I’m very pleased to offer this matched pair of Eames-era indoor/outdoor pendant lights! I estimate that the fixtures are from the late 1950s. They can be used indoors. And also outdoors provided they don’t receive direct rain. Each fixture has four clear panels with dramatic starbursts carved in. Nice. ... moreThe panels are plastic. I thought they were glass until I removed them for cleaning. They read as glass. The black finish is original and in very good condition. It’s nice to have a matched pair. This pair is ready to hang. And comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixtures accept standard base 60W bulbs. COLOR: Black. Brass bits with patina. SIZE: The fixtures hang down 21-inches. I can remove up to 8-inches of chain. I can also remove all the chain. And have the bodies kiss the ceiling canopies. They would be 10-1/2-inches long then. The fixtures are 6-1/4-inches wide. The ceiling canopies are 4-1/2-inches wide. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage. The plastic panels are not yellowed or brittle. They have surface scratches(where someone used a harsh pad to clean them) The sockets are original as is the plastic-coated wiring. All are in fine condition. The black finish is. As noted, original. These are outdoor carriage lights from 1968. They've never actually been hung outdoors. They were hung behind a bar since they were new so they are no weathered or pitted.
