Very Old Antique China Three Pieces of Royal Semi Porcelain John Maddock& Sons England Trade Mark Three pieces of antique china. The markings on the bottom of the pieces date them to c. 1906 This is a great assortment of various pieces by John Maddock and Sons England. Semi Porcelain China. These dishes feature a lovely brown leaf and white flower with yellow/brown center pattern, I have been unable to officially identify the pattern name. These pieces are OLD and beautifully proud of it! 1) Antique England Butter Pat John Maddock And Sons Royal Semi porcelain measures: 4 1/2" length x 4 1/2" wide and is 1 1/2" tall No Crazing. Some Staining and Gold Wear. In good vintage condition with excellent wear due to its age. 2) Gravy Boat measures: approx. 8 1/8" length x 3" across x 3 1/2" depth Excellent Condition ... morewith not much wear. This is a GROUP OF 6 JOHN MADDOCK& SONS LTD ENGLAND ROYAL VITREOUS MAJESTIC PATTERN BUTTER PATS. This is a lovely and collectible grouping of"identical" antique Majestic pattern butter pats made by John Maddock& Sons Ltd. England. Made around 1896-1906. Each pat is approximately 3-1/8" in diameter. White with floral pattern in dark blue. Green, burnt orange, and yellow with gold trim. Pats are in VERY NICE antique condition with minimal. Normal signs of use. No chips or cracks that I can see. Some normal gold trim wear on edges from use. One pat has some very light crazing. Upon close examination. Some imperfections inherent in manufacture can be seen: some glazed over pinpoints, a couple glazed over small but solid puffs/bubbles, a couple glazed over divots(one white and one slightly colored) and a couple almost undetectable ... moreglazed over fine lines. UP FOR CONSIDERATION: Here is a dainty antique/vintage lot of two(2) John Maddock& Sons. Ltd Royal Vitreous Butter Pat Dishes, made in England. The first dish is in the"Victor Pattern" 379316 and has the green crown and circle mark on the bottom. This pattern is an ornate green laurel wreaths of flowers on a white vitreous porcelain ceramiic. This transfer ware plate is in excellent condition with only a few light utensil marks and& some fading to the overall sharpness of color. But the design is intact and the piece is still lovely. There is a bit of light crazing on the bottom to be expected due to age and service. This plate measures 3 1/8" wide. The second dish has a gold crown mark on the bottom and the circle with"John Maddock& Sons. Ltd, Royal Vitreous" written inside. We aren't sure of the ... morename of this pattern, but it features what looks like opposing grapevines. The rim is scalloped with a gold trim. There is some fading to the gold trim, but most is still visible. The pink/purple and green colors are nice with minimal fade. The dish is in overall excellent condition free of crazing, cracks, and chips. There may be light utensil marks due to age and service. This plate measures 3 1/8" wide. The bone china shows its age by the cracking underneath the finish. Yet there are no cracks or chips of the porcelain dish. The gold that went around the edge has worn off in places.
