Up for sale today is a PAIR of very large milk glass light shades or globes. They are about 20 inches in diameter and about 12 inches tall. The fixture side is about 8 inches in diameter. There is a small 1/2" hole on the bottom. These came out of a commercial building that was built at about 1900. There are the expected chips along the opening but otherwise are in very good condition. I believe that this is the same type used in school houses and other public buildings; I remember seeing similar ones in the old courthouse. Please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions. No cracks chips or blemishes. Their is a couple chips in the white porcelain on the under side as seen in the pictures.The Green Porcelain is in great shape. As you can see in the pictures we have 3 matching fixtures all of which are identical. Th e lamp shade is signed in the rim as you can see in the last 2 pictures. It says Holophane 2140 March 19. 1918. Th is is the real deal. This lamp would have hung in an early American factory o r maybe even in a shopping mall. When this glass is lit up it looks li ke a giant crystal. The glass is free from any chips or cracks. Antique Vtg Holophane Cross Hatched Glass Light Lamp Votive Industrial Age Shade
Folks. I bought this Holophane shade with several other antique and vintage globes. It has a cross hatch design. It is marked HOLOPHANE. Measures about 4 3/8" tall and the outside measurement of opening that fits into a fixture is 2 3/8" There are no cracks but there is a factory line that looks like a crack. See it in 3rd photo with zoom feature. There is one area with some tiny chips off the hatching but not too noticiable. There are some chips off of ring that goes into fixture. Here we have a very cool Machine Age Edison wall sconce with a really great japanned brass finish and 8 inch antique flat milk glass shade. Including the shade this lamp will stick out about 14 1/2 inches from your wall. Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Vtg. Antique- Lg. School House -Industrial Ceiling Fixture Light - Milk ? Glass
Offered is a great old ceiling mount fixture. I know its definately Vintage, Possibally antique but not sure. It's like a school house or industrial style, Has a large white glass globe, that I think would be a milk glass, The globe alone measures 16" across center, 10" deep or tall and the opening including its lip is 6" across center, when placed on metal Holder/ Fixture it hangs down approx. 14" from ceiling. Its Holder is a bit unique from most, instead of having screws that hold on the glass it has a colar with clips, once collar is off, you slip the globe on and then the colar goes over 2 tabs and you twist the colar to lock on the globe. The holder looks to me to be a sorta brushed aluminum and the colar I think is either a thicker aluminum or steel possibally. The Glass is in very nice condition with no cracks, ... morehas some tiny knicks on glass right around the opening on lip. The metal holder shows age of scratches and spotting(nothing major) but you could always paint it if you wanted it to look newer. Its a tiny bit indented where screws went, most likely from over tightening it a bit and the area that fits right up to ceiling has a round hole which I think may have had either a switch or pull type chain at some point coming out of it but it must have been removed.Its works fine and the socket is porcelain. Mercury Glass Light Fixture Description A vintage light fixture made of a gold tone metal(likely brass) with blue mercury glass shade. The shade measures approximately 5" in diameter. The mounting base measures approximately 4-1/2" in diameter. The fixture will stand out approximately 8" from the wall. The metal part of the fixture has a few small dents along the base rim and a few minor dings elsewhere. I cannot move the set screws by hand but the fitter on the glass shade appears to be damage free. Needs a good cleaning and polishing. Will need to be wired.

Marked, American Beauty Twin Radiant Electric Heater, American Electrical Heater Co. Made In Detroit, Patent Pending. Heater works when plugged in, but I'm not sure I'd trust the original fabric cord. My plan was to rewire it as a light and mount it over my industrial desk with a couple of small Edison bulbs. The metal fixture is 17 inches long and has a 5 inch ceiling cap. The globes are about 13 inches across and 9 inches deep. The white glass globes are in good condition with no cracks or breaks. The metal fixtures will have some dings and dents from 70 plus years of use. One porcelain socket was replaced due to a crack in base. Photo shows both sockets. A reducer had to be used due to large size pipe. New wire was installed to make them safe. They were photographed with normal size 60 watt bulbs. Awesome oversize lamp from Thermolite New York! Very rare to find these early lamps in such original working condition! The brass base measures 9" diameter. The huge oversize head is 9 1/2" daimeter and is covered with the original textured paint. Nice brass accent on the back of the head with that beautiful badge proudly showing its origins! It's a bulky, almost imposing lamp with a great industrial, purposeful look! The lamp works great, the wiring is original and in good shape, the cord is 12 feet long- could be rewired if you prefer but is being sold with the original wiring. The lamp stands around 22" tall but the gooseneck can be bent over to suit your needs, The oversize reflector has awesome patina with some light pitting, it could be polished up if you like a cleaner look. Industrial Antique Adjustable Medical Floor Lamp Tattoo
Fully adjustable medical examination floor lamp manufactured by Spurti INC of Cincinnati. OH. Model 200-s. Originally the lamp contained both UV or Ultra Violet and Infra Red Bulbs. New ceramic sockets and a three way switch were installed for use with normal light bulbs. Height can be adjusted from 39" up to 59" Arm projects 19" Scalloped reflector and weighted boomerang shaped base have been repainted an appealing industrial grey. Dilapidated wire was replaced with period appropriate black cloth covered twisted wire and an industrial plug.
