The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. It was a thrill to at last purchase them. They are so very beautiful; I love just simply staring at them. Wholly restored and with new wiring. BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. This is a vintage 1915-1925 hand painted glass ceiling light globe in wonderful condition. The exterior has been hand painted with a rural scen e. One side depicts a farm setting with house and barn with trees; the opposite sho ws a road curving through trees. The two scenes are separated by water with a likeness of a sail boat on the surface and hills in th e distant background. The glass itself is frosted over a co arse surface that reminds one of ice-chipped glass. The paint has no loss and the colors are rich and vibrant still. There is one thin fitter c hip that barely breaks the surface of the edge and would never show. The globe about 12"W X 6-6.5" H with a 10" fitter. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. The original wiring, cables,etc are still present. The chandelier measures approximately 25 inches tall. 18 inches wide. The glass round ball shaped hand blown piece measures 9 inches around. The glass globes measure approximately 5-1/4 inches in diameter. 3 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter at largest opening and 2 inches in diameter at smallest opening. Chandelier is quite heavy. Will be packed with lots of care and a generous amount of bubble wrap. Paper and cardboard before packing it into a sturdy solid strong box and shipped to the new owner. VINTAGE OLD ANTIQUE MID CENTURY CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE CHANDELIER GLASS MIRROR
I have up for auction this super nice find. This piece was found in an old estate that I cleaned out. This piece is super awesome and guaranteed old. The is all metal with leafe designs that are all painted cream. Then there is a mirrored back with the light bulb that sticks out. Then on the light bulb are all glass beads that are tied around the light bulb which you can remove when the light bulb burns out. Then all along the perameter of the piece are super great solid glass or crystal tiered round ball prisms. They are all there and the piece is in good shape for its age. The mirror does have some light crazing which is on the back side but just great authentic patina to the piece. The piece measures about 10" in diameter at the widest point. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. Old Art Deco Aluminum li ght fixture. It has been hanging up in an old barn since the mid 60's. One of the li ght sockets is cracked on the back side and needs rewired and cleaned up. This will be a stunning fixture if cleaned up and repainted. It is 14 1/2" diameter and from bottom of fixture t o top is 2 1/2" thi ck. It is marked H. P. Inc with the number 905-15. All components are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's era. The shade and stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 15 1/4 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. There are some rough spots around the inner rim that are not visible when hung. The chain has been left with its vintage petina- looks great. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era. The socket housing is vintage and there are three new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs along with all new wiring. Description: This light fixture has a frosted glass shade with raised. Clear stars. The rim of the shade and the bottom center are clear glass. The bottom center of the shade is in the form of a compass. The light hangs down about six inches, and measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter. The metal portion of the fixture was custom made in our workshop. And has been finished in a metallic bronze color. This has two new porcelain sockets with new wiring, including a ground wire. Vintage fixture. The chrome housing/ceiling canopy does show some minor blemishing to the finish relevant to age. I replaced the original socket. I had a box of unused older sockets that has the string type pull so the socket was a perfect companion to the fixture since the canopy piece does have an opening hole for the string to come through) The sockets shown in the last photo are not included with the auction listing.
