The frame has been stripped and refinished with a brass bronze finish. And a sa tin sealer. The brass sockets are much better than what is offered in todays market along with the fi xture. The wiring has been replaced. The fixture hangs 29 inches with the nice solid squared chain. And hangs with three arms that attach to the center bell. For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. Period Bronze & Alabaster Chandelier c1930 French Empire Art Deco Gold Ornate
Offered here is a unique bronze figural chandelier with original period carved alabaster shades. This period antique piece is in EXCELLENT condition. With only minimal chipping on the alabaster shades, and a light patina on the bronze frame. The figural caryatid busts are done extraordinarily well, with clear attention to detail by the original manufacturer. This chandelier was most likely produced in Chicago around the 1930's, while the shades appear to be Italian. This chandelier measures 41" tall by 21" wide. This chandelier has three sockets, each accepting one 100 watt Edison based bulb.

Art nouveau deco geometric nickel bronze ? Bomb chandelier Light Lustre French ?
I will try to describe this as best as I can; I am not a lighting expert but I do know a nice thing when I see it! If I am in error in any way. I welcome a polite correction and will add to the listing accordingly. This light fitting is the most wonderful shape. It puts me in mind of an archetypal WW1 bomb with it's upper fins. It is extremely heavy and although I'm not absolutely sure what it is made out of, it could be bronze that was nickle plated/ gilded, originally. It weighs just under 8kg, it is 75cms from the bottom point to the top of the loop fitting and it is 55cms across it's widest point. I haven't attempted to clean it in any way as it looks great the way it is. I'm sure a new owner would be the best one to decide how to use or restore it if need be. Apart from what I presume is obvious loss to the original ... morefinish, there is no damage that I can see, no dents or breakages. The shade sconces are a little out of shape here and there but nothing serious. Of course, the whole thing would need re-wiring and new bulb fittings installed but it will look sensational in the right room, I'm sure. There is a chain attachment at the top with no ceiling rose but I'm sure that this would not be too much of a problem to source. I do have 5 pink satin shades that came with the fitting and will post a picture anon. I think however that some frosted Muller or Degue shades would suit it better. Obviously the postage for this item is going to be very high- around £25 to £30 for Europe and certainly around the £100 mark to the USA. The fins at the top of the fixture and the 5 lower arms do unscrew. So it would be fairly straight forward to re-assemble. I am happy to post abroad but please do bear in mind the costs. I am happy of course to mail within the UK but would really prefer personal pick-up/ collection. If possible. I have acquired a handful of lighting pieces from this period. All components are yellow color bronze when stripped) The hand painted sconce is made in the 1920's and measures 10 3/4 inches in height. Has a 7 1/2 inch wide span and a 4 1/2 inch depth from the wall. There are no breaks or chips in the bronze and the lamp retains its original vintage"candle" socket covers in good condition. Each arm has a pull chain that works separately and it has the original wiring that works when lit(see photo# 2) but it is recommended to use one wall switch when installed properly. The shade is being sold separate I just put it in there for a few pics so you could see how it should look. These are very old and must have been in a lobby of a big hotel or theatre or maybe a bank. I cleaned them off in a few spots and it looks like they are brass or bronze that has been painted over. These would be beautiful if polished back to original finish. There is a ring the hinges and drops down to change the bulbs or the shade. They need totally restored and are being sold just as you see them with what you see except like I said earlier the shade is sold separately. Art Deco period hammered light fixture with 5 light holders. Chain and canopy. There are also 2 matching wall sconces. They look like a cross between bronze and copper. They are far more beautiful than the pictures show. All rewired and ready to be hung. These are out of a grand home in Indiana. The chandelier measures 18" across the bottom. The body is 21" long and when you include the chain and canopy the drop is 39" It is much more attractive than the pictures show. There are no breaks, cracks or damage that I can find. It is about 20 lbs. There are also two matching sconces. The sconces measure 9 1/4" tall and 4 3/8" wide. There are no cracks, breaks or damage. I believe these are cast iron as they weakly attract a magnet. All the hardware is present with the exception of one of the little turn on-off buttons on the backside of one of the candlestick tubes. Up for offer today an amazing table lamp. Made out of good quality bronze. Very nice detailed heron bird statue. This lamp dates back to the 1930’s. Very nice age patina. The shades gives a very cozy lights. Shade is also signed with“Muller Frères luneville” as you can see in one of the pictures. Art Deco Bronze Wall Sconce Sign Jack and Jill NBC Way Awesome
Hi. I have this really cool looking wall sconce, or sign perhaps that is a bronze or bronzed material. Very heavy with an ice cream cone shape and a flat top that tapers to a narrow point. It has Jack and Jill at the top and NBC vertically. I haven't been able to connect the two. This might have been from an old building that was razed or repaired and this was kept as a memento. Some surface wear and a scratch or two and some residue on the back. 5.5" tall and roughly 3.5" at the wide at the top. Thanks for looking.

2 Bronze Art Deco Slip Shade Sconces by Midwest Lighting Company 1920's - 1930's
This is a beautiful pair of 2 art deco cast bronze sconces which I believe were manufactured by Midwest Lighting Co. circa 1920-30. They have a very nice warm coppery gold color to them. The sconces are slip shade in design but I do not have the shades themselves. The sconces have an abstract floral pattern to their design. Each sconce measures about 10 1/2" tall. And each is about 5 1/2" wide. The sconces are bronze and are quite heavy- about 1 1/2 pounds each. There is a bit of paint on the sides of each sconce. But this can be easily removed with fine steel wool. I removed some from one sconce and polished it up a bit and it came out very well. The sconces will need to be rewired and will need brackets to mount them to the wall. Cast Bronze 6 Light Brown Tip Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier
Rare cast bronze art deco 6 light slip shade fixture from the 1930's. Body was disassembled. Cleaned, reassembled, and rewired. Retains the original bottom shade and finial. Shades are in very good condition and look great when installed and illuminated. One shade has a chip on the exterior. See images 9 and 10. One shade has a darker brown tip than the other 4. See images 3 and 4. THis shade also has a chip on the bottom near the point. See image 5. Two shades sit slightly elevated in the V shaped pocket. It has always been like this. The body could probably be filed to allow it to fully seat, but it never bothered me while hanging in my house so I left it alone. Bottom shade does have chips as well. The worst one is shown in image 7. There is a second on the opposite side that is more like a flea bite. These are from a previous owner ... moreover tightening the two bottom set screws that retain the shade. Although a finial is pictured on this chandelier it is not included because a customer stole it from the chandelier while it was hanging in my shop. I have a ton more images of this fixture I can email to anyone interested. Fixture drops 40" from the ceiling and has a width of 21" Fixture was rewired with period appropriate white cloth covered wire. Both wires are white and one has a gold tracer. Gorgeous antique cast metal slip shade stye sconce fixture. Measures about 5 ½" wide by 7 ½" long. Very good condition for age. Has a lovely pattern and nice bronze/copper finish. There is a little discoloration at the bottom tip of fixture, but I was afraid to try and clean it. I believe the piece is cast iron as it is quite heavy, but it could be cast aluminum, or spelter. This is a beautiful antique wall sconce for restoration. It has original copper socket and wiring so this would need replacing. This would take a slip shade, which unfortunately was not with it when found. There is no maker name or other markings that I can see. For your consideration is a beautiful. Scarce. Cast bronze, American art deco chandler made between 1930 and 1935. This is not just a lovely slip shade fixture with slag glass but actually a highly sought after“brown-tipped” or“soleure” pattern five-light slip shade fixture. Somewhere along its 85 year journey the five slip shades were lost or broken and five light amber slag covers were put in. This chandelier looks fantastic with the slag but it you ever dream of having the brown-tipped chandelier. You will have everything but the five slip shades. Notice the lower center brown tipped shade is already provided. But if you never go for the brown-tips. You will find this chandelier with very intricate details and beautiful finial. The finish is original with bronze and gold along with other color paint. It also has original wiring.
