Antique Italian Glass Fruit & Prisms Chandelier
I am excited to offer this gorgeous Italian Murano Fruits chandelier from approximately 1920's. It came out of an estate of folks who traveled Europe and bought beautiful high end decor for their home. C handelier measures 22" from top of glass column to bottom of hanging fruits and is 15" in diameter. What I call medium sized. It has 4 Lights which hold candellabra based bulbs. All four bobeche cups and top ornate column are graduated B lue to L avender M urano glass. Top column ha s a crack& small chip near top which has been glued and is stable. See pic#8. Turn this part to the back and no one w ould know. Body of fixture is birdcage shaped and features central brass column and 2 tiers of brass arms. Lower 4 brass arms have G lass B eadwork and ends of arms heavily adorned with colorful prisms and Maria Teresa flat flower ... morediscs. There are P urple prisms/discs on top tier and A mber on lower tier. Top glass column has glorious glass F ruits and P risms/discs hanging from it on 4 sides. Glass G rapes hang from the four arm lights. Also from the bottom of fixture along with a glass P ear. The fruits hanging from various parts of fixture are A pples. Multi-colored G rapes. A P ear and what looks like two P lums. Please look at all the pics as they tell the true story about this chandelier. It is a real feast for the eyes. O verall color scheme is L avender. B lue. A mber, R ed, C lear and Y ellowy-Green. T here are a couple prisms with a chip on them seen in last 3 pictures. Not very noticeable but worth the mention. This fixture was working when I just bought it. We are pleased to offer this stunning. Antique crystal chandelier. This wonderful fixture is French styled and features 4 waterfall tiered sections, two on the top and two on the bottom. The center of the chandelier features an extremely ornate brass/bronze band with large crystals inside the band. The chandelier is 6 light; you will note a couple of the light sockets are missing bulbs, but they all function perfectly. The brass/bronze is absolutely beautiful throught this fixture. It is embossed with delicate and intricate patterns. The same pattern is also found on the original ceiling cover canopy which is also included with the fixture. The chandelier features 12 crystals on the 1st waterfall top section and 24 crystals on the second tier. There are 12 large crystal around the circumference of the chandelier's center band. The 3rd ... morewaterfall section on the lower part of the chandelier contains 12 crystals as does the 4th, bottom waterfall section. There are 72 crystals in total. The chandelier is in very good condition with little aging. There is residual paint on the interior of the ceiling canopy. Up for auction is this very nice antique Italian made ceiling light fixture. It is made of brass and has mutlti-colored glass panels on it's six sides: green. Blue, yellow, green, blue, yellow. This light is an architectural salvage find. The previous owner stated that the light is in working order, but I have not tested it. The fixtures have gilded scrolling tole leaves and is dripping in dazzling prisms. There are 27 medium crystals. 28 small and 1 large for a total of 58 crystals on each sconce. There are two arms on each holding 2 lights each. It is in very good condition with good wiring. It shows off its age with some slight paint loss. We are pleased to offer this EXCEPTIONAL AND VERY RARE. Italian toleware chandelier. The chandelier is a beautiful, burnt orange color with abundant, black, painted details and accents. This stunning antique fixture features the original shade, ceiling canopy and adjustment finial. The chandelier is an Arts and Crafts styled, 4 arm, candlestick design. Each arm has a faux wick adjustment tool and each has an attached, glass, candle wax collection cup under each arm. The glass is quite thick and rests inside a metal frame. The glass is held securely with a screw on two sides of their frame. The candlestick arms have a painted design. The center of the chandelier features a lidded urn shaped body. It has a painted, fruit filled urn over a drapery rod and swag design. The shade is beautiful. It is square and flares so that the lower section ... moreis wider than the top. Each corner has a half rounded section which is slightly inset into the straight sides. These corners feature alternating painted accents. Two of the corners repeat the urn, fruit and swag pattern of the chandelier's body. The remaining two corners feature a unique, tilted urn over a diagonal torch. There is a staff in the background as well as laurel leaves. The shade is positioned by sliding over the brass down rod which extends above the fixture. There is an arrow adjustment finial which allows the shade to be raised or lowered. The original ceiling canopy cup is fluted. This is an EXTREMELY rare fixture. It is marked on the upper chandelier body, very crudely"Made in Italy, 1915" I do not know if the fixture dates to 1915 or if this is the pattern for the fixture, etc. It is most certainly old and absolutely as beautiful as it is unique. It is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/use. There is the expected and very slight wear to the painted finish in only a few areas. WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY. Stunning porcelain and tole bird cage style Italian chandelier with macaroni beads all over. I have never seen this chandelier ever in my life. I assure you to find another one will not be easy. Its got great porcelain pieces all over it and stunning roses and most of them are in great condition with only minor flea bites. Its just incredible, the detail, the shape, the macaroni beads, its a Shabby chic girls dream come true. hahaha! Two of the porcelain pieces do have cracks(I show in photos) that were glued but no porcelain is missing. They were clean breaks. Also one prism doesn't match its a different shape, only saw this after serious inspection and could easily be switched out with one to match. Comes with ceiling canopy and the 3 hanging lights inside do work as you can see in photos, but all old wiring should ... morebe checked by a professional. Also I just noticed that the bottom porcelain piece where the ball hangs from, is missing some porcelain, will add photo, its one corner of it is knicked off. Its just sooooo cool. LOCAL PICK UP AVAILABLE- please contact me for shipping costs it might be expensive depending on where you are. Its large and stunning and its going to be a hard to package up but I am up for the challenge. It will be double boxed so pricing might be high but that's probably the only way to get her there safe. Offered here is a unique pair of cast brass and smelter wall lamps. Fitted with new stylistically appropriate damask shades. Pieces such as these were usually made in the United States, and this particular pair was made around the 1930's. These pieces have been carefully rewired, cleaned and restored by our restoration staff. The silk shades are included in the measurements provided below, and are included with the purchase of the sconces. Each sconce measures 36" tall by 4" wide by 9" deep. Up for sale is this antique Italian wooden wall sconce. It comes from a private Conn estate and was well taken care of. It has carved wooden holders for 2 candles and the scroll supports that lead up to it are metal. The base is carved wood. All of the wood has been gilded gold. There is a very old tag on the back that says Made In Italy. It is in very good condition for its age, no chips or cracks, some of the paint is coming loose around the holders and there is a small hole drilled in the middle of the base. Thanks for looking!
