This listing is for a PAIR OF ANTIQUE ART DECO SLIP SHADE WALL SCONCES W/ AMBER FROSTED SHADES IN ORIGIONAL FINISH REWIRED.The metal sconce has a nickle platted finish. One shade is in good condition with a few minor inside edge chips. the other shade is about 90% cracked thru. Previous owner said a glass person glued the crack so it wouldn't come apart.I am selling this as is with one good shade and one bad shade.The electrical components were replaced for safety. The length is about 11 inches with shade. About 7 in width and extends about 4 1/2 inches from wall. The shade is 1 3/8 inches at base and 5 inches at top. Sides are 5 inches long. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. Up for your consideration is a Art Deco Style Dresser Lamp. The lamp is all frosted glass. With sleek Art Deco lines, the lamp has a large Glass shade, with these same lines, and design, the lamp measures 12" high, and the shade has a circumfrence of 25" around at the bottom of the shade, the lamp is in very good condition no chips or cracks, and uses a 40 amp bulb, the lamp cord is a standard plug, and is in very good condition, and works great. Antique Art Nouveau Hand Painted Frosted Glass Hanging Dome Fixture c-1930's
Here you are bidding on a"Antique Art Nouveau Hanging Glass Fixture" It is a hand painted frosted glass that has a crackle look to it. It is a torpedo like shaped fixture that has hand painted lines through it that form a check like pattern. It has a brass top and hanging chain on it. It measures 11 inches from the brass hook on its top to the pointed shaped bottom. It is about 4 1/2 inches at its widest part. Circa 1930's. This item is in very good condition with the exception being a'dent' on the top part of the glass dome. Not sure if it could have been from it being blown glass or not but its more like a melt then anything else and its a b out a 1/2 inch wide. That said it is'not' noticeable when its hanging as it is on the top of the dome. Otherwise its in very good condition and need only cleaning and a ... morere wiring. Depending on how you choose to use it. I have 2 other matching domes both in very good condition and both'without' the melted dent. Beautiful antique glass shade ceiling light fixture. This light comes with the mounting hardware and is ready for use. The light has a wonderful glow with the frosted shade and clear glass accents. It really lights up a large room and gives it a warm inviting feeling. The pressed shade has a wonderful raised clear leaf and flower detail with clear glass scalloped and spider webbed center. A heavy brass pineapple finial finishes off the bottom of the shade. The porcelain fitter is by Porcelier and like the shade in excellent condition. The fitter has leaf design along the rim. Up for auction is a beautiful floral ceiling lamp. This is early 1900's and the edges look to be a wheeled cut glass. Hand painted on the inside and glass is frosted. Giving it a very soft and eloquent look. Measures apx. 15 inches across. There are no chips or cracks. Very minimal loss of frosting probably contributed to age and use. This is a stunning antique frosted glass light globe has delicate raised pink roses and green leaves with a garland of branches with tiny thorns looping all around the bell of the globe. Standing 4.5” tall. The neck is 3.25” around(outside diameter) and 2 7/8” around(inside diameter) The sides are fluted at the neck and then flare out to a bell with a turned edge that is 6” wide. The delicate pink roses, leaves and brambles with thorns are raised on the outside of the glass, but the coloring was added on the glossy inside. Nice looking vintage lamp. Has a little paint on rim. Signs of wear but sits straight and no damage. Glass globe inside has a little chipping on one spot where it meets the housing. You can see condition in the pics. Solid with all nuts and screws. Just needs mount bar which is easy to find. I will try to take a picture when lighted soon. I don't know a lot about this glass globe. I do know it's old. It is possibly special made somehow. A three-piece mold maybe. Someone was telling me bits about its significance as they were trying to get it away from me at a sale, but wouldn't tell me much more when I wouldn't give it up. They did mention Portland Oregon. a possible origin. It is a nice globe in good condition but does have a couple little chips around the rim where it would go into the fixture but nothing major. It is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall, the inside of the hole is 2 1/2 inches and the outside of the rim is 3 1/4. It does have a few bubbles here and there and it weighs 1 lb. 15 oz. Antique frosted milk glass light fixture globe set of 2 vintage diffuser NICE!
Up at auction today we are offering a VERY nice set of two antique milk glass light diffusers. They are bell shaped. Measure 5 3/8" tall, are 4 1/4" in diameter on the bottom, and 2 3/16" on the top lip. Outside of these are a frosted finish, and the inside is glossy finish.They are in excellent condition for globes that are reaching 100 years old! They have no chips or cracks, but each one does have a tiny chip on the upper lip where the screws hold it into the fixture, but when mounted, you cannot see them, nor do they affect their function. They have a beautiful pattern, just look at the photos! Looks like a tulip pattern with round"bumps" around the bottom, with a 2 piece"ridge" then a series of arches, followed by indented ribs running to the top. Offering an Original Antique Brass Chandelier Light Fixture with 3 Etched Frosted Glass Shades. Chandelier is in working condition and has a hanging length of 35 inches. There is a chain so length can be adjusted somewhat. Diameter of chandelier is 18 inches. There is a good bit of pitting to the brass finish. There are also some scratches. The chandelier could use a good cleaning. Each shades has it's own manual on/off switch. The shades are in good condition with no chips or cracks. Art Nouveau Glass Sconce Lamp Shades Early 1900's Ruffled Edge Frosted Antique
Up for auction is a lovely Antique 1920's-1930's Pair of Glass Lamp Shades. Ruffled Bottom Edge that has been polished and a stone ground non-symmetrical fitter. Fitter helps date this to early 1900's. Sides have raised shapes that are reminiscent of a claddagh. Frosted finish rounds out these pieces. These shades could be used with ceiling fans. Chandelier lamp styles, wall sconce, table, bath vanity or other light fixture that will fit a 2-1/4" fitter. Individually crafted with lots of bubbles within the frosted glass. Characteristic to crafting style. One shade measures about 4-3/4" tall and 6-3/4" by 6" at the top opening. The opening on this shade is rounded. But when measured seems a little more oval. This shade has an area on the side that is folded. Again not sure what this means. Maybe shade got hot ... morefrom light bulb and melted, or maybe this happened when it was being made. The other shade measures about 5" tall and 6-1/4" diameter wide. This shade is a little more round at opening than the other shade. The fitter hole for these shades is 1-7/8" diameter for inside fitter and 2-1/8" diameter for outside fitter. These shades will fit any light fixture with a 2-1/4" screw hardware mount. These shades are absolutely gorgeous works of glass art. Hand crafted with a very glamorous. Hollywood style. Unique shades. Stunning Look! Both shades have some black marks at fitter end that appear to be marks from previous screw/hardware mount. Bubbles in the glass of these shades. There is. What looks to be a stress area, next to one of the crimped edges. It is a cluster of small lines. This area is shown in one of the pictures. Also pictured are the black marks at fitters. Other than what I have mentioned, there are no chips or cracks to these shades.
