This darling antique brass pendant light is a Vintporium favorite. The fixture has a drop of 34 inches and a width of 14 inches. The fixture features new cloth covered wiring. New mounting bracket, and new socket guts while keeping the old socket casings. The fixture has a solid brass ceiling pan, solid brass shade fitters and an antique brass painted steel chain. The shades are a wonderful frosted and painted glass. This is an old piece and is showing its antiquity with inconsistencies in the brass finish, aging spots in the ceiling pan, some tarnishing in the steel chain, a couple of very small superficial chips on the bottom rim of the glass shades and a little scuffing on the top of the shades(all of which are pretty common to old fixtures) Suitable for dry locations. This listing is for a Rare Extraordinary Antique Solid Brass 4 Light Chandelier from the Late 19th Century with Floral Frosted Shades. This beautiful Chandelier is about 30" tall. Plus 4 or 5 inches of chain and a brass cover at the ceiling, and from the top of the fixture to the bottom of the shades the height is about 35" It has three brass arms with a light at the end of each of them. Plus a light in the center of the fixture. If a circle were drawn around the outside of the shades the diameter would be about 32" As you will see from the photographs the brasswork is beautifully and intricately detailed. This auction is for a pair of antique solid brass candle wall sconces. That hold 3 candles each. Each candle is placed in the"bud" of a stylized open flower. And each candle holder is threaded and can be unscrewed. The middle holder on each sconce is slightly askew, which was part of the original manufacture. Each sconce is quite solid, and no part can be easily bent. Each is 17" high and 14" wide, and extends 4" from the wall. In the close-up photo of the back, the screws holding the arms can be seen, as well as the metal hook from which each hangs. My late husband bought these wall sconces at a Vermont antique shop in the mid-1940's. They were authenticated at that time as having been made in the early 1900's. He used them at one time. So there is some candle residue from use years ago. However, they have ... morebeen unused and packed in a carton for the last 45 years. Neither has ever been polished, and both retain their patina. This pair of sconces was very recently appraised for $450-$600, by the fine arts director at an auction house. A pair of solid brass girandoles. The bevelled oval mirrors surmounted by putti wearing turbans and flanked by more putti with palm leaves. Two candles supported on acanthus and foliage scrolls. Converted for electricity. Overall height about 13½" and just over 6½" wide. Project from the wall about 3½" Solid brass backs. When used as candle holders. The mirrors reflect the warm light beautifully. Where they have been converted to electricity. The wires are just about visible weaving around the arms. Vintage Antique Hanging Solid Brass Lamp Light Fixture Lantern On Stand
Here is a very ornate. Solid brass, I believe, hanging lamp lantern on its own solid brass and iron stand. I am quite certain this is solid brass- It is non magnetic, very heavy, the lamp weighs over 9 lbs. The whole lamp measures just under 24" tall, The lantern intself measures 7" square and between 10- 11" in height. The base of the stand is also solid brass, and the rest of the stand is iron(magnetic) The lantern portion is very ornate and has 4 unbroken glass, tiny checkerboard, panels in it. One of the panels is loose and not attached to the lamp, but is not broken. The lamp is in excellent working condition as can be seen in the first picture. The only other thing wrong with it is that is needs a new brass cap screw for the top of it- one of the original is missing and currently has a regular screw in place. The electrical ... morecord is short and measures around 20- 21" in length. This is a beautiful unique solid piece and would look great on a patio or other outdoor living area, as well as for indoor decorating. Lamp is dirty and needs a good cleaning. Beautiful! A very romantic swag chandelier from possibly the 1910's to the 1920's era or possibly early 1930's. Real solid with a nice weight to it and rich golden brass color. never been polished and I've had it for years. Needs to be rewired. Each light has its own switch(fan shaped turnkey) on the side of the socket. Wonderful elegant design.looks best when you are slightly underneath it. No glass shades. AS IS as the body has some"character dings" on it on at least two sides. Fixture is approx. 16" long. The loop at the top is approx. 4.75" long. Maybe this is much older and was a conversion from gas to electric? I cannot be certain. Up for bid is this. Fresh from an old barn, early 1900's ANTIQUE solid very heavy brass hanging hall or foyer lamp. Couldn't find any markings. Fits a 5 1/2 shade and is 17 inches tall. Needs refurbished! Has the original asbestos coated wire. Screws for shade are rusted and not loose enough to turn with fingers so I didn't want to forced them. Buyer can. This might even have hung on a front porch or entry way of a fine home or even a hotel and would have not been a cheap lamp as it is heavy and made very well. An antique brass girandole. The rectangular bevelled mirror surrounded by scroll-work and foliage. With two candle sticks, converted for electricity. When originally used as candle holders. The mirrors reflected the warm light beautifully. The electric wires are just about visible where they weave around the arms(see photos) It would be easy to pull out the"new" candle sticks and use as originally intended. They each have 2 arms with a twisted metal design and have a 9" span from candle to candle. The beveled mirrors are 7.5" x 4.5" and the prisms are 4" long. They have age related wear and patina. Antique Pair of Solid Brass Rococo 2 Arm Candle Wall Sconces
This is a fabulous Pair of Antique Solid Brass Roccoco 2 Arm CandleWall Sconces. They are large at 17" tall with a 2" wide wall bracket with 2 screw holes and a 15" span from arm to arm. The twisted leaf design arms ar 14" long with a 5" span from the wall. Each candle cup is 2.5" x 2.5" with a 4" round bobeche. They are in very good condition with slight age related patina nad some oxidation on the backside where the metal has been joined, There is a spot of oxidation on the front of one, very tiny, not noticable. They are heavy at 4 pounds each and shipping with refect weight. Shipping includes insurance.

Antique Gas Wall Sconce Solid Brass Electric Crescent B.M. Co. Art Nouveau
Up for sale is a gorgeous antique gas brass wall sconce. It has been converted to electric. But it is a vintage/antique original conversion, with the original cotton wires from the early 1900's. Stamped with the maker"Crescent B.M. Co Pat'd" on the back(there is also a patent number but it is unreadable to me) I would caution any buyer who purchases to please rewire for safety reasons. Those wires are not considered safe anymore, needs new wires if going to be used. Also needs a switch. Is in good condition, with only one notable issue. It appears that at one point there was a decorative accent on the top, it has been snapped off, it looks like it never had been there in the first place, so the break happened in a natural looking place. Electric sockets have cardboard candle sticks covering the hardware, they slide off, ... morefor easy removal and access to the wires. The wiring is easy to access, so easy to replace. Height of candles are adjustable with a small screw. This is a solid brass, quality antique piece of americana. Would look excellent in any house, has a very decorative art nouveau look. Here it is and you can see it was hanging an being used until I just took it down. This is a fantastic solid brass chandelier that will come to you complete and in very good condition. This chandelier is original and early. Circa 1900-1910 made when no one was sure if electricity was going to stay around and be reliable. It is original made to use both gas and electricity. The 3 glass shades that point downward are for electricity; and the 3 glass shades that point up are for gas, also those arms have the gas shut off valves. Its nice to see apiece like this unpainted, damage free& with all the glass shades. I purchased this in the 1970's and it was polished and rewired to be all electric at that time. Please note that this chandelier is now all electric. This piece is for pick up only. But. This is a stunning gigantic antique solid brass ornate electric wall sconce fixture. it measures a large 28 1/2 inches long by 19 inches wide and sits 10 1/2 inches fro the wall. it is extremely ornate with exquisite detailing throughout. it has 6 very detailed arms with ornate drip plates/candle holders.
