This is a very nice serving piece of Theodore Haviland Limoges France. There are no chips or cracks that I can see or feel and there does not appear to be very much wear if any. The dish is 11" from handle to handle and 5" from the bottom to the top of the lid. I do not know what pattern this is even though I have tried looking it up. I will ship the cheapest way possible. Chips or cracks. Each is marked on its bisque(unglazed) reverse side, H& L Co. France" in green- and in red as"Haviland& Company Limoges. Haviland Limoges France Antique Butter Pat or Open Salt Dip Hand Painted H & Co
Offering a rare H&Co. Haviland& Company) Limoges France butter pat. This lovely butter pat has hand painted flowers in various shades. The backstamp on this item dates it back to appx the 1880's. It's in wonderful condition. You would never guess it to be that old. Since it's made of high quality. Limoges porcelain, there's no crazing, and there's also no cracks, or chips. It does have a very, very slight roughness to the rim where it meets the table. This butter pat is not flat. It's somewhat like a tiny shallow bowl, measuring 11/16" from bottom rim to top rim. Description This china pattern is so lovely. A design of white morning glories with green and light gold leaves on white background. In the center is a morning glory spray with green leaves. The rim is scalloped and then trimmed in gold. On the back is Theodore Haviland limoges France. As far as I can tell it is from the early 1900's. The butter pat is 3" in diameter.
