1800's Antique White Ironstone Butter Dish 3pc ENGLISH Sydenham Baltic ? COVER
Up for bids is this wonderful Antique Ironstone butter dish with cover and original insert. This piece is in amazing condition. The white is very bright and has absolutely no stains or chips on the outside bottom or lid. The insert does have some staining but even that is not terrible. There is a extremely tight hairline on the liner. Other than that the only thing to mention is as made glaze skip and a few pottery pops. This happened at the factory and is not post damage but mentioned for accuracy. This piece is heavily embossed and has a great finial. I'm not sure what the finial is. Looks a little like corn but then maybe some sort of fruit. I do believe this is the Baltic shape. If you know feel free to email me. I have shown a photo of e few other pieces. This is just so you can get a feel for the size. I have been collecting Ironstone ... morefor years and I guarantee this is an antique piece. It would date from mid 1850's-late 1800's. Brown transferware butter pat with a brown back stamp that reads"Oxford" J.H.W. Sons Semi-Porcelain Hanley England. This butter pat is 3.25 inches in diameter and one half inch high on the rim. The pattern is"Oxford" and is a stylized floral on a white background. This company. JH Weatherby& Sons, began in 1891 in Hanley, England. The antique butter pat has browning on the rim and the bottom. The interior is clean and the pattern is still sharp. There is normal utensil wear.

2 Antique Furnivals Quail English Ironstone China Transferware Butter Pats
Up for auction are two antique vintage Furnivals ironstone transfer designed butter pats recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. Both English made butter pats are in the"Quail" pattern. One is orange on white and the other is blue on white. Both are the same size and measure approximately 3" in diameter. The only condition issue to discuss are two small glaze drips on the rim of the orange pat. Please see photos#5-6 for details. They both appear to have the number 1913 on the reverse side. I don't know if this refers to the year made, the year they started the pattern or if it has no significance at all. Both are quite dirty and could benefit from a good cleaning. Antique Lot of Butter Pats English Transfer Porcelain Pottery Green Cottage Chic
Sweet set of butter pats in green transferware. Differing patterns, but blending well together. All say New Wharf Pottery on the bottom, but differing marks. One says Staffordshire as well. Please see all photos as they are part of my description. Mixed condition with two being in good condition with no chips or stains or scratches. And the other two not as good. Antique Blue Transfer English Butter Pat Floral Ribbons Gilt Edge
Antique butter pat with a blue-green transfer ware design of flowers. Ribbons and gold trim. It was my grandmother's and is probably English but has no marks except for an incised number 14. This 3 inch butter pat has no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a bit of wear to the gold trim at the rim.

Antique English Majolica. Wonderful 19th century majolica butter pat dish with impressed“COPELAND” mark. The back is also marked with an impressed letter“A” over“78” This piece is in the form of a pansy blossom and measures 3” 7.7 cm) in diameter. Condition: This little dish is in excellent condition. With no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some slight scuffing on the high points of the inner surface most likely caused by stacking. On the outer edge of the piece there is a tiny firing flaw(or kiln mark) which has a scuffed finish and some dark cinder type specks caught in the clay. Antique teal transferware butter pats. Each measuring nearly 3 inches across and almost 1/2 inch deep. The Kootenay pattern, manufactured in England by J. G. Meakin. Also marked as Hanley. Dishes are highlighted in gold. These are quite old, and do have crazing and minimal utensil marks. One of the dishes has 2 small chips on the bottom rim, the other has a manufacturer's mark in its' center.
