Incredible French Carved Single Door. Mirrored, Armoire/Wardrobe. Incredible detail all over. This one is from the mid 1800's, I do not believe it has been refinished ever, looks all original to me. You will see a few age marks here and there, and a few flecks of veneer off along the bottom of the door. In the last picture you will see the door is open to the piece and the left hand side is seperated, this is because a tightening bolt is missing. These pieces break down in several pieces and have to be attached, the bolt that attaches the left side to the crown, or topper, is missing, I will get a new one and have it in there before it is delivered to a customer. Antique 1890's French Armoire with mirrored doors and four drawers
Beautiful 1890's French Armoire. Double doors with mirrors. Four drawers and space for a bar to hang clothes. I took pictures of all angles to show you the condition of the piece. It's large and comes apart to move. I do not have the four armoire bolts. You can get those replaced easily online. I have used this piece without the bolts. the 1890's key is not present. I have a key I use just for opening and closing. This piece is a true treasure. 63 Inches Wide and 22 1/2 inches deep. 93 inches tall.

Stunning Antique French mirror wardrobe/armoire from the Belle Epoque Era
This has been in our spare room for several years and we absolutely love it- it is truly beautiful. Sadly we need to part with it to make way for a new member of the household. The top piece comes off above the mirrored door. And both drawers and shelves come off/out to make moving/transport easier. It is very sturdy, not a light piece. The paintwork is distressed and it was bought like this 11 years ago, and only the knobs and handles have been changed as they were in poor shape or not existent and 1 shelf added. It measures 252 cm high at middle point 124 cm wide. 46 cm deep plus the top piece sticks out another 25 cm as you can see from photo 2, but is removable. This excellent quality French antique double door armoire in the Henri II style dates from c.1900. The armoire has been painted in Farrow and Ball'Pavillion Grey' with'All White' highlights. And has been given a soft wax finish. With some wonderful features including a carved removeable top with finials to each side. There are reeded columns either side of the decoratively carved panelled doors. With ornate brass locks to the doors and handles to the drawer. The interior can be fitted with adjustable shelves or can have a shelf with hanging rails from front to back. There is an additional useful drawer to the base. As with all our wooden items it has been fully treated with a woodworm preventative as a matter of course. There are some very minor knocks and bumps but this is in keeping with its age c1900. I am selling this beautiful armoire. Which I believe to be of French origin, sometime in the 19th century. This piece is made of solid cherry wood. And has some scratches/dings and discoloration(mostly visible in pictures provided) This armoire breaks down into 7 pieces- the bonnet. Bottom, sides, back, and two doors are all separate and come apart for easier transportation. My understanding is that this piece was meant to be a traveling wardrobe for families when they travelled. I believe the glass is original. And it is the old fashioned bevelled style. It once had reflective backing to make the windows into mirrors, however, this backing is no longer with the piece. The rough dimensions of the piece are: 60" wide. 92" tall, and 21" deep. Selling a gorgeous French mirrored armoire that was purchased some years ago at an Antique shop in San Francisco. The piece is signed on the back: Picard Paris. Faubourg St. Antoine" I'm not an expert on wood. But I can say it is solid hardwood and my guess is it's cherry or perhaps walnut. Doesn't look like oak grain to me. But again, I'm not an expert! The armoire has two doors with beveled mirrors on each. Beautiful carving along the top and bottom. Inside there are three shelves, two small drawers at about middle height, and a single larger drawer near the bottom. There is also a single long drawer at the bottom, outside of the armoire doors. You can see that one in the 4th picture. Total assembled dimensions are 54" wide x 19" deep x almost 8' tall. It fit in our house, which has 8' ceilings, but ... morethere was not much room to spare! A very large French Empire wardrobe or armoire circa 1850-1870. Past down by decent in the same French Canadian family and then through marriage to Norwegian American relatives in the 1920's. Made from beautifully grained mahogany veneer over pine secondary wood and always kept indoors. There is absolutely no fading of the rich wood colors. It is approximately 87 inches high. 24 inches deep, and 61 inches wide, and is in excellent overall condition. Only minor veneer chips as expected from age and use. I will give it a dusting and a coat of paste wax and it will be ready to enjoy for another 100 years. It is easily disassembled for transport thanks to the original wood keys which attach the sides to the base and the tapered wedges which lock the top to the sides. This is a beautiful Louis XIV Walnut French armoire. It stands tall and proud and is an impressive piece with rich texture to the wood finish. The motif looks like an eye at the top and an eye on the bottom- quite unusual! The armoire is 24" deep. 54" 4'5" wide, 91" 7'7" tall. We are unsure of the weight but estimate at around 175lbs. It's been very well cared for in a smoke free home. There are minor marks here and there and it looks like the back right leg was repaired a long time ago. Missing the key. This handsome piece is constructed of Chestnut and features 3 slatted heart pine shelves on the interior. The side panels and doors are of paneled construction and the crown boasts a large shell in the center of a spindled galley flanked on the corners with large finials. Note the hand carved floral rosettes and scrollwork above the doors. There is a single drawer along the bottom below the doors and there are two bun feet in the front. Crafted from fruitwood and mahogany, it features extensive and massive bronze mounts throughout by the French bronzier Emile Kahn, a leading bronzier working in France in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. There is some crackling to the parquetry noticeable on the sides, and scrapes, scratches and small chips here and there, noticeable near the base and on the curved parquetry panels on each side. FOR SALE: 19th CENTURY FRENCH VICTORIAN ARMOIRE/ WARDROBE- Wonderful rare find- perfect for period décor. This piece is exactly what would have been in a 19th Century San Francisco mansion bedroom. This Armoire/Wardrobe is magnificent. It is all original with no restoration to the original hand-painted murals. It is very ornate with hand-painted Victorian cherubs. It has two large closets on either end. There are drawers in the center section closet. It was made in France in the 19th Century. It is very transportable due to the wonderful European design. The piece fully disassembles so that it can be taken through narrow doorways and up tight staircases. Similar pieces have been previously listed on eBay for $10.000.00- $12,000.00. This is a rare find and currently there are none of this magnitude listed for sale on eBay. Measurements: ... more8 feet in length. 25 inches in depth and 6 ft. 9 inches in height.
