This auction is for a lamp part. There are no names on it that i see. These parts are old. I dont know what they were part of.The large piece did hold curved glass all the tabs are still there. So you can put glass back in. The large piece has some round holes in a few different place. The other piece with the rod in it also has a switch. But its some cool stuff, maybe someone could make it into a great hanging light. Also has some scraps& dings. about 14" tall total x 8 1/2 at the widest.

Vintage GE Ceramic Industrial Light Fixture/ Perfect For Steampunk Lighting
A very unique GE industrial type light fixture. Not sure of how or what it was used for. Would be great to use alone or for that industrial Steampunk light your building. I believe the cord is original and would recommend replacing. I have not tested this device. The green enamel socket measures 2 3/4" diameter and 3" long. This is a very rare first edition of"Electric Incandescent Lighting" by Edwin J. Houston. Ph. D. and A.E. Kennelly, Sc. D. Part of the"Electro-Technical Series. Published in 1896 By W. J. Johnston. Copyright page also says 1896. I can find no copies of this printing of the book online in any bookstore. There are several 1901 reprints available. And I found mention of this edition in some public libraries. Fabulous diagrams throughout show various generators. Sockets, street lights, and of course Edison-era incandescent bulbs of every sort. Really beautiful illustrations, and obviously an in-depth discussion of the topic. Great for the steampunk, industrial, electrical-engineer geek in your life. Condition is fair- though good. Considering its age. Former library copy, with all the expected stamps and marks. Binding is intact, ... morebut loose. Internally clean except for library marks and some soiling to end papers. Cover is bumped and worn, with fraying of edges and a few small chips. Beautiful gilt owl on the cover, blind-stamped owl on the back cover. Please note that I have a related"Dictionary of Electrical Terms" by Mr. Houston for sale as well. It also has great diagrams. I would be happy to combine shipping on these books.

Victorian Steampunk Gas Lighting Pieces Swan Chandelier Sconce Arm May 18 1877
We recently went to an auction that had 1880s-1960s lighting fixtures. Lamps, etc. We bought this group of gas lighting parts because we liked the swan head on the chandelier/ sconce arm. We don't know much about these fixtures, so apologies if we call something by the wrong name. We always appreciate it when people share their knowledge with us. We think these nicely cast gas light fixtures are brass and copper. A magnet does not stick to them. There is: A shade ring stamped"PAT MAY 18/ 1877. All three shade screws are original. The bottom fitter is about 1.75" in diameter. The top fitter holds a 5" diameter shade; Small. Nicely cast arm. 2 holes at 90 degrees. 5" long and about 3.5" high; An undulating chandelier or sconce arm. It's reeded. And has a turnkey piece. The cranky swan head at the end is classic ... moreaesthetic/ Art Nouveau style. It's about 13.5" long, and 9.5" high; A small turnkey piece. Please see the pictures. Antique STANDARD GILLETT LIGHT CO Gas Tank Hollow Wire Lighting Steampunk Vtg
Heavy antique fuel tank with cool old decal on front that reads"Standard Lighting System. Simplicity, Manufactured by the Standard Gillett Light Co, Chicago, Ill, USA" Has a nice old pressure gauge on top, also marked to The Standard-Gillett Light Co. Overall height including gauge is 28" and the tank is 8 1/2" in diameter. Most of you who have found this know what hollow wire lighting is, if not, you can google it and find great photos of these old tanks and interior lights. Research tells me Standard-Gillett was purchased by the National Stamping and Electric Works around 1912, so I believe this tank dates prior to that. Paint has scratches as shown but the decal is still decent- pictures a little girl using a bicycle-type pump to pressurize the tank(no doubt to prove just how safe this system was! There is a very light ... moredent under the big scratch over the light fixture on the decal. Tank is missing it's cap but the pressure gauge is very nice(other than a small ding) and has a nickel-plated brass ring holding the glass lens. Shutoff valve is a little bent, but still works freely. There is a light bend to the bottom ring on the front and another dent near the riveted seam on the back. There are two small holes on the bottom but some sharp knuckle taps found no weak spots so I'd say it could be repaired if desired. A very nice thing that took 20 years of auctions for me to find. This weighs about 11 lbs and will take a large box to safely package it as I'm not comfortable trying to remove the gauge. Shipping may be less if you live in the midwest and any significant shipping overcharge will be refunded.

BIG& HEAVY BRASS INDUSTRIAL CLIP CLAMP THREADED LIGHTING LAMP STEAMPUNK CHANCE This is an awesome item. It is a heavy red brass clamp marked CHASE and opens and closes to clamp on to a pole. Desk or whatever else. It is heavy, the worm gear turns freely and it is in excellent condition. It is missing the clamp where the 2 rust marks are, so something would need to be added to it, if you needed it in that application. We think it would make a great holder for lighting. It would be beautiful all polished up, too! We have never seen one of these and wonder if we ever will again. We took a lot of photos showing measurements. One is for heat the other is for light This lamp has a 12" in diameter cast iron base, it is adjustable 44" to 64" The light and heat shade is 12 1/2" in diameter. There are two knob adjustments, one to adjust height and the other adjusts the light shade angle. 10" from rim of shade to top of aluminum cap. The three white porcelain pins wrapped with wire are heating elements. This lamp has two features, one is for heat the other is for light. The light bulb with this lamp is very unique. The Rocky Mountain Region had been the site of YMCA summer encampments since the 1890s. But the resort locations were deemed unsuitable ... moreby many participants. At the 20 th State Convention held at Canon City in 1906. It was decided to establish a permanent summer training center for YMCA professionals somewhere in the Rockies. In July of 1907. 23 YMCA men met in Grand Lake, Colorado to discuss incorporations of the Western Conference of the YMCA. STEAMPUNK RAILROAD REFLECTOR LIGHTING,EARLY 1800'S THIS IS COOL!
I have a very cool Railroad/Maritime reflector light that. From my research dates back to the early 1800's. One particular Railroad sales catalogue that I found had this reflector light premiering its sale in 1917. It is a Imperial Incandescent Reflector Type s.d.a. Sold and used as locomotive lighting and ship lighting. This thing is so cool in all its original patina and never been touched as far as restored, the reflector is cracked and will be packed carefully but will need to be disassembles and glued because I'm sure it wont make the trip without coming apart no matter how much I try in the packing. I have included an ad from the early 1800's that shows the different kind of locomotive reflectors that were available at the time. The modern light bulb was in it when I got it and I don't know what kind of bulb goes in ... moreit, but a clear Edison bulb in this would just be cool! I plugged this in and it still works although I would have it re-wired. This is the ultimate Steampunk item for your collection and would look awesome anywhere! ART DECO DESK LAMP With metal screw-down shade. This vintage light has a switch on the neck of the lamp and a dimmer switch on the cord. But the dimmer did not work when I tested it. The lamp works. It is approx. 16 inches tall and 12 inches wide. This is a very sturdy lamp. The finish on the lamp has some tiny pitting/ spots but it is a nice patina for a vintage look. Industrial decor, or Steampunk aesthetic. It is hard to find these vintage lights.

2 Rare Armspear #454 Lanterns With Green Lens Steampunk Lighting Light Lamp
This listing is for a pair of Armspear Barge Starboard Running Lights. The story I was told from the 60 year old son of the gentleman who removed them from a barge that was abandoned on the shoreline of their property many years ago. He recalls the barge from his boyhood and his dad disassembling items off of it at their summer home. The lights were then taken back to their home and stored in the basement which is where I found them. After talking to some friends I was directed to a web site at railroadiana. I found a library of old catalogs which shows this style lantern as a#454 Lift Bridge Lamp. You will have to search for it your self eBay will not allow me to give you a link. The glass in the lantern looks blue but when illuminated it shows green. This lantern would make a good ship running light because it has a 180 degrees of glass. ... moreThis way ships could have a red one on the port side and a green one on the starboard side so other ships know what they are looking at in the dark. For the collector this lantern is very rare and finding a pair may never happen again. For the decorator who wants a industrial light from the railroad or shipping industry that can be wired for a super cool light indoors or out. Good luck finding something better. As for the damage. Each light has 2 lenses that cover 90 degrees each. Giving 180 of visible light on each lantern. One of the lanterns has one broken lens. Most of the lens is there and could be glued together to reduce the amount of light that might bleed through. Finding a replacement lens will be difficult. I thought to contact a local glass artisan to see if it was something that could be duplicated. These Lanterns have Missing Paint. Chipped Paint, Rust Spots and, Missing Burners.
