This pair of white leaf-shaped china butter pats or tea bag holders has gold rims and gold"vein" outlines. They are marked"Made in Occupied Japan" Dating them to the late 1940s-early 1950s. Each measures approx. 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" They are in very good condition. With no chips, cracks or scratches. One does have lighter gold"veins" on one side. This hallmark was first used in 1911 to present. Next is tea leaf pattern Royalstone China Wedgwood& co England dating to mid-century. J&G Merkin- this hallmark dates to circa 1890.
