and then where the bulb goes its 3" high. The one has a label that says porcelier. Vintage Lincoln CAST ALUMINUM SCONCE Double Pull wall ceiling light fixture lamp
Here is a nice ceiling or wall light fixture. Marked"LINCOLN 10565 3" Made of cast aluminum. Nice art deco. About 12 inches long and 6 inches wide. 3 1/4 inches thick. I do not know exactly how old it is but I believe it is 1930's era. Untested for operation but it has old wiring in place with porcelain recepticles and pull chains. I do not see any breaks. Damages, nor repairs. Aging and wear as would be expected on this old of an item but nothing serious. It looks nice. It is vintage and in as found condition and will look even better if cleaned. Two (2) Antique Vintage Ceiling or Wall Light Fixtures-Cast Metal and Brass
This auction features two(2) very unique antique ceiling or wall light fixtures. Constructed of both brass and cast ferrous metal. The base of the fixtures is brass, which is currently heavily painted over. Oxidized brass can be observed at the edge of the base and at the ceiling holes where the paint has been scratched off. The"canopy" is cast ferrous metal(a magnet is attracted to it) designed to appear like"roping" It, too is heavily painted, so I don't know the color of the underlying metal. The canopy is secured to the base with the large"nut" that also secures the light bulb socket. The light socket on both fixtures is the original Arrow 3134 socket and it visually appears to be in good. Working condition. Short pieces of wire are still connected to the underside of the socket where it was salvaged ... morefrom the ceiling. The socket appears to be constructed of copper and ceramic material. The dimensions of these two fixtures are: Base: 5-1/2" in diameter Cast Metal Canopy: 6" wide at the widest points Overall fixture height: 4-1/2" from the bottom of the base to the top of the canopy. These two fixtures are quite unique-I have not seen any that resemble them. They appear to be in excellent condition. I have not cleaned them. I have two or a pair of antique wall or ceiling light fixtures made by Markel Electric Product Inc. with marking patent date 3-29-27. They are made of cast iron. Double(two) bulb with finial hanging in center. Some wear, but original paint looks to be a light beige color on the base with light green leaves and pink/peach accent flowers. Needs some cleaning and touch up.I have not cleaned them. This auction features a unique antique/vintage ceiling or wall light fixture. Constructed of brass metal, and later painted. About 10 to 20% of the paint is still visible over the brass. The exposed, unpainted brass has a very nice patina. The area of the fixture where the bulb is installed has a nice pressed/formed decoration. see photos) The light socket on the fixture appears to be original. And it visually appears to be in good condition. Short pieces of copper wire are still connected to the underside of the socket where it was salvaged from the ceiling. These hard to find signs were removed from a High School in Ottawa. ONT prior to demolishing. They measure 7" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" with a 3 1/8" opening. Lovely Vintage Ceiling or Wall 2~bulb Lighting Fixtures Matched Pair They measure approx 12" X 7" and approx 2-1/2" high to the socket and 4" high to the tip of the Ornate Metal Centerpiece. There is a very small chip on the outside of one of the sockets. I show this in my pictures otherwise there is no damage, no nicks or chips to the fixtures. I also show the wiring of which I do not know if they work. I always have my old fixtures re-wired with modern up to code wiring by my electrician. The fixtures are a dark Ivory to a slight Golden Color. Note there is some of the Gold detailing slightly worn on one fixture due to natural wear but does not take away from the beauty.
