We can see a predominant Art Nouveau theme with Louis XVI elements. It originally had a central gas lamp and two additional lamps at each end. The gas lamps are now converted to hold electric bulbs. This is a counterweighted lamp: the center section can be extended/retracted with a chain and pulley system. This system works as it should except the chains could be longer. The bronzework on this chandelier is excellent. With high quality construction and nicely done details. It is nicely patinated to a medium bronze color and we did not attempt any restoration or polishing. The wiring and sockets are old and in poor condition and must be replaced before use. For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed. Period Bronze & Alabaster Chandelier c1930 French Empire Art Deco Gold Ornate
Offered here is a unique bronze figural chandelier with original period carved alabaster shades. This period antique piece is in EXCELLENT condition. With only minimal chipping on the alabaster shades, and a light patina on the bronze frame. The figural caryatid busts are done extraordinarily well, with clear attention to detail by the original manufacturer. This chandelier was most likely produced in Chicago around the 1930's, while the shades appear to be Italian. This chandelier measures 41" tall by 21" wide. This chandelier has three sockets, each accepting one 100 watt Edison based bulb.

Art nouveau deco geometric nickel bronze ? Bomb chandelier Light Lustre French ?
I will try to describe this as best as I can; I am not a lighting expert but I do know a nice thing when I see it! If I am in error in any way. I welcome a polite correction and will add to the listing accordingly. This light fitting is the most wonderful shape. It puts me in mind of an archetypal WW1 bomb with it's upper fins. It is extremely heavy and although I'm not absolutely sure what it is made out of, it could be bronze that was nickle plated/ gilded, originally. It weighs just under 8kg, it is 75cms from the bottom point to the top of the loop fitting and it is 55cms across it's widest point. I haven't attempted to clean it in any way as it looks great the way it is. I'm sure a new owner would be the best one to decide how to use or restore it if need be. Apart from what I presume is obvious loss to the original ... morefinish, there is no damage that I can see, no dents or breakages. The shade sconces are a little out of shape here and there but nothing serious. Of course, the whole thing would need re-wiring and new bulb fittings installed but it will look sensational in the right room, I'm sure. There is a chain attachment at the top with no ceiling rose but I'm sure that this would not be too much of a problem to source. I do have 5 pink satin shades that came with the fitting and will post a picture anon. I think however that some frosted Muller or Degue shades would suit it better. Obviously the postage for this item is going to be very high- around £25 to £30 for Europe and certainly around the £100 mark to the USA. The fins at the top of the fixture and the 5 lower arms do unscrew. So it would be fairly straight forward to re-assemble. I am happy to post abroad but please do bear in mind the costs. I am happy of course to mail within the UK but would really prefer personal pick-up/ collection. If possible. I have acquired a handful of lighting pieces from this period. All quite different and all in need of work but they are all quite wonderful in their way; I wo

Here stylized wheat has been combined with subtle blue opalescent glass reminiscent of Tiffany's Favrile glass. The fixture has about 12" of brass chain and cord with it and includes a plug and inline switch, and has been used as a swag lamp, but it could be hot wired. It has what appears to be it's original glass globe and uses a standard base chandelier bulb. Art Deco Brass/Bronze Sconce wih Milk Glass Shade
This is a listing for a vintage gilded bronze or brass Art Deco sconce it's beautifully designed with a silky smooth white glass shade with small chips on the upper edge(see photo No 3) but it is not showing when you put sconce together. The sconce is in good antique condition with some aged patina and one screw that's not original. The measurement is approx; wall base 5" x 3 1/2" From base to the socket is 4" and shade is 5 1/2" long. The base has a mark Japan 2387. If you have any questions ask I'll do my best to answer. Carved alabaster stone. The fixture is also original, made out of bronze and richly adorned with many ornaments. Measurements: The total height of the chandelier is 29.5" 75 cm) the height could be shortened. The max. diameter of the alabaster bowl is 17.7" 45 cm) The canopy has a diameter of 5.9" 15 cm) Condition: The entire chandelier is in very good. Used condition with only light signs of wear. The bowl is free from damages. There were some cracks on the bowl, but they have been professionally stabilized. Antique large French bronze Art Deco style chandelier with figures Incredible
Up for offer a great figural art deco style chandelier. This chandelier dates back to the early 1900’s. Between 1920 and 1930. Great age patina. Shades are original to this chandelier and are in very good condition. No repairs. This chandelier is totally art deco style as you can see in the pictures. Very detailed done as well. Height is 28 ¼” If you include the chain and canopy height is 37 ½” Width is 33 ½” This chandelier still has the European wiring and will need to be rewired to work in The USA.
