The milk glass cylinder shades slip on and cover the sockets. There are two light bulbs included. I tested them and they are both currently working. The metal brackets used for securing the fixtures are also included. These are in nice condition overall. There is some age wear. The chrome may shine up more with a polishing. There are some minor paint drippings that are around the perimeter. I have only lightly dusted these. The finish is a little dull. But there is no pitting, rust or damage. These do have different switches on them. I haven't tested these, I am really not handy with electrical wiring. The sockets are ceramic, so they are likely original. The milk glass looks good. There are no cracks in the shades. The bottom rim has the typical roughness of a glass shade. The bulb sockets on these take a standard size. These measure 17" long and 2.5" wide. They will extend from the wall about 2.25" These are sure to make a dramatic impact in any deco. Industrial, or machine age decor. Vintage Art Deco Skyscraper Milk Glass Globe Light Fixture
This auction is for a beautiful vintage art deco Skyscraper light fixture with a milk glass globe. All original including the wires which my need to be replaced as they are very old. The globe is in great condition for its age and is free of any chips or cracks. The copper pieces of the fixture are also in great condition but do have some rough spots on the inside due to its age. This is normal. Take a look at the pictures and you will see just how stunning this light fixture really is. Measures approximately 15-1/2 inches tall from end to end. The shade measures about 11" tall and 9" across. I assure this item will be package very carefully to ensure a safe arrival. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking and good luck! Antique Art Deco Skyscraper Light Fixture - Milk Glass - Vintage Chandelier
Available here is an antique art deco light fixture. It has a beautiful skyscraper style milk glass shade. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It has a 6" fitter. The shade only stands approximately 11.5" tall and is approximately 12" across at its widest. The fixture looks to be brass and has been partially painted over. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. Vintage Art Deco school store ceiling light fixture beehive milk glass shade
For sale is a vintage art deco metal school store ceiling light fixture with an awesome milk glass shade. It is a vintage light but is new since it still is in the box it was bought in and has never been installed. It has been stored in the attic for many years and the lady discovered it and sold it. The fixture with shade measures about 12 inches down from ceiling and about 9 inches wide at widest part. The fitter of the fixture measures about 4 1/4 inches and the opening on the shade is about 4. The fixture is metal painted a very dark brown almost appearing black and a white section holding fitter to canopy. It is in excellent condition. The fixture has a new bulb holder and the original wiring that is in good working order. The wiring does appear to have dried out some and is a little brittle being on the attic so long. There is the usual light chipping on the ground base but no cracks of obvious defects. Large vintage/antique milk glass chandelier. On pendant pole. Total fixture and shade measures 46 inches, from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The shade alone measures 10 inches tall and has a diameter of 16 inches. Would be great in a large room or area with a taller ceiling. The wiring has been redone, at some point, and the light fixture is in good working order, but, as with all vintage electrical items, should always be checked for safety. VNTG PR ART DECO HOLLYWOOD REGENCY FLUTED MILK GLASS WALL SCONCE LAMP LARGE 20"
We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of vintage wall lamps/sconces. This pair is rather large and measures just under 20" tall. They feature ornate metal frames with large top and bottom finials. They retain their original glass shades. The shades are milk glass with fluted pattern. The lamps have on/off switches located on each back plate. They have been painted. At some point, in silver and black which is quite striking against the white glass. The sconces are in good condition with some minor evidence of age(1940s to 1950s) The shades are in good condition with some minor chipping on the fitters. One does have a chipped area on the fitter. There is a small, hairline crack just below the chip. However, it does appear that an adhesive was applied to repair the chip and stop the crack. This is not visible when the shade is on ... morethe sconce. The frames are good with some minor wear to the paint which can be resolved. The wiring is good, but it is the original, cloth wiring. The sockets are porcelain. The sconces are working but you may want to update the wiring. This is a very nice pair of sconces with great character. Each sconce measures 19.75" tall. Set of 5 Vintage Art Deco Wall Sconces. Metal frames. Milk glass globes. Measure 12" height, 10 1/4" wide on the top, 5.5" deep. One of the globes was broken at the bottom where it fits into the metal fixture. A piece was glued back on and the corner is missing. It can't be seen when the globe in on the fixture. This auction includes a set of two vintage 1920's Moe chrome ceiling fixtures with ribbed art deco milk glass shades. And mounting hardware as shown. They measure 11 1/4" across the fixture bases. By approximately 5 1/2" tall to the top of their mounting hardware in the center of the glass. Both are in very good vintage condition. there is some expected wear. a nick to the inner edge of one porcelain socket. maybe some surface rust on the interior and back side of the fixtures. I haven't cleaned them being I don't want to cause damage. So I don't know exactly how much will come off, but they will definitely look better after the buyer cleans them(they have dirt and paint on the fixtures) Bright spots are only light reflections. Large Art Deco Industrial Diner Milk Glass Shade Ceiling Fixture
The fixture is probably pot metal that was plated with copper. It is worn and distressed. But I have left it alone, as it looks interesting and this sort of shabby appearance can compliment some decors. Otherwise, it's easily spray painted. The screws attaching the shade to the piece are new and gold colored, but I've left them alone to leave these aesthetic decisions up to buyer as well. It comes installed with a brand new socket, replacing an old, loose one with dangerous frayed wiring. I have given the shade just the briefest wipe down since it's large and fairly rare and I don't want to tempt fate. So there is a bit of detritus inside of it- see photo#12. It has some bubble marks(see photo# 5) that seem to be part of the glass itself, but is otherwise in very nice shape. The fixture is 4 3/4" high and 5 5/8" ... morewide with a 4 3/8" fitter. The shade is about 7 3/4" 8" high and about 8" wide. With fluted milk glass sides and an intricate clear glass bottom. The shade has a 3 7/8" fitter that goes easily into the fixture; please be sure that it is firmly and evenly in place and tighten the screws down completely to ensure that the glass does not slip out of the fixture when mounted. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions. As the large majority of my items range in age from mid-century modern to over a hundred years old and are sold in used, as-is condition. Thank you!

Antique Art Deco Chrome Milk Glass Wall Mount Bathroom Vanity Fixture Sconce
A nice example of pieces of this era. Protruding about 6 3/4" and 4 3/4" at its widest point, where it is mounted to the wall. The shade is about 4" X 4 3/4" wide with a fitter of about 3 1/8" 3 1/4, which is held in place by well-fitting, sturdy screws. All measurements are good faith estimates, since determining size of irregularly shaped items can be tricky. In nice, used condition for a piece of this age. Thank you!
