Here is a gorgeous unmarked BUTTER PAT mini plate. This pat boasts a decorative sprig of Roses/ flowers that make a horizontal line through the center of the pat. There is gold trim around the edge of the butter pat. No nicks or chips. But there is some very slight crazing and very slight wear on some of the gold on the rim. Probably no big deal, but I would rather mention this than not. The shape of the pat is round. However, I would say there is a light scallop design that make this pat unique. 3 Antique Butter Pats - Charming Antique Pottery (as is) - Really cute florals
My Inv. I N 2B 3 Truly Antique Butter Pats(2 have wildflowers- 1 has rose) Color of porcelain is supposed to be white but has turned a little creme coloured due to age. All have decorative raised design in the porcelain around edges that is unpainted which is consistent with antique china. It is just a raised design in the porcelain mold. Beautiful butter pats have some damage which includes crazing to the clear glaze. 1 chip on the rose pat. Which the chip itself is antique as the exposed pottery has turned black inside the chip(you can see this in my pics) 1 of the wildflower pats has no chips but the other one has a chip and a pottery shard that stuck during firing. They have a ton of charm even though they aren't perfect. They are most likely around 100 years old. Has a few light age spots and a couple of tiny ash marks which came ... morefrom the primitive firing process used during that era. If you don't know what an ash mark is. It would look like a tiny speck of black dirt under the glaze, smaller than a speck of pepper. Marked with no manufacturer's mark at all. Maybe you recognize the pattern? Found at an estate sale. This auction is for a set of 3 lovely hand painted butter pat dishes measuring approx. 2 7/8" each. They are stamped Haviland France on the back. As you can see from the photos they are exquisitely done. They are trimmed in gold. They are in nice condition. Two of them have a tiny"dip" in the surface. You can barely see them in the photos. Not that noticeable. Please be sure to view the photos as part of the description so you can decide the condition for yourself and email with any questions before the auction ends. Lot of 3 Antique Butter Pats Porcelain China England Asian Floral Gold
This lot of three antique butter pats was found in an old farm shed. The blue and white one has a design with Asian or Indian temples and flowers and is deeper than most butter pats. It is marked England and has a 99 with 4 above it impressed into the bottom. The one with a green floral pattern has an embossed lip and scalloped edge. It is marked. But is is illegible. The pat with the painted gold edge and scroll design in gold has no chips or cracks. Nice trio of butter pats to use for a fun summer dinner with friends or for your collection. Each one measures approx. 3 3/8" x 2 5/8" The each have the same design of flowers and leaves. Each one is imprinted in the back"Brownfield" with Rd No. 7044(circa 1884-1885) The butter pats are in good antique condition. They have a high gloss finish and the brown coloring is good. Antique FLOW BLUE BUTTER PAT with Gold Trim - 3-3/16" diameter
This is an ANTIQUE FLOW BLUE BUTTER PAT WITH GOLD TRIM. This lovely old butter pat measures 3-3/16" in diameter. White with flow blue border. Gold trim around edge and incorporated into a delicate crest/looped chain border decoration. There is also a very faint. non-colored) raised-scallop design in the ceramic/porcelain itself about 1/2" in from the edge. No maker's name or marking on bottom. Butter pat is in NICE antique condition with minimal. Normal signs of use. No chips or cracks that I can see. It does have some faint crazing on front and back; crazing is not discolored and is not too visible under normal light. Thank you for viewing my auction. Offered to you in this auction are 4 antique hand painted Nut cups that can also be used as Butter Pats. They are 3-1/4 inches across. And 1-1/8 tall with scalloped edges. Although I do not know their exact age it is obvious that they are Antique porcelain. Beautiful floral artwork with pink and wine accents to the flowers with green leaves, trim and branches. Tiny dots of white paint finish there lovely design off. Each is scalloped and they have bright color, each hand painted. One has a tiny flea mark that has been touch up and can hardly be seen. 7 BEAUTIFUL Vintage / Antique Floral and Gold Gilt Trim Butter Pats 3.25 Inches
These are 7 beautiful vintage/ antique porcelain butter pats that belonged to my mother. We also used them as individual nut dishes during the holidays or fancy dinners. As you can see in the photos they are in lovely condition with NO chips or cracks or crazing. They are made of a very fine and almost translucent porcelain. They have a beautiful ruffle and gilt trim which makes them look even more elegant. Each one measures almost 3.33 inches across. I do not know if they are hand painted. It has a swallow and wisteria motif which is hand painted in a gold paint. There is a muddled look to the lavender and green paint with a flowing appearance. The hand painting brings out the detail in this piece nicely. There is an ample amount of crazing here to both the front and back of the piece. For your consideration is a set of 6 Grindley semi-porcelain butter pats from the turn of the 19th/20th century. These appear little used if at all. No chips or cracks in the 6 that I am selling. I am unsure of the seventh one. the one that is by itself in the photos, which may have a small sliver off the back edge) so it is going along with the others for free. Many discolorations, roughness, marks, stains, and all sorts of imperfections under the glaze- too many to mention individually- as can be seen in the photos, so they are being sold as-is.
