Antique Vtg Art Deco PETITE Ceiling Light Fixture Unique Scalloped Glass Shade
Exquisite Antique Ceiling Light Fixture This listing is for a unique antique ceiling light fixture. The entire fixture extends just 8 1/2" from the ceiling. The ceiling canopy measures 4 3/4" across. The frosted ribbed shade measures 5 1/4" tall. It features a fantastic scalloped edge; which gives it a square cut layered appearance. Complete with the original three tier brass finial. The canopy paint shows some light wear; and the harp is oxidized. The shade has a small crack/chip where the finial rests. It should have a washer between them. The glass shade measures 10" in diameter and other than a couple of small nicks on the top rim. Has no chips or cracks. The fixture hangs about 11" measuring from ceiling to finial. The white glaze looks super, with only a few small flea bites. The fixture takes 2 standard base bulbs and no max wattage is noted on the fixture. This is a hard-wired fixture and I've not been able to test it. It appears to have all original cloth insulated wiring. In good condition. R eplacing the electrical is at the descretion of the buyer. The decorative glass that extends from the canopy is beautiful. With no chips or cracks. The canopy's design matches the glass shade ... morebeautifully. Sconce wall plate is 9 1/4" x 5 1/4" Overall the sconce is 11" high and extends 6" out from the wall. Ornate solid brass casting. No cracks. Chips, or repairs. A few very minor nicks, scratches, and a touch of tarnish. Deep rich patina. Switch is marked: HUBBELL 3A. 125V-1A250V. Insulater is marked: 660W HUBBELL 250V" On/off turn switch. Tested. Works. VTG 20S ANTIQUE MISSION ART DECO ARTS CRAFTS CYLINDER GLASS PORCH LIGHT FIXTURE
Gorgeous antique light fixture. Featuring a cylinder amber glass shade in a brass fixture, four rods with finials on both ends hold the glass shade in place. The fixture is solid brass, it has a brass toned paint on it which is original, this could be stripped however and this would really shine. It has some minor stress marks and dents typical of brass, but nothing major, some wear but could easily be used and displayed as it is. It has been rewired with a porcelain socket and new wiring and could take a 100 watt bulb if desired. Original mounting hardware. The only replacement part on this aside from the socket is the finials on the bottom of the fixture which are new, solid brass- one original finial was missing so they were replaced. The three original finials will be included. The glass shade is particularly attractive on this, it has ... morea leaf texture and a slight iridescent color, very pretty. The fixture measures nearly 24" across; and extends 27" from the ceiling canopy. The canopy measures 4 3/4" across. Certainly one of the nicest I've seen; in detail and condition. There are a few larger crystals, but most of them are the same. size. You can string them any way you like when you receive the light. Vtg/Antique Art Nouveau/Deco Cast Metal Ceiling Light Fixture~Ivory
You are bidding on one lovely Art Nouveau lightweight cast metal enamel finish ceiling light fixture. This fixture is ivory. I think it has been painted because I am also listing a matching fixture with the same sweet swirled design accented in pale aqua and rose pink. The base of the fixture that fastens to the ceiling is 6 3/8" in diameter. It has 2 holes where it screws into the ceiling. The part that holds the socket/bulb has a decorative folded back design. Winning bidder will need to have the fixture rewired as the wires are cut. There is also a little bit of paint here and there where ceiling paint got on it. Here is an antique four-shade hanging ceiling light fixture made of brass with soldered seams/ joints from the 1920's or 30's. With 4 etched green glass shades. About 26" tall, and includes the top brass plate to hide the electrical junction box. In good condition, the brass has not been touched or cleaned and has the uniform tarnish of 80- 90 year old brass. The green glass shades are 5-1/5" high with 4-1/4" dia bottoms, with an etched pattern(all 4 shades the same) and note that all have some small chips and one shade has a crack from top to bottom. The 4 bulb sockets are original and have mica insulation washers that I tried to show in photos. Please note that this may well need rewiring, has the original cloth-covered wire, and some of the set-screws to hold shades in holders are missing. Beautiful antique wall sconce for restoration. Made of either copper or bronze, I cannot tell for sure. Switch was made by Leviton, back of sconce only says design and mechanics have patent and USA, no maker name that I can see. It measures approx. 13" in length, and is 6 3/4" at widest point. Socket says 125 to 250 V. This would take a slip shade, which unfortunately was not with it when found. Opening at top that shade would go down into(widest part) is approx. 5 1/4" It has original patina, but where some of the patina has rubbed off I see a some color to the metal, looks copper. Please view the photos and judge for yourself. The turn switch turns and clicks fine. Original cords were cloth covered. Some rust on lower backside. Love the design detail! Here is a very unique antique art deco ceiling light fixture from the 1920's or 30's. Of a plaster and iron base of a large size of 16" X 24" and an 8 panel glass pyramid shade that is frosted and has a heavily etched design, put together like a leaded glass shade with soldered lead came. All original, is in'for restoration' condition, with lots of original paint(and some is missing or dried) and no major damage- note a few small dings in plaster base, the crown at pyramid peak needs attention, some oxidation to lead, and one tight crack in one of the small wedge glass panels(the other 7 panels are in excellent shape) with original wiring and sockets that will need replacing I'm sure. NOTE that is not working, I lighted with another lamp so you could see what it should look like when lighted up.
