The piece also features a beautiful parquetry inlay around the base of the molding, of alternating dark and light tones, but there are quite a few of these tiny pieces missing.

The piece has a semi-serpentine shape, with the two ends being quite curvy, and the center section flatter.

The main body of the wardrobe is about 20 1/2 inches deep but the serpentine face of the lower drawer extend an additional 3 1/2 inches. Everything about this piece has attention to detail.even the inside of the sizable storage drawer at the bottom has Birdseye Maple bottom panels.The three interior storage drawers share the same detail.The entire piece is simply covered in Birdseye Maple. Interior and exterior!The giant door mirror has been expertly beveled to match the detail trim of the door.it is original to the peace and has minimal silver loss.The back of the wardrobe has even been finished.
