Rare 1875-1885 4 Dunn Bennett & Co. Eiffel Pattern Butter Pats
These 4 butter pats date back to between 1875-1885. They are white with blue leaves and some painted gold flowers. They are in excellent condition in so far as they have no chips but some of the gold band that was once around the rim has rubbed off and the base white varies from pat to pat even after I cleaned them with hot soapy water with a splash of bleach. They are 3" in diameter.

Here we offer a beautiful set of Lusterware Butter Pats. These small dishes have lots of Pizazz. Each one is scalloped and hand decorated with a under glaze navy blue starburst design. The background is a lighter blue. Then it is finished in luster with a glossy glaze& a gold edge. Really eye catching they look like they were made at the turn of the century when the English Lusters were at their peak. There is a mark on the back E.S. 1861& a Crown. The eight pieces are in the“Summer” pattern. The latter features blue and white flowers on a bone white background. Each pat is approximately 3 ¼ inches in diameter. Some have the pattent number only. Some are not marked. One has the company’s back stamp. According to Godden’s Encyclopaedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks. The company used this back stamp circa 1892. The set is in vintage condition with no chips. Cracks, cracks or crazing. These are antique Johnson Brothers. England butter pats or small dishes made in the early 1900s. The semi porcelain or ironstone butter pats measures 3 inches in diameter and has a floral design with blue and gold trim. The butter pats are in good condition with no chips or cracks and only the minor crazing normal for the age and material. A couple of them have a brown tint due to food seeping through the crazing. Here are 7 matching unmarked antique ironstone butter pats. Octagonal in shape. Each has a brown poppy pattern- one oddity is that one of the pats has 2 of the poppies on it instead of a poppy and a leafy sprig as the others do. All have light normal crazing; one has a hairline from the edge(see photos) and another has just a bit of discoloration in the center(nothing too noticeable) Diameter of each is 3 inches. Set of four beautiful transferware butter pats with pine needle/branch design. Three of them have artist's signature on the bottom. They are all in like-new vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
