Antique Vtg Arts & Crafts Mission Slag Stained Glass Chandelier Fixture Leaded
A vintage antique ceiling fixture/ chandelier composed of slag glass and textured glass panels. One of the dark purpled toned slag panels is cracked as is one of the white glass panels, and one seam shows some slight seperation going from the top to bottom. Wire harness and switch are currently working, but the harness shows wear, decay and distress and I would recommend replacing it. Was rewired in the past also, it is not the original wiring harness.

It's painted off white though this is chipping away. Glass panes have a ruby red diamond center surrounded with yellowish orange and pink pieces. Lantern has a door with latch. MEASUREMENTS Approx 23" long x 13" at widest. CONDITION Item shows a lot of wear including chipping paint and surface rust. The bottom glass piece is broken. The top glass piece is missing, two panes have fallen out, and one pane is missing a yellow piece of glass. The frames of the two panes that have fallen out are a little misshapen. Antique stained glass/ brass hanging light fixture cieling mount complete
Up for consideration is an antique stain glass ceiling mount light fixture with brass details. The glass is all intact. There are paint specks on the glass and the entire light needs a cleaning. I will leave that to the new owner. The light is 8 inches tall and 6.25 inches square at the bottom of the 4 pieces of stain glass. The ceiling mount plate which is brass is 4.75 inches round. The colors in the stain glass are reds/greens and blue greens. The pull string still works it clicks on and off. The main color is red. I'm not sure of the age but would guess late 1800's early 1900's.Because of its age I'm sure there are minors scratches etc. But for the age it's in remarkable condition. This Antique Large Stained Glass Leaded CHANDELIER is Damaged and NEEDS REPAIR- Estate DESCRIPTION: First. The measurements: Approximately 22 inches in diameter, 15 inches tall and the bottom band is 6 inches. It is made of tan and brown stained glass with four designs in the bottom band that measure 5 inches wide and have green, gold, orange and red coloring. In the top center is simple wiring with a bulb holder that has a piece broken off the edge(does not appear to adversely affect the use) and a metal round piece with screws 4 inches in diameter that appears to hold a globe which is missing. This is part of an estate I am selling. I was told that the owner brought it with her when she moved to the retirement community many years ago, that it was broken during the move and she kept it intending to have it repaired"someday. If you ... moreknow how to make the repairs, you can end up with a rare expensive chandelier at a small fraction of the value. CONDITION: I'll start at the top and describe the condition as best I can. Realizing I can describe what I see, knowing absolutely nothing about stained glass chandeliers. It appears to be handmade; however, quite nicely. Beginning at the top round: There are ten pointed pieces plus two that are missing. The remaining ten appear to be in very good condition. The lead is peeled back on one side of one piece but it's all there and can be re-attached. Next. There are four tan rows which all appear to be in good condition. I did not find any cracks or any loose. Following on the top is a brown row around the edge. One piece is broken at the corner(about 1/2 inch by 1 inch) but it's all still here. Five other pieces need to be re-attached on one or more sides; however. The pieces are all there. This finishes the top. Now. For the bottom 6 inch band. All four of the designs are in good condition except two needs to be straightened. I did not find any broken pieces in these designs. Antique Stained Leaded Glass Fruit Pattern Hanging Lamp Shade Chandelier hanger
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage/ antique circa 1920s Stained Glass Hanging Lamp Shade. This is a True Vintage Shade. Not a repro or current remake. The fruit pattern is one of the most copied of stained glass designs but this one is a true vintage original dating to circa 1920s. The shade measures approx 20-1/2" or so diameter. The shade features a Fruit pattern, with the pieces of fruit 3 dimensional. There are 3 grape clusters, 3 apples, and 3 pears. The glass has wonderful coloration and the fruit are blown out- instead of flat pieces are 3 dimension. The shade was made with copper foil which is one of the indicators of a true vintage lamp. Current day shades have inferior glass and much heavier leading which is not done with copper foil. Overall condition is Excellent considering its age and type. I see 2 very tight hairlines ... moreand one piece that has a manufacturing striation line which is not a crack. This is being very fussy. The shade is tight. The leading excellent. Some minor wear to the finish on the leading which shows true age. I am not positive but if the upper crown section removes. I will do so when packaging. ANTIQUE FRENCH SPANISH GOTHIC IRON 3 LANTERN LAMP CHANDELIER AMBER STAINED GLASS
Very beautiful. Antique to vintage, French or Spanish, Gothic style, chandelier. Features a large, ornate, scrolled wrought iron frame which is black with gold gilt accents. The chandelier is 3 arm/light. Each arm houses a large lantern with 4 stained glass panels. The glass is dark amber which changes to a lovely gold in the light. At certain angles and in certain light, the fixture appears to have two different colors of glass. The glass is textured on the interior with a smooth exterior. The glass is held in place with tabs on the interior of the lanterns and with screws at the top of the lantern frames. Each lantern is topped with an ornate, large twisted finial. This accent is repeated on the bottom of the fixture. A floral pattern bobeche sits below each lantern. The lanterns are open on the top and bottom. The are angled with the top ... moresections wider and they narrow toward the bottom. The chandelier is quite nice and in very good condition. It retains the original ceiling cover/canopy. The canopy is fluted and the gold and black colors are repeated here as well. There is a yellow UL sticker inside the canopy but there are no manufacturer's marks. The initials of"G.S. are painted on the top of one of the arms. I do not know if this is a maker's mark or if this was added sometime later. It is not visible when the chandelier is hanging. The wiring is cloth wrapped. The cloth has worn in a few areas but the wiring is still in good condition. The sockets appear to have been updated at some point. Each arms houses one socket and utilizes one standard sized bulb. The chandelier is large and measures 27" in diameter and 24" tall(excluding chain) There is approximately 17" of wire and hanging chain(original black iron) Each of the lantern arms is 13" tall from bottom to top of finial.
