Vintage ultra chic pair of wall sconces. Beige ceramic with cute floral detail. Gold-tone scalloped edge. The curved metal has some discoloration/speckles of rust and one of the sockets has been changed(as it is different from the other. One is a turn knob and the other is a push through) The ceramic does not have any chips or cracks(other than a chip at the back however, it looks like it was intentionally made as they both have it, same size, same place. I HAVE SOME FABULOUS COLLECTIBLES AND FLEA MARKET TREASURES FOR YOUR HOME DÉCOR THAT I HAVE BROUGHT BACK FROM A RECENT BUYING TRIP SO CHECK BACK OFTEN AND PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITES. ~I am having a hard time letting go of this unique vintage wire bird cage style swag chandelier. It has the original shabby chippy pale pink paint finish. It has curled edges around the top and very bottom which makes it perfect for draping pearls. Beads, vintage handkerchiefs, flowers and crystal prisms from. It may be hard to see in the photos but there is a door that swings open for that bird cage feel. It has a double light socket. I have added the adapters which I will include so you can use the candelabra style bulb that you see or a regular large end bulb if you want more light. Vintage, antique lighting fixtures, chandaliers..set of 2 shabby chic
I don't usually list lighting fixtures. So pardon my ignorance. I recently found these on the third story of an 1870 building. I know they aren't original to that year, but I would think perhaps WW I or the 20s when that area was used as a hall for dances, church meetings, and gambling) etc. I believe the 3 support arms to be brass and the remainder is a light metal that is probably aluminum. A magnet won't stick to either area) They are a goldish color and while I have removed 70+ years of grime, it will be up to the buyer to finish the clean up process. There is some paint spattering but it seems to pop off with a finger nail. 2 of the screw sets to hold the glass globes(globes missing) are cracked on one lamp and the top seems to be missing from that same lamp. See last picture) I don't know what that part does but it is ... moreon one and not the other. I believe the two cracked parts are repairable. If not, I listed two and you can use one for parts. A couple of the set screws are also missing. AND, no doubt you are going to want to rewire them. They are a couple of nice pieces and do have a lot of potential for an entryway, dining room or other Victorian setting.
