I am not sure if it's brass or guilt metal. All the lights work. I have bulbs in all but one that burned out. In excellent condition. It can be wall mounted or just hung. It has a switch to turn it on and off and a cord to plug in. I've used it over my bed and it's great to just reach up and turn it off. Recently moved and am having to downsize. Offered here is a unique pair of cast brass and smelter wall lamps. Fitted with new stylistically appropriate damask shades. Pieces such as these were usually made in the United States, and this particular pair was made around the 1930's. These pieces have been carefully rewired, cleaned and restored by our restoration staff. The silk shades are included in the measurements provided below, and are included with the purchase of the sconces. Each sconce measures 36" tall by 4" wide by 9" deep. The hanging chain has quite a bit of tarnish and you would most likely want to replace that. Some very light tarnish here and there but nothing that is not typical with others this age. When taking this down I noticed a small piece of one of the top leaves(prism hangs from it) has been repaired at some point. Up for bid a really cute antique black glass fixture it has like a fleur de lys filigree design then like a bar in solid brass on each panel it has four panels and each has the same decoration on each panel it has brass embossed ball as decor and the bottom has ribbed designs it is 26 in to the plate it's in great conditon. 30s Vintage Brass & Bronze Ceiling Light Fixture Antique Gold Finish New Wiring
Description: This ceiling light is from the 1930s or possibly the 1920s or earlier. The material is a combination of brass and bronze. And it was made to have the appearance of a hand-forged fixture. The cast pieces have a hand-hammered texture. The fixture has been restored with new wiring and an antique gold and black finish with red and blue highlights, just as the original finish had. The light is 12-1/4 inches tall, and it measures 6-1/2 inches wide at the ceiling. The fixture takes standard base light bulbs. The"cut crystal" bulb in the pictures is included with the fixture. This fixture is in fantastic condition. There are a couple of very slight"wrinkles" in the stamped brass ceiling canopy where the cast pieces mount. Offered for consideration is a lovely Barbara Barry Baker Furniture Bauble Sconce with a gold Murano Glass ball and drop. It measures about 8" from the clear glass to the end of the drop and sticks out about 9" from the wall(see pic) The sconce is in very good condition. It needs a new candle cup and shade. Otherwise. Vintage Antique Large Brass Jeweled Prism Swag Chandelier Lamp Light Gold
Beautiful Vintage/Antique Brass Chandelier Iridescent Prisms and Filigree Designs Measures 19.5" tall and 17.5" in diameter About 140" chain. Roll switch on lower cord portion. 4 Lights This gorgeous swag lamp in a Moroccan style is absolutely stunning in every way. Intricate filigree designs accented with iridescent crystal prisms. The tips near the bottom were bent from it being stored setting directly on the ground but I did bend them back. Brass has slight tarnish here and there. Will need a cleaning or polish if desired. Inside brass rings have a light surface rust but nothing you really see from the outside. You will need to replace the little plastic sleeves that go over the light sockets but very inexpensive. 2 are dried out and cracked and one is missing. The red velvet panels were made as a replacement by previous ... moreowner as they said it was missing one of the original gold pieces. This lovely pair of sconces is intricately cast and detailed. The swirling Rococo motif features whirls and whorls, with arms in a foliate motif. Each of the bobeches and candle-cups feature a foliate motif. This pair is very rare and unusual as the sconces mirror each other, unlike most common pairs where both sconces are the same. Both sconces have very minor hairline cracks to the back-plates, and the back-plates are slightly bent outwards(we did not try to bend them back) One of the outer arms of the left sconce was repaired in the past(before current ownership) and is slightly bent backwards.
