These are wonderful art deco sconces with a Victorian look. They are in as-found condition and have newer wiring. Each has a slightly different patina but compliment each other well. There are no switches at the base; there are empty holes. The switches are not needed. They can mounted and used without them. I believe they are made of a mixed metal. Up for auction is this Vintage Hanging Chandelier 5 Light Victorian with cast metal arms and frame. Look at all the pictures as they describe it better than I can. The bulbs were removed and four out of the five still work. I have no way of testing the fixture itself. it has the old wiring all the way up through the ceiling hanger. This looks like a lamp base. But there is no hole that goes all the way through at the top for the cord, and the top is a bit mangled, like something broke off. It is very heavy, and could pass for a cast iron piece, but it is made of a silver metal which is showing through the chipped paint. It is very detailed with Victorian scrolls, cherubs/cupid, and fancy feet. It measures 13" to the ball trim part, and about 6 1/4" square. Cool piece. Listing a lot of Lamp/Lighting items now. They both have original paint. The undersides are the same. I imagine these handpainted by an artist with many colors. Fantastic! No chips,cracks, defects. They will need refitting with up to date bulb sockets. They are 12 inches across and 3 inches deep, weigh close to 5 1/2 lbs each. Up for sale is a Lot of 3 Painted Cast Metal Victorian Light Sconce and Ceiling Light Fixtures with Porcelain Light Sockets. The sconces are 12" long x 6" wide. The Ceiling Fixtures is about 6 1/2" wide. The items are rusty but they are not rusted though. Very sturdy. There is some bent spots but will be very beautiful when they are redone. Estate Find- Used Item: Needs to be re-wired because the wiring is cloth wrapped. But the unique bulb still works and the pull chain also in good working order. Was covered with film, probably from a fire place or coal burning fire, thought the color was antique brass, but in some light it looks kind of silvery, so look closely at the photos so you know what your bidding on. Marked on the back with"Art L Fix Co. Pat. Applied For" The sleeve is cardboard and in pretty rough shape. There was no mounting bolt. Cleaned up and re-wired, it will make a beautiful fixture. Antique Victorian Heavy Cast Metal Iron Gothic 5 Light Chandelier
Offered for sale I have this beautiful antique heavy cast metal ornate chandelier recently found in the attic of an old oceanfront victorian in Historic Ocean Grove NJ. This is a very heavy chandelier at approx. 11.5 lbs. This is in very nice condition and only needs to be rewired as it still has it's old cloth wiring. It also comes with the original ceiling mount and plate. Chandelier measures approx 18.5" in diameter. 14" tall on the chandelier. The chain is 6" long but can be replaced with any length chain.
