1910's Mission Bath or Kitchen Sconces Wall Lamps brass dual double Please read everything carefully before purchasing. This buy it now price is for 1 of the 3 matching double sconces. The shades are marked Holophanes. XE-40 some are also marked patented 1912. This Uno shadeholder style was used 1912 and into the 20's. Some of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the ones pictured by my fingers. I don't sell items that are obviously damaged but I am not going to document every little flaw-these items are old and used but in good recondition. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 10 1/2 inches, they are about ... more16"wide and 10" top to bottom. They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are circle F NOS(new old stock) porcelain fat boy sockets-that work well with a crisp click. Easy installation ready, the mounting hardware has been upgraded with ground. Look closely at the pictures, there are minor dings-these are not new. The shades are 3.50" tall. There is a twist on/off switch. The shades have an"old glass" feel. There is a rim chip and resulting crack on one shade which can be turned to the back to hide it. This is a beautiful matched pair of brass. Filigreed wall sconces. Great for accent to a bathroom or hallway. They measure approximately 13" long from top to bottom, 9" wides with a 5" projection from the wall. They came from the ladies's room of the Paramount Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. Superb Antique Double Socket Brass & Green Glass Table Lamp Body Lights Up 1930s
This auction is for a Fantastic Antique Double Socket Table Lamp With Great Brass Metal Work and a Lovely Soft Green Glass Body with a Molded Relief Floral Design that lights up. The piece is in very good condition. Especially for its age, which I believe dates to the 1930s. There are no cracks or chips in the glass or breaks or dents to the metal. I have tested the lamp and it works well. Both of the top sockets which activate on pull cords and the center body that lights up by a twist knob on the base. The brass pieces have a nice patina built up. The Green Glass body is frosted and molded into a relief design of leaves or thistle. The brass at the base and above the glass has an elaborately designed reticulated Victorian pattern. The lamp has a center rod that adjusts. Allowing you to raise the main sockets a few inches. The sockets also ... moreare hinged, which allows you to separate them apart from one another depending on your lighting needs. The lamp measures about 25 inches from the base to the top of the sockets. The lamp base measures about 8 inches across. The lamp doesn't come with a finial or shade. The center body cast a very soft. Soothing accent glow. The hardware appears to be original to the lamp. There are no makers marks so I am not certain of the manufacture. The shades are correct period prismatic leaded Holophanes marked E7. This shadeholder style was used 1905 through the teens. The last picture shows this sconce in a 1912 Peters catalog with a different shade choice-Peters did not market Holophanes. A few of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the one by my thumb in the last picture. These items are old and used but in good recondition so do not expect new. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces ... morestick out about 9 inches, they are about 171/2"wide and 11" top to bottom. They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are Weber porcelain fat boy sockets-that work well with a crisp click. This is vintage pair ornate double candle/light wall sconces/fixtures. The pair are a heavy. High quality, and ornate pair of vintage wall sconces. Each sconces is beautifully designed and have to lights that would come out from the wall. I believe that they are brass by their look and due to the fact that they are non magnetic. But I am not 100% sure. Each piece measures approx 10" tall by 10 3/4" wide and would stick out from the wall approx 6 1/2" Both of the sconces are in very good to great condition. I do not see any damage other than some normal age and usage wear. There should have been prisms hanging underneath the light arms but I am sorry to say that I do not have them. Vintage brass five double arm ten light Spanish chandelier ceiling light fixture
For sale is an absolutely beautiful vintage brass Spanish style chandelier. The actual chandelier measures about 24 inches across and about 20 inches down. This part is connected to a decorative Spanish chain that is about 16 inches long and of course is connected to the matching brass canopy. This gives the total length for the chandelier hanging down from the ceiling to be about 38 inches. You could make it shorter or longer by adding or eliminating some of the links in the chain. The chandelier has five arms that have double bulb holders giving the total number of bulb holders to be ten(gives off a lot of light) The bulb holders take smaller chandelier bulbs and are covered with decorative candle covers. Some of the candle covers do show some wear around the top and one of the candle covers has been replaced(It is a little whiter in color ... morebut not very noticeable) Both things are very minor and as you can see from the pictures does not deter from the beauty or function of chandelier. The chandelier has the original cloth covered wiring and is in working order. The chandelier is a solid decorative brass with a great antique patina. It appears to be all solid brass except the canopy may be plated white metal(it is quite heavy) It has two arms with sockets and the shade holders have holes with beads hanging from them. Both electrical sockets are marked" HUBBELL" and they both have acorn pulls chains. It measures approximately 12" long from the ceiling, down to the bottom of the beads x 12" across x 9 1/2" across the ceiling canopy x 5 1/8" wide(at the ceiling canopy) This fixture is in very good condition but the hanging beads were changed at one time, to plastic. There is only minor wear to the brass and there are tiny set screws along the edge of the canopy, but two are missing(one ... moreon each end) I see no dents or breaks to the brass. It has been re-wired, at some time in the past) and works fine. Both pull chains can turn it on or off. It throws a much prettier light then the photos show and has a terrific 1920's feel. This piece dates to the mid to late 1800s. The sconce has two arms. Beautifully cast in the form of leaves and blossoms. The back of the sconce is done as a laurel wreath with a panel of black glass in the center. In the middle of the black glass is a cast profile of a helmeted Greco-Roman warrior. This decoration is quite detailed and intricate, depicting even the curls in the warrior's hair and the dog and bird in relief on the side of the helmet. The bobeches or wax drips of the sconce unscrew for ease of cleaning. The back of the sconce has a hook for hanging. The sconce is in great condition. The glass is in ... moregood shape. Each double light sconce measures approx. 12"h x 10"w x 8"d. Cast Brass(with womans face) fixtures with crystal arms. Plates, sconces, and prisms. 40) prisms are with fixtures that hang from glass plates.10 from each plate. There are( 4) light extender covers made of glass( one has rim section that has been broken( see photos.it is mostly hidden when turned to wall) Sockets are 60 Watt per. The wires for the original surface on/off switch had been cut at some previous time. A new wire was added for hard wireing. Note: I always state that everyone should have vintage fixtures rewired. These I believe are circa. Mid- Century. Condition is very good. There are no chips or cracks to crystal sections, Prisms do have a few small flea bites of some points and edges, one chip to light extender arm cover, very little oxidation to front ... moreof fixures( see womans face on one photo) The are very attractive sconces that would add simple elegance to that targeted location. Vintage antique Art Deco Nouveau ceiling light Paiste pair double brass? finial
Gorgeous architectural salvage-antique ceiling light with 2 hanging bulbs. Switches on lights have the Paiste label. Glass shades are a light champagne color and are rippled on the insides. Brown metal with gold accents-see all pics for lovely details. Plate measures 13 1/2 x 8 inches. Original cloth-covered wires so you will want to trade those out. Please see last pic-the nut for the finial bolt may need to be traded out to make the finial fit tighter. Unless you can tighten it yourself. It is perfect condition except for a hairline crack in the casting that is almost invisible. Someone braised the crack on the back as you can see form the photo. Double arm Antique BRASS WALL SCONCE RUFFLED GLASS SHADES Early 1900's Art Deco This is for an antique solid brass wall light fixtures in good condition. The leaf decoration is cast brass. The rest of the canopy is pressed brass and has a couple of small dings in the smooth part. There is no nut and threaded tubing for the center of the fixture. The clear& frosted glass shades have a lovely ruffled edge and pleat design. The pleats are frosted on one side and clear on the other side. It gives the appearance of a very light frosting. No chips or cracks and they have a lovely bell tone when flipped with your finger. The gracefully curved arms have an engraved design on them. There are 2 matching sconces listed also that look like they were used with this one or in the next room. The glass is similar but does not match the glass on this ... more1 exactly. The other sconces that are listed have clear glass that is slightly smaller. Projection from the canopy to the glass outer edge measures about 10 1/2" Height is about 8" Glass by itself is 4 1/4" tall by itself and about 7" diameter. Brass canopy is 12" x 5 1/2" by itself.

Over 80 Italian crystals. It has been cleaned, rewired, brand new white candle covers, 3 tiers with crystal rope covering the middle and lower tiers of this fine chandelier. The ten sockets each accepting 60 watts of candelabra based bulbs. This chandelier was made in around the 1950's. The measurements are 22" tall and 20" wide. This sconce has Grapes. Fish and a Tassel in it's casting. Two arms with bowl like holders. It's pretty old. The end of the tassel bows upward and is not flat on the wall. Not sure if this is how it was cast or not. Needs re-wiring, has on/off switch in the middle. I'd guess it's probably close to 100 years old.from the 20's? I'm no expert, so maybe you are? Pair of Antique Riddle Co. Lighting USA Cast Brass Double Arm Sconces
Here up for auction is what I believe to be a pair of cast brass sconces with metal arms made by the Riddle& Co. Toledo OH- USA circa 1930 or so. Stamped with manufacturer's stamp on the back. These are in excellent condition and even have the original beads that hung on the sconces. In original condition. They measure 10.25 in. W x 5 in. D- the wall piece is 10.25 in. H.
