I love the special design elements such as the asymmetrical top and the Art Nouveau influences in the carvings of tulips and leaves. The spiral tops remind me a bit of Gaudi. As they are quite whimsical. It is rather large, measuring approx. 76" h x 42" w x 21 1/2" d. I believe the glass has been replaced, but this is how I purchased the item. I never sell such large pieces of furniture over ebay, as the shipping is so expensive. However, this rare piece warrants the extra money on shipping. Antique Bronze Set of 4 Art Nouveau Furniture Feet/Legs
Interesting set of four bronze pieces that would act as the feet for a table(or other piece of furniture) leg. Not sure of a date of origin. But these appear to have some age on them. They're in good shape with minimal signs of wear and a nice patina. The feet measure approximately 4.5" tall, 1.75" deep, and 1.25" wide. The opening where a leg would be inserted is slightly less than an inch in diameter and there is a hole on the back for a screw to hold it in place. This is a Wonderful Old Piece. I am not sure if it would be considered Art Nouveau or Art Deco. My best guess as to age would be 1910-1930. The base appears to be cast iron and it is a heavy/sturdy piece. It is 19" high from the floor to the top of the piece. From the floor to the top of the cushion. It is 16& 1/2" It is 19" Long by 13" Wide. I do not know the history of this piece so cannot say if it has been around pets or smoke. I consider it to be in vey good condition however there is some paint loss/fading that does not affect the overall good looks of this Unique piece. The Metal is a shade of Green with Ivory. 4 original Art Nouveau brass furniture mounts/ hinge covers circa 1905. Original finish/ lacquer unpolished. Found wrapped in paper in a loft. Length 6”153mm. Please see my other items. All are genuine and NOT reproduction. All copper& brass will have been professionally cleaned. All items are in good condition with no major damage unless stated. But all will have general ware/ marks, small dings Etc, consistent with their use and genuine age. Candlestick will not be bent but my lean very slightly as these are not modern copies.
