The milk glass cylinder shades slip on and cover the sockets. There are two light bulbs included. I tested them and they are both currently working. The metal brackets used for securing the fixtures are also included. These are in nice condition overall. There is some age wear. The chrome may shine up more with a polishing. There are some minor paint drippings that are around the perimeter. I have only lightly dusted these. The finish is a little dull. But there is no pitting, rust or damage. These do have different switches on them. I haven't tested these, I am really not handy with electrical wiring. The sockets are ceramic, so they are likely original. The milk glass looks good. There are no cracks in the shades. The bottom rim has the typical roughness of a glass shade. The bulb sockets on these take a standard size. These measure 17" long and 2.5" wide. They will extend from the wall about 2.25" These are sure to make a dramatic impact in any deco. Industrial, or machine age decor. Pair 30's Vintage Deco Porcelain Bath Sconces Bathroom Milk Glass Shades
Description Please read everything carefully prior to purchasing. This auction price is for one matching pair. The pair of shades that are photographed and the sconces that are shown together as a pair are the ones in this auction. These are a matching pair of porcelain deco bathroom sconces(or wherever you would like) These Paulding wall lamps were made in the 30's and the design was produced into the 50's when they reissued wall lights from the same molds with polarized outlets. This pair has both sconces wired with an active outlet if you need one and they are polarized. It is your responsibility to ensure that these meet your local code. The original sockets-switches have been cleaned and lubed. They were designed to go on either side of the mirror above a sink. They will fit any standard box-4 1/2" wide by 6 1/4" tall ... moreon the backs. 7 1/4"tall with shades and pull chain, and stick out 4 5/8" from the wall. The slip in or drop in solid opal milk glass shades are damage free outside of normal manufacturing roughness. These shades were originally a choice for these fixtures unlike the clear glass with enamel coating shades which are often found for sale with this period style. This pair has a very small void in the casting that was glazed over so it was during manufacture. It is right below my finger in the 8th picture. The shades(at least one of them) are very opalescent and show a reddish tint. Not very noticeable but the price is lowest on this pair. You may choose from polished brass, rubbed bronze, chrome, or silvered on the cap nut to match your hardware as shown. Shipping is at cost, including combined shipping. Antique Matched Pr 1930s Porcelain Sconces Silver Trim Fluted Milk Glass Shades
Up for your consideration is a very nice matched pair of 1930s porcelain sconces. They have a great unblemished silver trim. These sconces are almost perfect but as I tried to capture in the last two photos there is a small crack forming by the outlet on one sconcethat is the only blemish on them. The very nice fluted milk glass shades are in exellent condition with no cracks or chips. They will need a new socket and rewire. They measure 6" inches tall. 5" inches wide, and 5" inches deep. Pair Art Deco Chrome Sconces Cylinder Milk Glass Shades Lights XLNT
These are a beautiful pair of 1930s large Art Deco Chrome sconces with thick milk glass cylinder shades. They are in excellent condition. The chrome is in good condition for their age nice and shiny with some minor scratches most of which are covered by the glass shades. The glass shades are in great condition too with no chips or cracks. These have their old cloth wiring so probably will need rewiring. They appear to be all original. They have the hardware to connect to your electric box. Beautiful dramatic sconces. Dimensions: 16 inches tall by 2.5 inches wide by 3 inches deep.

Simply large and wonderful massive wall sconces suitable for any large home or brownstone. There are two(2) wonderful wall sconces that are totally perfect and defect free. Purchased in the 1950 from a 1920's gold coasts estate's liquidation/destruction they were briefly used and have since sat in a basement closet since the 1970s.what a shame. In the 1950-1990s a tremendous amount of the estates constructed on Long Islands north shore were torn down and destroyed to make room for the sprawling suburbia. Many artifacts and true works of craftsmanship were lost. Some were saved and pop up from time to time. These are substantial pieces no doubt weighing about 20lbs each and measuring 38x28x14and the milk glass 16x12. This is a beautiful and substantial one of a kind piece. Three vintage cast iron wall sconces. Embossed on ring that hold shade-A W Co. Chicago Pat'd April 1st 1902 For entry wall or front porch. Perhaps. Need restoration? Please see pictures for details. Heavy- each sconce weighs more than 2 pounds. Approximately 7 inches tall. 7 inches front to back. Bottom of shade diameter-5 inches. Milk glass shades are thick glass-approx 3/8 to 1/4 inches. The edges have chips(picture#6 shows the worst chip. Several little points on the edge are missing. The edges of each shade are very sharp. I will ship in two boxes-glass shades in one.
