Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. 3 Chain Ceiling Light: Fixture Vintage Shade w/ Reproduction Brass Fixture Base
This dainty little gem of a ceiling light fixture has a maximum drop of approximately 14 inches and is 10 1/2 inches at its widest point. The vintage globe is clear glass and it is painted on the inside with a frosted type paint finish. It features a decorative floral pattern that is molded into the glass. The solid brass fitter base with a nickel finish is made from brass kit parts and features a new porcelain socket, new wires, new brass, and new mounting hardware. The fixture is showing it's age with the vintage glass shade having some chipping around the area where one of the chain rests in the hole and wear in the finish, along the top of the glass rim as well as a small scratch on the bottom outside side of the shade. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain. Antique Brass Light Fixture Hanging Pull Chain Hallway Closet Stairway Ceiling
Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. Vintage Chain with Brass Hook For Light or Chandelier or 1930's type glass shade
Vintage/ antique chain with hook for hanging a light shade or similar. The top/ hook is brass and unscrews. I gave it a light polish so I could see what it is made of. It will polish up a lot more. I don't know if the chain is brass or some kind of metal. I haven't attempted to clean it. The hanging hook isn't the finest moulding I've seen. Please use the photos as part of the descriptipion. Beautiful little sconce. And has a very unique acorn finial on the pull chain. The set screws on the pierced top fitter are pretty little flowers, and all three are present. It was in use in our 1891 home until just recently when we opened up a wall to the reading nook it was in to make a master bath. I suspect it was there from when the house was wired to replace the gas lights. Our town. Bellefonte, was the second town to be electrified after Edison's home town! The sconce is wired and ready to go. But please an electrician or knowledgeable person double check the wiring to your satisfaction since it is not a new piece. The wiring is cloth covered, but doesn't look original, so may have been rewired more recently. The piece is marked 250V Hubbel 250W on the socket. And Pat Applied For on the arm. Brass Antique Victorian? Hubbell Candlestick Light Acorn Pull Chain Bracket
This listing is for an unknown age light fixture. This is a rather beautiful light fixture that most likely came from a larger chandelier or maybe a part of a wall light. It is working and has been tested. The bulb fixture was made by Hubbell. The bulb fixture fits on a bracket with grooves probably originally to hold a glass shade. The bottom bracket does have a ornate design leading to a victorian age but the pull chain and cord lend themselves to the 1920s-40s. Lastly. Someone painted some silver spots on the fixture. The bottom knob for the pull chain looks like a miniature Acorn which is a beautiful accent. The fixture measures 10.25 by 2.5 by 2.5 with a 8 foot cord. Beautiful antique pull down oil lamp. Original finish. Ornate stamped leaf designs grace the bands. Highly detailed base finial. The spring chain retractor is stamp dated: PAT. AUG. 23. 92. A true classic antique. The measurements are approximate. All sides are shown. Click and enlarge the image for a detailed view. Shown lit up so you can imagine how wonderful this light will look in your home. The total hang when fully extended from the top of the ceiling cap to the base of the bottom finial is 50" When fully retracted the hang is 32" Pulls down and retracts like it should. Movement is a bit stiff. A drop or two of oil might be a good idea. The bands. Base finial, and the smoke cap are solid brass. The chains are not brass. All the parts have a snug fit. Matching glass prisms. Overall each is 3 1/4" long. The top band has ... moreten double glass prisms. The base band has thirty double prisms. A few have minor fleabites on the tips. The glass shade has a 14" diameter. Fits nicely into the band. Wonderful matching strawberry and leaves design on both sides. Very light wear to the design. No cracks or chips to the shade. Vintage solid brass one light hanging light fixture. Ceiling bell is 5" across by 4 1/2" long and the lovely milk glass globe is 6" across by 3 1/4" long. It appears someone started to restore it. The bottom of the chandelier and light sockets are brass. The top is metal and has some rust. The chain appears to be cast iron and has some light rust were the paint is worn. There are two holes for mounting the arms for the light sockets. The pipe that hold the two halfs of the chandelier together is a little longer than needed. There are a few very small ding in the brass. The pan measures 12" in diameter. Beautiful antique pan chandelier. Solid brass. Re-wired. Includes a cast iron mounting bracket. Very nice. The measurements are approximate. All sides are shown. Click and enlarge the image for a detailed view. The overall hang to the bottom of the finial is 22" Outside diameter across the arms is 18" The ceiling cap is 3 1/4" x 5" diameter. The fitters are a standard 2 1/4" diameter. Ornate quality workmanship. Cast Inside the arms: PAT'D NOV 1920" Solid brass top to bottom including the chain and the fitter screws. The only part not brass is the cast metal flower medallion. All parts have been buffed and clear coated. All fitter screws in place. Good threads. One socket bell cover and ring have been replaced with near identical parts. Shown. All joints are snug. Standard size paddle switch sockets. Sockets ... morerated at 250w-250v. Strong clicks. The inside body of the sockets are ceramic. A striking addition to your home. Re-wired. The modern bulbs shown are not included but are available at most hardware stores. A few minor character nicks.
