We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts era, brass chandelier. This pan fixture features brilliant brass with sleek lines and nice detail. The brass pan has a stepped, domed design with three distinct sections. It is slightly cone shaped and narrows at the bottom with a round finial accent. The brass chains are quite nice and long and lead to the large, original bell shaped ceiling cover/canopy. There are four old glass ruffle shades that are included with the chandelier. The fixture is in very good condition with some very minor"dings" that are not distracting. The fixture has been rewired and is ready for installation. A wonderful antique brass three-light chandelier. Dating from the late 19th century, fitted with opaline art glass shades. The fixture begins with an understated canopy and comes down in a rod to meet a foliate cluster. Scrolling arms with leafy flourishes descend from the cluster to meet a twisted brass ring which encircles the fixture. Three downward-facing bobeches affix to each arm and support hand-blown globes with a swirled design and an opalescent glow. The fixture finishes in a beautifully cast orb finial ornamented with a ribbed cap and foliate cluster; beaded chains with spheres at their centers connect each bobeche to the finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. 2 Gorgeous dark brass sconces with crackle glass shades
This is auction is for a pair of these wonderful crackle glass lantern sconces. Rewired and ready to use. Mounting brackets included. The backs are newer and the glass is older. There is a mark in the crackle glass that may have bumped but nothing is broken. measurements are 8 1/2" high. 7 1/2" depth and the backs are 4 X 6. all solid brass darkened.
