Location: Freeport, United States J.Codure Lyon& Muller freres Luneville French art deco at its best. A beautiful pair of 1925-1930 double wall sconces in nickeled bronze or solid ... morebrass by J.Codure: the Lyon France based designer and producer of high class art deco lighting. They hold four shades by Muller freres. This model is refered to as tulipe aux rideaux in the old catalogues. The sconces are 39 cm high(15-3/8" and 24 cm wide. Depth of about 12 cm. This model Muller shade is always signed but it's a tiny signature very close to the hole on top of the shades and so almost always large parts of the Muller freres Luneville signature was grinded away by the factory when flattening the top after the shade came out of the mold. The fixtures are signed Codure Lyon at the back. Check my other listings to see two more pairs of wall sconces by Codure. The lamps are rewired. They have new european E14 base sockets for which 220 volt bulbs will be added. For the US I will wire them with US candelabra base sockets. Free s hipping offered. Priority mail with full insurance. Muller Freres Luneville Art Deco chandelier globe 1910-1920s signed Up for auction a fairly good condition art deco chandelier globe. Signed by Muller Freres Luneville. If you looking at this auction. You know who this is and what these are worth. This globe dates back to the 1910 to 1920’s period. It’s a very good condition. The only 2 flaws I seen are on top 2 small pieces are chipped away. This is not visible from the bottom, once you hang this chandelier globe. I only have the globe and the original decorative attachments, which I believe these are silver plated bronze and have a nice age patina. On the inside, sockets are screwed onto these attachments. On these attachments, you can hang either chain or a robe kind of attachment, which was used in those time, but not on these chandeliers. This is just for your information and an idea. ... moreYou can see in one of the pictures, the signature. This is an original one, not a copy. Diameter is 14 ¼” and height is 4” The sockets that are inside are old US sockets and hold us candelabra base sockets if you wish to use these. Personally I would change these out to new ones, as these are very old. No wires are attached. This auction is only for the glass globe. What you see in the pictures, is what you are bidding on. Materials: The fixture is made in a strict geometrical Machine Age style and completely chrome-plated. The chandelier has a big and heavy glass lampshade underneath which is adorned with a reliefed and very detailed roses decor. The four smaller lampshades have the same roses decor and each of them is signed by Muller Freres Luneville(the big lampshade isn't signed) Measurements: The total height of the chandelier is 33.5" 85 cm) The max. diameter of the chandelier is 29.5" 75 cm) The big lampshade has a diameter of 15.8" 40 cm) and a height of 4.7" 12 cm) Each of the small lampshades has a diameter of 6.3" 16 cm) ... moreThe canopy has a diameter of 5.9" 15 cm) Condition: The entire chandelier is in very good. Molded glass and is hold in an unusual, strict geometrical shape. The surface is mostly frosted with some clear-polished parts in it to accentuate the strict design. The canopy and the chains are made out of copper-plated metal. The bowl is signed by Muller Freres. Measurements: The total height of the ceiling light is 25.6" 65 cm) The chains could be shortened.
