Five of them are in really nice condition with only a little bit of crazing. Then there are two of them that are not quite as nice. The one has a couple of discolored spots which you see this more from the back then the front. Then the other one does have a Lot of crazing and is has discolored. You may be able to bleach this out but I did not try. This one also has a little chip on the back too. I was going to just toss it out but then thought someone may need it to complete their set. UP FOR CONSIDERATION: Here is a lot of three(3) Old Butter Pats(or dipping plates. Pin dishes, or nut plates) They are so pretty. But all have signs of use and age. CONDITION& DESCRIPTION: from left to right) The cream colored square shaped. Porcelain dish on the left has gold trim and accents and a floral cherry blossom center. It has signs of crazing, some of the gold has worn away and the bottom has nicks. There are no cracks or chips. It measures 2 7/8" wide. There are no marks on the bottom. The white square dish in the center is made by the Johnson Bros. England as it is marked R.N. 122733 in gold on the bottom. It is made of semi-porcelain and has a typical brown floral pattern in each quarter.The top and bottom are straight. While the left and right sides are curved. This piece is in the best condition of the three. It has ... morelight wear on the bottom and one tiny pink hole ding on top, but it is free of cracks, crazing or chips and the paint is mostly intact with only a couple of spots wear it has rubbed. This dish measures 2 7/8" wide by 2 3/4" high. The white square dish on the right is made of Austrian hand painted porcelain with a sweet Asian lotus blossom + butterfly pattern. This is the newer of the three pieces and there are no signs of crazing. There is a flea bite on one corner as you can view in the last picture. There are some very light paint rub. This is for an old small porcelain butter pat dish. White in color. Stamped on the back is ROYAL SEMI-PORCELAINE with a crown and on a banner JOHNSON BROS X and ENGLAND underneath. There are 1-2 small chips and some discoloration on the rim as shown in the photos. This measures just under 3" across and is 1/2" deep. These are antique Johnson Brothers. England butter pats or small dishes made in the early 1900s. The semi porcelain or ironstone butter pats measures 3 inches in diameter and has a floral design with blue and gold trim. The butter pats are in good condition with no chips or cracks and only the minor crazing normal for the age and material. A couple of them have a brown tint due to food seeping through the crazing. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS. This is a very rare design to find. 12 dishes total.

Hi again. no mark on these but a single gold line or letter on each backs NOTE. i just got this from a kind ebayer. i have 4 delicate little butter plates/ pats. possible that they are saucers for a childrens tea set. but more likely butter pats. if i had to guess. i am tinking from 1880 back to the civil war. they are heavy and very delicate. i wish i had taken better pictures one ... moreis darker than the others and it has the rim chip. fairly insignificant. but it wont heal itself either. lol fresh from an old estate sale recently. i remember when these were a lot of money. lol again; just less than 3 inches across. turned up near the rims as the older saucers used to do. like a shallow soup bowl. white rim. designs in the mold. then strong hand painted gold trim. anyway. There is no reserve tonight. i am going to list more butter pats from the same estate tonight, as well.
