I had a box of unused older sockets that has the string type pull so the socket was a perfect companion to the fixture since the canopy piece does have an opening hole for the string to come through) The sockets shown in the last photo are not included with the auction listing. Box was pictured to show the socket used as a replacement is new old stock. No chips or cracks to the glass, the fitter end opening is 4" Shade is about 8 1/2" in diameter. About 6 1/4" tall. It has a very soft white/frosted coloer with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in really good vintage condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other beautifully. The shade measures about 15 1/4 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. There is minimal wear which only compliments the overall vintage look of this stunning chandelier. This style of shade is very hard to find in this large size. The chain is new and is aluminum-which compliments the other metal pieces quite nicely. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era. There are four new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs as well as all new wiring. This amazing light fixture can be adjusted to hang between 16 and 24 inches from the ceiling. 1930s Vintage White Art Deco Bubble Glass Ceiling Light Fixture With New Wiring
Description: This amazing light fixture has a thick white glass shade with a bubble-like pattern. The bottom center and rim are clear glass. One could interpret the shade as a flower blossom. The ceiling canopy and shade holder are also glass. The canopy has a bubble/hobnail pattern. The shade is suspended from the holder by three bead chains. This fixture takes a single standard size light bulb. And has been upgraded with a new porcelain socket and new wiring. The light hangs down 9-1/2 inches to the bottom of the shade. Which measures 10 inches wide. The shade is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Vintage Industrial Pair Paulding White Subway Tile Porcelain Art Deco Sconces
For your consideration is this great 1920's pair of white porcelain powder room sconces with shades. These sconces were manufactured by Paulding. Have nice detail and their original shades. They are in good condition and have pull chain on/off switches, both do click. The actual sconces are 6 1/4" tall by 4 5/8" wide, with shades they stand out from wall 7 1/2" As shown in photos, the sconces are not quite as pure white as the shades. They do both have plug-ins, the left hole is longer than the right, for modern plugs. Please notice, one of the pull chains is shorter than the other, these could be extended with a bit more chain, but probably would be hardwired to switch. As shown in the last photo, there is a small chip in the porcelain on the bottom behind the shade. The inside lip of the shades have the customary roughness ... moreseen in this type of sconces, maybe a few small chips, but I think they are just a bit rough from manufacturing. Description: This beautiful ceiling light fixture has a thick glass shade. In what I would call an off-white or ivory color. The rim of the shade and bottom center are clear. The center column is pressed glass with six new hand-cut Czech crystal prisms. Most of the metal components are new with a chrome finish, including the ceiling canopy which is adorned with a vintage decorative glass piece. The fixture hangs down 13-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 11-3/8 inches in diameter. This is a two-light fixture with brand new porcelain sockets and new wiring. Antique Art Deco French White Frosted Glass Chandelier. Here is an Antique Art Deco White Frosted Glass Chandelier. It is not signed. It has a great design. The shade is large and heavy. It measures 16" in diameter and weighs 11 pounds. It has only been cleaned with Windex to inspect for damage. There are a few small chips on the rim and mounting holes. The lighting fixtures cover any chips by the mounting holes when assembled. The chains are 21" long. The black light switches are marked Perkins. There is some white marks that maybe paint and some black rubs on the shade. The wires are frayed. The ceiling cap has been painted at one point in its life. Description: This ceiling fixture has a great 1930s vintage glass shade. The shade is white with clear rings and a clear bottom center that has fine concentric rings. The glass has turned a slight amethyst or"sun purple" color as it is sometimes called. Certain types of old glass can turn this color with age. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. The chrome shade holder is new. With a new porcelain socket and new wiring, including a ground wire. The light hangs down a total of 7-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 8-1/4 inches wide. The shade has a 4" fitter. This fixture takes a single 60 watt bulb. There are rough edges and slight discoloration where hardware would be attached.And one side of the shade has some discoloration.maybe from water dripping on it. This auction includes a set of two vintage small white art deco glass shades which have rough cut top and bottom rims. I have seen these type of shades on the old chrome wall sconce fixtures. They measure approximately 4 1/4" tall(one is slightly taller) By approximately 3" across the top openings. The smaller fitter ends measure just over 1 5/8" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the small fitter rims which is typical on rough cut shades. What a wonderful piece. Art deco ceiling light fixture. Not sure of the age. The thick milk white glass is perfect with a zig zag 3 tiered design. The base is looks like it was sprayed at one point silver with rust color now coming through. I personally like that looked. But the new owner can repaint any color they choose.
