Offered is a wonderful set of Vintage Mid Century Cast or Wrought Iron Wall Sconce Candle Lights. Each sconce measures approx. 21” tall from top to bottom. The decorative star on top is approx. 7” by 7” The overall width is approx. 10” to 11” at the arms. Both sconces are in good vintage condition with no breaks in the ironwork. The sconce pictured on the right is missing one of the wooden drip bowls. The other bowl will screw off if desired. A large candle could still be attached directly to the screw. The base socket where the light goes has decay and corrosion. It measures 34 inches from top to bottom with the crown canopy on top and 25 inches without it on. The back plate that mounts to the wall and arm appear to be cast iron with a lovely gothic or art deco design. The uplip holder of the candle appears to be brass. Not sure but the finish is of brass. The candle extends up from the center of the tulip arm and has the original drip candle covers in great condition. The lights are wired and ready to hang. They are direct wired lights. A few very tiny paint flecks here and there. Otherwise very nice vintage condition as shown in photos. Includes the clip on fiberglass shade shown which was with the sconce when it was purchase at an estate sale.Shade has one tiny dark spot, no punctures, all edge lace is good, no breaks. Back plate alone is 7” top to bottom; edge of cast iron socket bowl sticks out about 3½” from wall.

Very detailed pattern, measuring 11" x 8 1/2" at the longest and widest points. Fits a standard candlestick. Came from our family estate in Brooklyn NY and date to the late 1800s, early 1900s. Original mounting hardware and glass chimneys cannot be found but a replacement should be easily obtained from any home improvement store. Designed to fit into a socket type cylinder mount that allows it to swivel once mounted. Beautiful workmanship! Mint condition, only tiny flecks of rust inside the holder. I believe the angel slaying the dragon would be Michael. The dragon represents Satan. Finely crafted and rich with detail. Solid cast iron with a bronze finish. Structurally sound. This large wall sconce is in good condition with some mild to moderate surface wear and rust. Most of the rust can be seen on the back side and along the tops of where the light fixtures should be. This sconce will have to be wired and the fixtures will have to be added. This is the original patina. I haven't attempted ... moreto clean it or touch it up in any way. 1920's or 1930's ornate. Floral patterned art deco cast iron wall sconce base stamped with the number'24' I have been told that this number indicates what size slip shade is required. It is not stamped with the manufacturer's name. The sconce can be hard wired into your electrical supply and operated with a wall switch, or it can be operated with the switch on the base itself. For the safest operation, it should be rewired and the socket should be replaced. This is an easy task that you can do yourself. The sconce base measures 8 1/4" high by 6 1/2" wide at the widest point. Maximum depth is about 3" The existing socket takes one light bulb with a regular sized base.

This lamp was found in an 1800's cottage on lake Ontario in New York with the beautiful globe seen in the photos! Beautiful ornate Victorian cast metal/copper swinging wall sconce. Marked Pat'd June7, 1887. The globe is a soft off white color with floral transfers and some hand painted additions. Simple clear glass oil lamp base-appears newer. Oil lamp in some of the photos has a filling cap- the one for sale is the same but does not have a filling cap. The lamp has long ago been electrified and will need rewiring to current standards. The wall mount/bracket plate is included with the lamp. Measurements: sconce is 12" from wall to exterior holder; The holder part for the oil lamp measures 5 1/2" diameter on each. This is a beautiful piece. I imagine this in a garden attached to an garden wall with couples in their vintage outfits milling around quietly enjoying the scenery. This is very old. My hubby says he can tell because of the screws they used. Vintage cast iron wall fixture. I believe it would be from the 1920's or 30's? It appears to be original paint. An off white almost light yellow, with faded pink and green accents Has a switch and an outlet. Has original wiring mounting bracket and sleeve. Marked Leviton under the sleeve. 9" tall. 5" wide at the shoulder, 3" wide at the base, sticks out 5" from the wall.

Vintage Cast Iron Eastlake Victorian Wall Sconce Electric Lamp w 3" Shade Fitter
For your consideration is a vintage cast iron Eastlake style electrified wall sconce with 3 inch diameter shade/globe holder/fitter. This is a very nice quality fixture. Please note however. That THE MOUNTING BRACKET IS MISSING. The round part that would insert into the bracket is 5/16 to 3/8 inches in diameter. The socket is good quality. It turns smoothly and works well. It has a very nice brass key. The screws which secure the shade are also brass. The cord is good. This fixture does not have any makers mark or indication where it was made(other than casting numbers'2' and'3' I think it was originally made as an electric lamp but I suppose it's possible(but unlikely) that the electrics were added later.
