These glass shades were on an old Riddle chandelier and matching sconces. The milk glass has a spongewear background treatment with a red. Blue, yellow, and green flower and scroll design. Metal fitters are inside the smaller glass fitter opening with 3 slots, I assume to keep the shade in place. The larger opening measures 3 5/8" in diameter. The smallest opening inside the metal is 1 1/4" and outside the notches it is about 1 5/8" I found one tiny shade which is barely noticeable. The edges are unpolished. It has six beautiful shades in frosted pink glass with gilt banding and decoration. Five shades are mounted on curving branches with a further shade at the base. The arms extend from an imposing turned wooden central column and have a copper finish. It is original and in good condition with some expected signs of wear to the finish. The shades have no cracks or chips and the chandelier is in good working order although the wiring is vintage and so it is always prudent to check before use. It's all original.the paint, the metal, the shades, etc, and works perfectly. The body of the light is pale cream and antique metallic gold with pink, blue, yellow, and green air brush painted flowers. The shades are thick glass that's been painted cream with airbru shed peachy-carmel accents on the inside. Leaving a 1/4" thick layer of clear, slightly iridescent glass to the outside.so pretty. As pictured. It hangs 30" down from the ceiling and is 20" wide. There is an adjustable ... morepole on the top that can be lowered further out of the ceiling cap.
