Flush mount waterfall or wedding cake crystal chandelier. Fixture was disassembled. Cleaned, reassembled and rewired. Decorative stamped metal body retains a worn original finish. Being offered for your viewing and consideration is this 7 light French Regency shell form ceiling mount fixture circa late 1800s-early 1900s. Overall this piece measures 17"A x 3 1/2"H. The interior circle which would hold prisms as well as a basket frame for a wedding cake chandelier measures 10"D. Condition and specifics are as follows: The piece is composed of a cast heavy metal and void of breaks. Vintage Antique Tiered 7 Light Basket Waterfall Wedding Cake Chandelier Spain
This is an amazingly beautiful vintage or antique(age unknown-partial cloth wiring) medium to large sized wedding cake or basket style five tiered candelabra chandelier. It is just loaded with crystal prisms. And believe it or not, it's actually missing a few strands. It measures 14.25" in diameter. Hanging length is approx. 57" The length of the light fixture MINUS the extension chain is approx. 26-28" I know very little about it's origin other than it's been hanging for several years in a collector's building and it was covered in dust when I found it. I also found"Montesinos Made in Spain" stamped on one of the lights. See pics) Montesinos was a chandelier maker and. Therefore, may have made this chandelier. I have no other way of explaining why this name would be stamped on one fixture. Also the ... morewiring to the lights is cloth but the cord that attaches to the electrical wiring of a house has been updated to a more modern type electrical cord. see pics) Condition: One light is missing its bobeche and candle-like socket cover and the five strands of prisms to match the others. Each of the other lights is missing 1 strand of prisms. And three maybe four strands are missing elsewhere in the bottom tiers. None of these things should be very difficult to replace. The only other thing needed is some polishing of the metal parts. At least some of which seem to be brass or brass-plated. Free Shipping! Unusual shape Acrylic Chandelier in two tiers. Measures 15.5" across by 9.5" wide. It is a hardwire so I can't light it for the pic but it came straight out of our remodel. 45 acrylic prisms(missing one. Supposed to be 46) Cant even tell and you may just remove another from a corner to even it up. Prisms measure 8" long. Good clean vintage shape. brass is tarnished here and there.
