This is an antique solid brass student lamp. It is marked Manhattan Brass Co. NY. Pat. May 23. 76 and Dec. 25, 77 and May 20, 79 and is in very good condition. It retains its original milk glass shade. The shade is very thin and is hand blown. There are some flea bites around the top of the shade. But there are no cracks or chips. The lamp has been electrified but it can be reverted back to kerosene without any damage to the lamp. The oil reservoir is the locking type and iserts and twists to keep it in place. Please see all photos as they are the best representation of condition. The lamp stands 20-1/2" tall overall and the base is 6" in diameter. Check my feedback and Bid with confidence! Offered is a fabulous 47 piece lot of old French Cut pendalogue chandelier prisms. This is an asssorted lot with the smaller ones measuring 3 inches long plus the top bead. The largest ones are 5 inches long plus the top beads. These are flat on one side and cut with a double bevel edge on the other. A great mixed lot with some unusual cuts, some have glass florete top jewels. There are more than enough prisms her to really dress up your old French Versailles chandelier. There are a couple of them that are missing the top jewels, I will add them prior to packaging. The parcel will be a rather large and heavy. A nice early oil lantern. Unusual cut glass globe with brass ends. Has a metal swivel handle with hook to hang. Sits on a small brass burner. Working condition. You will need to fill with oil as I will be draining it to ship. Stands approx. 11 1/2" tall without handle. Glass is 6" diameter widest. Condition is good, glass does have some scratches to it. Also the burner does not connect to lantern, I'm not sure if it's missing some clamps or? Burner will wedge in to place, but, do not move or lift when lit as it could fall out and cause fire. It originally had a central oil lamp with a ring of 9 candles around the perimeter. The oil lamp is now converted to hold an electric bulb. The bronzework on this chandelier is superb. With massive construction and fine Louis XVI styling and details. It is nicely patinated to a medium bronze color and we did not attempt any restoration or polishing. This is a counterweighted chandelier that can be easily adjusted up and down. However, the adjustment chains are short and not much adjustment is presently available(replacing the chains would solve this if additional height adjustment is desired) The wiring and socket are old and in poor condition and must be replaced before use. Albion Antiek Antique Bell Jar Lantern 19th. Century Purple Glass Lamp- Rare Color This listing is for a beautiful original antique early 19th century glass bell jar lantern lamp. This lantern comes with its smoke shield and is a beautiful very dark purple amethyst color(the lid is lighter in color but I do believe it is the original smoke shield for this lantern) It retains its original brass fittings and chain. The shield measures 10-3/8" across and the bell jar measures 9-5/8" high and 8-1/2" across. Condition is good. There are manufacturing flaws and irregularities in the glass(air bubbles and lines and folds in the glass on the lid. These are not cracks or damages but happened in the making) The glass has a few air bubbles that were broken through on the surface but there are no chips or cracks and no repairs. There is ... morejust the usual chipping along the opening hole in the lid where the chain comes through(that is normal for this type of lamp) One of the peacock heads has lost its little clip that folds over the bell jar edge(see pictures) but that does not compromise the stability or ability to safely hang this lamp. This is a beautiful entry way or porch hanging lamp/light mission era. It is brass or bronze maybe even copper parts in trim. Hard to tell as parts have been painted black. The glass is beautifully designed with a type of geometric frosted clear design almost mosaic. The lamp is in the shape of a decagon and measures 6" high and 6" in diameter. In working order and in good condition with some minor oxidation. It has an approximate 123" long cord with an electrical tape repair. I believe the glass globe is a replacement because it is an old Hazel Atlas glass jar.

Vintage ANTIQUE Moorish TURKISH HANGING BRASS Light/LAMP Jeweled Fixture RARE
Extremely rare. 1900's- 1950's antique hanging brass lamp from the Turkey/Morroco area that has a Moorish/ Muslim/ Islamic influence from the research I have done. This is being sold for the ORIGINAL OWNER who shipped this back from Turkey during his military deployment in Instanbul in the early 1950's and has kept it in beautiful condition ever since. It is from a super clean, non smoking household. This is an extremely RARE piece, especially in this condition. Both lights work(there are 2 bulbs total inside the lamp) and the wire is in pristine condition. This lamp is extremely colorful with blue, green, purple and orange jewels with heart cut out patterns in the metal and transmits a fabulous lighting effect when it's on. One of the large jewels is not completely flush with the metal, but none of the jewels are missing ... moreand they all appear to be original. A couple of the smaller jewels are not perfect and have small sratches, the brass is tarnished a bit and there are a few flaws in the brass that you can't see in the pics, but overall it's just spectacular. It is wired and has the original chain attached to hang it, so all you have to do is plug it in. THIS LAMP IS QUITE LARGE AND MEASURES APPROX. 18 INCHES FROM THE TOP METAL LOOP TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FINIAL. THE TWO LARGES GLOBES ARE APPROXIMATELY 9 1/2 INCHES ACROSS. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND.
