This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. Vintage Antique Porcelain Wall Sconce Fixture White Floral Applique Green Orange
For your consideration is this great old wall sconce fixture. It is in good condition. Though it needs to be re-wired. It is a pull switch fixture. The wall plate measures 4 1/4" wide by 7 1/4" tall. The fixture is white with green lines painted on the base, two lines, one parallel to the wall, then one inside that that mirrors the shape of the top of the base. There is also a green line painted around the rim of the lamp socket. There are transfer appliques on the fixture with pink roses, green bow and green leaves. The appliques do have some wear, the top one on the wall plate, being nearly worn off. The rest, however, are in decent condition. There are also a couple of cracks near the hole in the back. They appear to be cracks in the glaze and do not appear on the front of the fixture in any way. Markel Slip Shade Wall Sconce. Art Deco era and mainly these were made in the 30s. The glass is in excelle nt condition and could not find any flea bites. Obviously chips or cracks. This glass is very special and made with uranium in it, so when under b lack light it glows. Rare to find this glass still and especially in this condition. The frame is of a cast metal and heavier metal at that. It has been cleaned and r estored to a medium gold. And oil rubbed to enhance the details of the frame. The brass turn switch has been replaced with a new one and the socket and wiring also. The bulb it would take is a standard size bulb that w ith a regular base. This auction is for a Fantastic Antique Double Socket Table Lamp With Great Brass Metal Work and a Lovely Soft Green Glass Body with a Molded Relief Floral Design that lights up. The piece is in very good condition. Especially for its age, which I believe dates to the 1930s. There are no cracks or chips in the glass or breaks or dents to the metal. I have tested the lamp and it works well. Both of the top sockets which activate on pull cords and the center body that lights up by a twist knob on the base. The brass pieces have a nice patina built up. The Green Glass body is frosted and molded into a relief design of leaves or thistle. The brass at the base and above the glass has an elaborately designed reticulated Victorian pattern. The lamp has a center rod that adjusts. Allowing you to raise the main sockets a few inches. The sockets also ... moreare hinged, which allows you to separate them apart from one another depending on your lighting needs. The lamp measures about 25 inches from the base to the top of the sockets. The lamp base measures about 8 inches across. The lamp doesn't come with a finial or shade. The center body cast a very soft. Soothing accent glow. The hardware appears to be original to the lamp. There are no makers marks so I am not certain of the manufacture. Of course, is delicious(and original) I also love that the original shades and canopy are still present. I’m uncertain as to when the fixture was made. Perhaps as early as the late 1930s when tôle became popular. It may as late as the 1950s. I’m certain it’s not later as the original wiring was cloth-covered(plastic wire was common about 1960) The exposed wire is new. But cloth-covered like the original. The chandelier is an impressive 21-inches wide. It’s nicely scaled for an average to large-ish dining room. For example. Or perhaps your newly renovated kitchen! This fixture is ready to hang. And comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. COLOR: A darkish green. Gold detailing. SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 30-inches and is 21-inches wide. I can remove up to 7-inches of chain. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage. The sockets are original(and in fine shape) with new paper insulators. The wiring to the sockets. Always encased by the pipe arms and thus protected, is near mint. As such, I left it in place. I did replace the exposed vertical wire with new cloth-

Imbedded within their experience was an artistic ability and color sense that was soon to vanish. The future is represented by the basic design of 1940s fixtures; they don’t really look like pre-war fixtures. The past is rich colors and lush details. By the latter 1950s the past was extinct as the Atomic Age ushered in a mania for The New and simplicity reined. Houses from the 1940s are also very different than those from the 1950s. Antique Frosted Etched Painted Pink Cabbage Roses Glass Globe Shade Green Leaves
This is a stunning antique frosted glass light globe has delicate raised pink roses and green leaves with a garland of branches with tiny thorns looping all around the bell of the globe. Standing 4.5” tall. The neck is 3.25” around(outside diameter) and 2 7/8” around(inside diameter) The sides are fluted at the neck and then flare out to a bell with a turned edge that is 6” wide. The delicate pink roses, leaves and brambles with thorns are raised on the outside of the glass, but the coloring was added on the glossy inside. Under the top lip is a chip about ½” long, plus a few flea bites, and the larger diameter lip has a small chip on the inside(not noticeable from the outside) plus some air bubbles throughout the glass, but nothing that detracts and nothing that compromises the overall integrity of the shade. There are no cracks or ... moresplits anywhere and the beautiful frosting is complete throughout. It could use a cleaning but I will leave that up to the new owner. This is a gorgeous vintage glass globe and most unusual, probably from the 1930’s or earlier. Perfect for a small night table lamp, it could also be repurposed by being paired with a candle pillar inside to show off the dainty pink roses. Vintage Mid Century Green Electric Plug In Hanging Lamp w/ Amber Colored Glass Globes and Glass Prisms. This Lamp or Light works great and would be an asset to anyone's vintage home decor. It has been cleaned lightly for pictures but might need a little more. It is missing one of its original nuts on top. We have replaced it with another one as seen in pictures. The prisms could stand to be rewired and attached to the lamp. The wire has gotten old that holds them onto the lamp and sometimes they break off due to the brittle metal wire. So rewiring the prisms is a must eventually. It isn't missing any of its prisms. You might see some minor scratches to the paint ... morebut none that is just awful or takes away from the lamp. The goldtone chain might have some fading to the plating but really looks good for its age. I don't see any rust on the chain at all. A one of a kind industrial steampunk wall sconce made from an old cast iron pulley which hangs from a wrought iron strap hinge from the early 1800's, Mounted to a vintage cast iron canopy. The socket is a GE Paddle type from the early 1900's. And I believe the shade has always been with this socket. The paddle switch is a tad loose. Safe to operate. Is not going to fall off, but needs to pe pushed in slightly before turning. Definitely not a deal breaker. A large and impressive sconce. As photographed it measures: 24 inches tall. Stands 15 inches from the wall. The shade diameter is 8 inches. The canopy diameter is 5 1/2 inches. The pulley diameter is 5 1/4 inches. As it sits on the table it measures 5-3/8" tall(this is how far it would stick out from the wall) The base is 5" across- made of tin- colored with multi green. On the outside, white on the inside. There are two brass inserts in the top and bottom of the tin base. One of these has a short electric cord coming out of it. The glass trim is in very very good condition. The brass neck and bulb base does need to be polish. The electric cord is an addition to this light. There is a short cloth covered wire coming out of the fixture, under the base.
