This antique Slipper Shade light fixture made of bronze. Cast iron and brass is in good condition. It is missing one of the light sockets. Im not sure if it works. It is a 3 light fixture. It measures 5 inches across at the bottom and is 12 inches long from the top to the bottom where the switch is. It comes complete with three charming petite creamy white satin shades finished with gold thread passamenterie braiding. Up for consideration is a fine set of 6 bronze 2 arm wall sconces. The sconces are very thick. Heavy, robust, very masculine if I may add they are surprisingly larger than what shows in the photos. The sconces measure 12 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches deep. They weigh about 3 1/2 pound each. The sconces are bronze and are the Spanish Revival Form with a hammered texture. Antique Set (4) 2 pairs French Bronze Louis XVI 3 arm Wall Sconces Circa 1910
Up for consideration is a fine set of 4 or 2 pair of Antique French Wall Sconces. The sconces date from about 1910 or so and measure 14 1/2 inches tall by about 10 inches by 5 inches deep. This set consists of 3 arms on each piece with great casting and super casting. As with good fine quality French Sconces they are cast in many separate pieces. The backplate consists of 3 separate pieces. There is a lacey bowtie top cascading down and tying into the top of the torch with descending bell flowers in the center body of the torch. Up for consideration is a fine set of 7 double arm bronze Gothic/Tudor/Medieval wall sconces. The sconces measure 14 1/2 inches tall 9 1/2. They are bronze with two arms with a back plate that has a variety of themes. There is some panther heads that are peeping out from behind a shield. There are some Art Nouveau type floral embellishment in the center. A Gothic stained glass window type back drop with a winged Gargoyle on the bottom. Some of the sconces have a blue backplate and a few have a burgundy color. Both look to be original coloration. Stunning antique small hanging light or chandelier. 3 center lights that hold small base light bulbs. No wattage is listed. The candle covers are chipped and a bit soiled so they should be replaced. There are pretty ceramic white and gold dangling flowers with round prisms on their tops. The bottom of the light also has white ceramic finish and pretty golden finial. There is some loss of finish or possible chip in this area but appears to be more that the white finish is rubbed off here and there. Each of the 10 arms hold 2 of the ceramic flowers a piece. One on the top section and one on the lower section. There are currently 7 detached from those areas. Wiring is needed to re-hang the flowers. These date to the late 1800s and are very ornate and high quality. They are made from solid Bronze and were burnished several years ago and shine brightly. These sconces were originally electric sconces that were removed from a St. Louis mansion. They are done in the ornate Neoclassical style. They have a large decorated Oval back plate and two ornate arms and a large center light decorated with ornate Acanthus leaves. They span 15" across and the entire sconce is 15" in height and will protrude from the wall 8" These are very high quality and were constructed of many parts. They are super ornate and the only thing I noticed was a missing flower on each sconce. This is ... morenot even noticeable but mentioned for accuracy in description. The light sockets were removed and these were being used with candles. They could be restored back to electric sconces if you so desired. 3 huge Antique Art Deco Brass Bronze light fixtures hotel bank theatre office
I have other fixtures listed as well and more on the way. This is for all 3 fixtures you see. The shade is being sold separate I just put it in there for a few pics so you could see how it should look. These are very old and must have been in a lobby of a big hotel or theatre or maybe a bank. I cleaned them off in a few spots and it looks like they are brass or bronze that has been painted over. These would be beautiful if polished back to original finish. There is a ring the hinges and drops down to change the bulbs or the shade. They need totally restored and are being sold just as you see them with what you see except like I said earlier the shade is sold separately. I do not know much about it's age but I was told that it was bought many years ago in Italy and it was wired here in the United States. Shades appear to have been affected by the heat of the bulb due to close proximity, so I'd suggest using either lower wattage bulbs or replacing the shade material with something more heat resistant.
